Looking good kids. Another old ratty 4 door saved from the scrapper. Dan, I think a Wildfire 4 post is the way to go. It is neat how Halfass Brent moves his around. Carry on you two crazy kids!!
Awesome job Dan, that panel lined up as well as it possibly could. It amazes me how fast you make a 4dr side look like a 2 door. You are the man...Dan.
Very nice Dan. I've a 4dr 235 here in South Africa. You make the conversion look so easy. We unfortunately do not have used 2dr door available....and importing it is just too expensive. So I watch you guys...and enjoy it... Keep it up sir!!!
I've been a professional mechanic over 40 years and built quite a few cars in that time, I have to say if you were a bit closer I would not hesitate to buy this car from you and finish it on my channel! But getting it to Florida would probably be a big bundle of money? Of course that's if Milton the Hurricane leaves anything behind when he's gone. He apparently wants his stapler.
My wife's dream car has always been a 57 Chevy. I'm more of a 55 guy myself. But I was telling her that if she wanted to turn the dream into reality... This is the way to go. I old her "Start with a rat rod then go from there" It's all about driving them, not just sitting around looking at them. So if she's rough around the edges the lees afraid you are of driving it. :)
One would think you would have the process figured out by now! 😂. But seriously, you do good work Dan. You inspire me to get up off my arse and butcher stuff and not worry so much about how it all turns out, especially the paint . 😏👍😎
Great job Dan, you make it look and seem so easy! I love how your explanations are simple and easy to understand I love what you do, and your channel is becoming one ofmy favorites!
Dan, Daniel my brother!! Outstanding work! You made that panel fit like a glove. I'm still amazed at how quickly you turn a pile of trash into a decent car. Signed- Your friend, Cancer guy! 😊
After spending the day cutting welding and grinding while replacing a floor a rear body and taillight pockets I am sitting here watching this. I am realizing that cars might be a sickness more than a hobby.
You know--when they put those cars together originally, they were probably worse looking until they had to work their magic just like you do! They just had a lot more money and access to a lot more parts and whatever they needed! I think when you do yours, a little more common sense is used than what they did! For instance---they used a lot of lead whereas you use more weld than they do! I'll bet they have a poo load of fender shims and fender bolts and screws! It looks good! It does take time and patience to convert these cars, and you do fine work---don't let anyone shake your tree! There are always people out there who don't like this or that! Who needs them! Keep up the good work!
Before getting started get original 2 doors with glass chrome trim handles, Get interior quarter panels Does it run drive ? The vin # plates all in your name ? Do you have room to work on it not runner for 4 months ? You got tools grinder drill saw zaw, gloves face shield
I like what you guys do if I had a 4 door I be doing same as you 2 doors are my favorite keep doing what your doing I injoe watching what you do .I work on hotrods Avery day my self I do them the way I Want it to be I have built a lot of cars started when I was 16 years old slowing down now at the young age of 69 still enjoy what I do .keep up the work on your projects .
Barry Gilgen Dan do like Bad Chad does and use close hangers to fill in those big gaps and cracks, instead of welding rod, close hangers are cheap at a goodwill store or many other stores also metal close hangers
Did you see Mortske is selling a 57 Chevy bel air for 500 US ? No motor, no transmission, no floors, no bottom on frame rails, no rear end, some glass, rust everywhere! He does have a lot of 57 Chevy parts.
Excellent work Dan, another junk yard denied! Keep it up and you'll be able to afford those store bought conversion kits courtesy of an eager customer base awaiting your next public offering. Until that point where Chip Foose hands over the crown it's great to hear your insights on fabbercobbling to a tight budget. Love the new digs, it's the shop you guys deserve for all of your dedication that you've shared.
Dont encourage the man./... Weve seen enough bloody two door conversions.. New content needed Dan.Get that Nova in the garage man..Anything but this again.
With 8 x more cars left in Winnipeg, maybe put out a social media post asking for local people to volunteer for a Dan's hot rod towing convoy over a weekend. It would make for a great video and you need your parts and tools before winter. Paying for people's gas is cheaper than you towing 1 car at a time
It amazes me how Dan does everything off hand, he only uses a tape & markers then goes to work with his grinder. I can measure my ass off & still screw things up half the time. LOOKING " MINT " Dan.
I'd sell the yellow car or make a field car and possibly sell the grey guy but Goldie you've gotta keep ! Thats gonna be a Highway Star. Thank-u Dani & Dan. 🙂🍿 Keep the content from the new shop coming. Also when are you guys gonna do the Saturday night live show... that will be cool in the new place, and you need a 70" screen up on the wall, and you can put the word out for get a license plate from all of the viewers so you can plaster a few wall with colorful license plates... just an idea ? Thanks again for the videos. 😎👍
I love this channel. Saving otherwise dead tri-fives, converting them into two doors, and getting them running, driving and reliable. The only thing that irks me; Dan, please treat Danielle better, she is the most valuable thing in your life. Keep up with the great videos.
You are the master of these conversions, Dan!
Dan great job!...
Wow great job guys Dan you are so creative and talented way to make something out of nothing.
The new shop is really nice. Having all the extra room is a game changer. It’s pretty much DDXL Speed Shop.
Practice makes perfect, it's looking great.
Good Job Dan
Dan, lot of work going on looking better all the time gonna be a good runner
Dan you are a great teacher; your knowledge of Tri-Five measurements and obscure facts is amazing. Thanks for sharing. Dani, great camera work!
Looking good kids. Another old ratty 4 door saved from the scrapper. Dan, I think a Wildfire 4 post is the way to go. It is neat how Halfass Brent moves his around. Carry on you two crazy kids!!

Nice work, Dan!! Now it’s a 3-door. One more to go. Cheers!! 😎
Very nice Dan. I've a 4dr 235 here in South Africa.
You make the conversion look so easy.
We unfortunately do not have used 2dr door available....and importing it is just too expensive.
So I watch you guys...and enjoy it...
Keep it up sir!!!
He has a video of making a 2 door, door, out of two doors from a 4 door. Hopefully, I worded that right.
This one went really well. Straight forward clean job.
Came out great ..thanks for the video
It's coming together vary slow Indeed. Keep up the great work.
Dan makes hard work look easy.
with a lot of support from Dani on camera work always love watching.
Dan is the freaking man, love watching his stuff
Great job Dan and thank you Both.
Take care😊
Looking good
Love it, when things come together for you!
I think Dan does a better job converting these into 2 doors than the factory did making 2 doors.
Coming right along.
One would think you would have the process figured out by now! 😂. But seriously, you do good work Dan. You inspire me to get up off my arse and butcher stuff and not worry so much about how it all turns out, especially the paint . 😏👍😎

Dani’s comments and questions are a great add while Dans working.
And her ability to point to where something is that past Dan hid from present Dan.
Dude that shop is awesome, so much room for activities.
Keep these episodes coming ✊✊best channel to learn by watching by far 👍👍🇬🇧
I catch myself closing my eyes and turning my head when you are tack welding. 😂😂😂
Gotta be safe😂
WELL DONE, Dan!
Nice work Dan.
Wow great job man on that you look like you might know what you're doing haha❤❤❤❤❤
All in for $2000 US? A 4 door car in that condition goes for about $7000 here in Southern California!
You make it look easy!

You act like you have done this before Dan! LOL! Good job, nice fit! Golden!
The 2 door conversion master.
Very cool.
❤❤ I love your videos, awesome content😊
There's something soothing about watching Dan 2 door convert a tri five.Hes kind of like the Bob Ross of 2 door convertions,it never gets old for me.
Keep it up!
Aw, at this point I feel sure Dan, without filming time, could 2 door both sides in a weekend. 👌
After spending the day cutting welding and grinding while replacing a floor a rear body and taillight pockets I am sitting here watching this. I am realizing that cars might be a sickness more than a hobby.

Aloha from Texas? I'm sure that should be from Hawaii.
@@clasicradiolover No I moved to Texas 8yrs ago ! 😂😂😂

When I see you in the new shop it feels like it’s maybe a holiday and you’re doing the show from your aunt’s house.

Mortz and Dan needs do a build off only using junkyard parts
I mean on a budget of say 8000 car included
Love the new digs, congratulations! You two are a great team. Keep up the good work great content.
Have you ever considered making a tri-5 el camino?
Like the shirt! Certified!!!

This video was a good one. Dan seems more relaxed after that hellish move.

What a beautiful garage, Alberta guys are so rich.

Enjoy watching the conversions!

NICE 2-door how-2!
Don't forget your skill set Dan.... that's $100/hr. all day long. Never short yourself brother.

You should do a 68-69 Chevelle four-door two-door conversion nobody else has done it
Good job, you could spend a couple of weeks at Morskis Junkyard putting together his piles together for him 😮
Love watching your videos sir can't go wrong with a two door 57
Looks good Dan
What about that 327 in the 57 built never ran
Mortsky has a 57 chevy 4 door and a bunch of parts for sale
A reel of 3D printng it should be done 😂😂 !!!
Excellent work Dan, another junk yard denied! Keep it up and you'll be able to afford those store bought conversion kits courtesy of an eager customer base awaiting your next public offering. It looks like our friend.Mortski has just come into 57 with a bunch of parts. He's looking to sell.I don't know if he's contacted you yet or not
I find myself closing my eyes everytime you weld
You gotta get some colour on the walls. Murals and such.
Maybe the thin strip you cut from the jam will fit at the bottom of the door?
You need to buy Mortske's 57 bel aire donor car. It's right up your alley! You do have more room for more junk after all! 😊
Duff carries that channel
What exactly would Mortske's car donate? The only thing holding it together is the bird droppings.
Dont encourage the man./... Weve seen enough bloody two door conversions.. New content needed Dan.Get that Nova in the garage man..Anything but this again.
Nine ! No . Nyet . Silly Man .😢
You make it look easy looking good.
Body hammer reverser... Perfect!! Haha!!

Best idea in the comment section in 3 years !
Hire a 6 car transporter all on 1 vehicle, one day
I love watching you paint cars. You and Danny are such a cute couple. You got the best channel on TH-cam! Great work!

so cool.
Why don't you bring all your tools, you worked hard to accumulate them just to leave them behind .
Love the 3D printer.
Make a 3 door car, blow everybody’s minds. One side, the four-door the other side, the two door.
Can you show us a budget mini tub in the rear? cut inner fender in half and add a 2,5 inch strip betvine maybe?
Is that the cheap chineesium welder under the miller , or is the the plasma cutter ya got a year or so ago.
On the 2dr welding today, what settings are the welder set at? Thank you
Makes me want to turn my “crew cab” 69 chevelle into a 2 door. Haven’t found any videos on that yet though 🤦🏼♂️
I love this channel. Saving otherwise dead tri-fives, converting them into two doors, and getting them running, driving and reliable. The only thing that irks me; Dan, please treat Danielle better, she is the most valuable thing in your life. Keep up with the great videos.
