How to fix water leak in the Trunk of Toyota Prius? Water got into 12V battery too. Easy Fix.

I have an old 2005 Toyota Prius. There has been water leak in the Trunk of some time. This time water even got into the 12V battery section. Therefore I decided to fix the issue.
I found cracks between Trunk and Roof joint. There were multiple cracks on both sides of the car.
I use Silicone sealant from Walmart to fill the cracks. I also used Q-tips and paper towel to dry up any wet surface before I applying silicone sealant.
Make sure the weather is warm so that Silicone sealant works nicely.

What brand did you use ? How long to dry ? Did you have to leave the trunk open to dry or was able to close

I used the Permatex from Walmart. I left it to settle for 6-10 minutes and then closed the trunk. I would avoid doing it while raining. It snowed lightly while I was doing it. You might see some snowflake in the video. I am surprised it's still holding up after a year.

Yes, it did fix the leak. I don't have water in the trunk anymore.
