just ordered one of these to install myself. Did they use a vacuum pump and gauges to clear the line before releasing the coolant? That's the one thing I am unsure on doing.. lowes reviews show say you need to rent a bunch of equipment to do that. Or did they just hook it all together and release the coolant?
Man I'm trash at responding at comments, but they did clear the lines, the add coolant. They did it correctly far as I know. They had the tools to not just let it spray out and what not.
What size of Hole Saw did you use to get the Line Set, Drain Tube and Communication Wire through the wall?
I didn't do it, but it looks like 1-1/2 or two inch hole.
FYI, romex in conduit is not the right way.

Yeah, it won't make much feedback. I have mine somewhat close to where my mic is, and never a problem. If you hear my new album, 90% was recorded here with that thing blasting penguins.
How much did they charge you for this work and should I look for AC people or electricians?
I paid 1,000 for everything. The unit, supplies needed, and their work.

12x12 right around the size of my room here. And it's working perfectly. I can't complain none.

How did they connect the unit to the power. I’ve connected mine but can’t get the inside unit to work. It came with the grey wire and two sets of line set wires but even after reading and connecting the wires I’m still having issues
What is the btu on that model
Not sure. It's a 1 ton aux. For the size studio I have, it's perfect.
