I prefer mostly plastic as plastic will bash better without bending and it’s cheaper to replace those parts multiple times even compared to upgrading to aluminum. This truck is definitely pricey for what it is though. Great review 👍

The sand is AWESOME until its time to clean or replace parts that have been sand blasted lol. If you get a chance it's 10/10 fun!! 🍻🍻

So far (knock on wood) we've not had to replace anything, and the only broken part is the back bumper which is fine until it's mangled.. 🍻🍻

My servo is already having issues. I’ve ran the truck through a couple batteries. I’ve contacted Traxxas since the onset on day 2 of owning it. And get no help. I’m told I don’t know how to drive the Maxx slash. I’m told, That they’ve driven it extensively and that can’t be the issue. No hey we’ll send you one. Send us a video of your slow servo. The only things they’ll warranty are batteries and chargers. It’s frustrating to spend 700$ and have no warranty what so ever.
I had to buy my own replacement and the bracket to hold it because it’s odd size. I’m not spending 140$ for a Traxxas servo that has the same KG as my scx24. The one in the stock truck is 8kg
