If Bokamper picks it off, the Dolphins score a touchdown, take a 10-point lead, and likely win the game. Instead, Theismann plays defense, and swats it out of Bokamper's hands. If he doesn't do that, Washington doesn't win the Super Bowl that year. Great play that nobody talks about

People treat that play like it was a 4th down conversion, it was 1st down. We had momentum in our favor, and the clock would have stopped for an incompletion.

If it were solely based on how impressive plays were, then neither Malcolm Butler's interception or The Tackle would be in the top three and the Kearse/Jones catches would be much higher. The thing about that Bruce Smith sack for a safety is that it *really* should've been a strip sack into a defensive touchdown. Bruce got his hand on Hostetler's *wrist* when Hostetler only had one hand on the ball and he held on, somehow. They get that touchdown and Buffalo might not have had to worry about a kick later.
