First delete the cube, then add a new cube.
Classic🎉
It’s just more satisfying to delete the cube tbh
And the slaughter of innocent young cubes continues.
You deserve more subs man I’m working through the tutorial and you made it so clear what I needed to do. Unlike other tutorials which make massive skips without showing what to do
This video is a bit old by now, but to those who are still finding this video for the first time: Please remember to make your renders true-to-scale, in this case specifically with the size of the room in the video. It's important to do this because if an object is significantly larger or smaller than intended, there can be inconsistencies in the final render because the way the camera interacts with light and depth of field will make the render look odd, although you may not be able to tell exactly why it looks weird. Good luck! 😁
Lovely 3D scene and even lovelier the lighting, so simple yet so effective!
Maybe the best teacher inthe whole TH-cam game, so much details, patience a quality in this work! Kuddos!
Love the way you detail your work flow. And nice looking render.
Clearest tutorial I've found so far. Thank you so much for this, you've helped me out a lot - Brilliant work!
Quick and easy tutorial, I love this!!! I’m a designer who’s currently transitioning into blender, my medium was 3ds max and sketchup and this one is perfect for my software transition 👏
A great tutorial, mate. Thank you!
Lesson learnt from this video: learn how to create glass texture so that I wont have to just hide the glass geometry to mimic transparency.
Great tutorial !!
Perfect!! Keep on doing more of them!
Thanks for tutorial. Amazing!
Keep on doing more of them, Thank you, mate
Very helpful !! Dont stop the great work bro!
Keep it up bro 🙏 . Really helpful .
Awesome tutorial! Would be nice seeing one teaching how to import a model in other formats (fbx., obj.) and how to apply the texture map and correctly use the shader nodes
I don't want to say "I can't believe it's that easy," so instead I'll say "I can't believe I let myself think it was so difficult." Blender is really intimidating, but you've taken away a lot of the mystery and made me feel like I'm ready to graduate from donuts to architectural digest
I created beatiful render. Thanks for good lesson!
great man, pls make more tutorials.. thank you
Hi. I love the way you teach. Detailed, steady pace and easy to understand. Well done !!!!.
If it's not asking too much, could you create a video on virtual staging? Struggling to understand plugging images into material nodes and projecting images on geometry. Cheers.!!!!
"Simple" is and understatement.
Thank you
a nice one 😊
Love the Video! thanks for creating it I am absolutely new to Blender and Archive. Can I ask you why I am not able to make the loop cut on the walls and ceiling? :( I am only to do that on the floor face.
Much blessings on your way
The tabs at the bottom are not default, i.e the size adjustment, insert face tab etc. This seems like a good tutorial but I had to stop about a minute in because I am unable to use the windows that you are in the bottom left
i got the materials from your description, but when i click on them, they open in a new project. How do I import or "load" these materials in order to use them for a different project (the interior) ?
1:04 I don't have this option of bridge the faces
please tell what should I do..
I am using blender 3.4.1.0
did you hold down shift and select both faces while on face Tab Face select mode, and then right click ?
How did you select the floor?
Hello !! I’m really struggling to get « inside » the house , I can’t get correctly trough the wall . Do you know how I can fix that ? :)
Thanks for the tutorial! A question - When I import and apply the floor texture on Blender 4, its showing as a dark, smooth wood coloured gradient, with no wood texture - I've tried moving some of the parameters but no luck thus far - any ideas what could be the cause of this? Thank you!
I don't know why it is acting up but the texture is originally from Poly Haven and is called Wood Floor, there are also plenty of other free floor textures for you to use as well.
@@EPICMAN_3D Thanks for the reply - turned out I had to UV unwrap it before it would display correctly - adding this here for anyone else who has the same issue
I got stuck on a glass part. Also there is no glass material in the description. I'm new to blender so I don't even know how to install a shader. Otherwise a very good tutorial!!
Sorry about that, the glass shader should be the blender file that the assets are in.
Why dont the textures load, when I append the textures and put them onto the geometry it just turns the mesh black. Im using blender 3.0.1 but I dont think thats the problem. Any other reasons this could be happening?
Lat I know, but is your normals inside?
0:54 For some reason it selects 3 faces even when try and select the top and bottom separately.
Select one face-> press shift -> select other face
gg thks
How can you match the opposite edge at 1:59? I see you press G, sliding it backwards and then somehow it ends up at the opposite edge when you release it. How? It doesn't work here.
Any ideas?
That because you need to turn on snap to vertice to match the opposite edge.
@@EPICMAN_3D It is turned on and doesn't snap.
SAME ISSUE HEREEE
same issue
Yeah same. No one is helping
Hi!
Minute 1:38 comands x-way. Please explain. I tried x+w, tried x but cannot get the same results. I'm a begginer in Blender.
Thanks!
Sorry its supposed to be x-ray and its the button in the top right corridor next to the show overlays button (it's the one with the two squares over lapping). Hope that helps.
@@EPICMAN_3D I'm searching it. 20.000 years later :) Oh, I mustlearn the basics first to understand the system. However I find your way of teaching very easy and pleasand. And is also fast. Is just that I have to know the tol before to start to buid something :) Thank you for being quik to answer and willing to help!
Please, when making a beginner tutorial, don't fly past ANYTHING. When you made your walls line up after deleting the front faces, you made it easily click into place exactly where you needed it to. I'm currently struggling to replicate what you did there. It seems to have something to do with the middle wheel. I got it to happen on one wall but I don't know exactly what I did and I can't get it to happen on the other wall. Every tutorial I watch has this issue, where they just blow past some hotkey they know or some setting you need and then you can't follow the rest of the tutorial.
That because you need to enable snap to vertice (01:15) that should hopefully fixed your problem.
@@EPICMAN_3D That's the problem I have as well, snap to vertices is enabled but the ceiling doesn't snap. So what to do?
i have the same problem, even tho i do have snap to vertex enabled :/
solved it! for future reference if anyone sees this: press x or y after g so that it only moves along that axis. then it will snap parallel to the other vertex
@@carla3585 dude you're a life saver
why is it when i click tab and click on a side, i only tabs onto a the dots, and i have no move option
That is because you're in vertice select mode and you need to change to face select, if you are struggling with the tutorial watch an absolute beginner's tutorial like the donut tutorial and then come back.
Not going to lie, I can't even get past the select face at 0:23.... I have the select tool selected but when I click the face it just keeps moving the cursor point around haha oooh this is going to be a long day any help would be appreciated!
Lat answer. Have you clicked face, type three (not the number pad) in edit mode?
How do you add assets to the scene?
You download the file from Google drive then you open the blender file and then copy the models and paste them in.
How did you delete everything from the scene in the beginning?
Press A to select everything, then X to delete.
@@EPICMAN_3D hey thank you. One more question. I downloaded the Home Builder add-on and enabled it. But I have 5 home builder tabs on my toolbar. Do you know how I can get rid of 4 of them so I just have 1 up there?
3,12min video = 1.5h working with it, this is my limit LOL
Realistic?
maybe little bit slower, thanks
you need to make a doughnut before you come here.
spent a good 5 hours finding out how to select both top and bottom faces
Good tutorial, but 'then' is not necessary every step.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and yeah I'm trying in my new tutorials to make sure that I don't keep saying 'then'
Is English your second language?
"realistic"
Thank you!😄 I try😌👍
loads of "Then"
"....and then were going to.........then were going to...... and then were going to". Put some variety in the way you teach.
I'm going to start to change the way I make my videos and the way I teach as well.
this is beyond fucked to follow...... slow down and what tf are these combo 123 sequence to do simple shit in the app.....
Are you kidding me ?! Dropping assets doesn’t consider as art
Can you talk faster? I almost understood everything. If you talk faster, then I'm sure I won't understand anything you say.
