Nice engines, I have a new paragon 4 set in the baldwin demonstrator scheme. (they came out last year) and they have the same issues yours does. They have the emf hum, granted its not as bad as yours and neither of them will stay coupled, so I had to order some of those shelf couplers. Another two issues they have I don't like is the couplers on the fronts of the engines don't work good unless you have perfectly flat track, otherwise they come uncoupled from everything. Another is the fact they're only 12 wheel drive and not 16 wheel drive. They just don't seem to pull very good for their size. Other than that, I like them alot.
