Thanks for a great video, quite new info for me even thou I've been playing the game for quite some time. The question is, in my opinion, does the game need changes, making
size and experience count somewhat less compared to the actual stats of he units. One could put in place a combat width system based on the terrain for how big a unit that could
fire in one round. ie. in a mountain tile or forest tile the number could be for example a 8, so that a conscription unit could only fire with 8 out of 20 strenght. I also think the air combat could use some reworking, cause it doesn't make sense to "protect" the ftrs with other type air units surrounding it.

In abstract theorem its interesting but mixed combined arms with strategic planning actually works more effectively.

Your sound level is really low. Yes, I can turn it up on my end, but relative to other sound sources you're very quiet.

I used different settings for this video, as I had many comments that I was too loud, but I think I will just go back to my usual settings.
I don't think this is something a content creator can ever win on, just go with whatever gets the least complaints.

I really appreciate these methodical scientific explanations of the game.
Yet at 13:00 you state that the system rounds up, because 7,5 is rounded to 8. Which is the scientific rounding of the number. It's technically not rounding up. If it would translate 7,1 to 8, that would be rounding up.
I know I am nitpicking, yet you bring up a good point: realize that all predictions are rounded to the nearest integer, so if you allow for RNGesus, this can be significant.

Good video. Also, 1 star of XP is actually an increase of 20% accuracy. Not that it really matters. More stars more good.
But the raw 10% increase has to be based on the starting 50%. And then its 50*1,2
As for OS - I still dont like it, since it limits overall army size. A group of max OS + max hero steamroll crossbred superdudes is a very different playing experience compared to a more traditional approach with just more boots on the ground.
Not necessarily a bad playing experience. But not my taste.

    • @TheEdmon
      @TheEdmon  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

1 star is 10% more accuracy which is an extra potential kill. In theory, 10% more accuracy (on 50%) is 20% more damage, which is where I assume you got your figure from. But that doesn't matter in any practical sense. Since accuracy is a multiplier, whatever damage you do will be rounded by 0.6 with 1 star. Which means the most kills you can get is 6 with a size 10 unit.

@@TheEdmon I dont even know how to put it in German. And its neither critique nor does it matter.
You always start the count from the starting value. A 10% raise starting from 50 would be 55. From 5 kills to 6 kills is 20% increase.
Nobody would understand that and its all good :P

This game is way too complicated. It has no balance and flow to it.
