The key & keyhole reference was perfect. Non-pattern players are the ones you are referring to. The only consistencies in their attack is their setups. Every counter is instinctual. It's almost as if in order to find the correct solution, you must be open to the imagination.
Yeah I get the last points , its that state that allows me to pay well, without it I lock myself up but when I get it I can get past anyone its like my minds crystal clear and aware of everything, I can tell what the defenders going to to before they do it I find freestyle dribbling at a fast pace while watching someone like kyrie to help me get into this state. Even better if i can get a defender while doing this
I think it’s pretty cool when different smart people from different areas of the same field come to the same conclusion. Tommy John iii (baseball guy) talks about getting incredibly good at Iso holds like lunges, push up holds, and hangs, because of the soft tissue work you get and to prioritize that BEFORE your sport IF you don’t have that strength yet. Basically the same thing Ross said here. You know something is legit when multiple smart people do different things and end up at the same conclusion.
The solution is to train fast. All the players you named train at very high speeds and have done so for a very long time. Their brains are so fast even if it looks like they play slow. To develop these movement patterns you have to train to master the movements and then have fun with your moves
@@gloxi3885 yes you can develop these movement patterns by training faster to the point that it’s second nature. Also helps to have a dynamic stretching routine as well
First i think your teachings are the best in basketball. My thoughts on stage 3 it makes so much sense and through learning what youve been teaching, i been talkin to my homie about this alot. I think a way to improve the 3rd stage of your game would be to have players play 2 on 1 with 2 intense on ball defenders. I feel like it would force you to … like you said make quicker decisions in closer quarters. be water.

One of the best videos out explaining this subject on basketball movement and how the best players differ from the others

Ohh that's why they can react fast then right?
