Honestly same. I'm 5'2, but when I came to my school three years ago I was literally the second tallest girl and taller than the majority of the boys. But now I'm one of the shortest girls and I feel offended and triggered whenever someone comes up to me and is like "Oh, oh! Where'd Alicia go? Where is she? I can't see her!" whilst peering over me.

I have clubfoot, it's a congenital deformation, and honestly no one gets it. People say things to me like "Oh just walk it off" or "I'm sure the pain isn't that bad" like really, you have the audacity to say that.
I'm surprised they didn't go over the armrest problem, or the fact that tall people feel a constant need to pick us up. Those are daily experiences for me.

Ppl always asumed that I don't concentrate enough at them. My mother especially. I didn't even know what lazy eye was, I though that I do something wrong with my eyes and that I'm not trying enough. I was like 16 till I read about it somewhere... She only told me "correct it!" and I though that when I blink it will be ok. I didn't watch myself in a mirror 24/7 so I didn't know it was a permanent medical problem. I honestly though for so long that she was right and it was something occuring to all people when they don't concentrate. I was like 20 when I found out that she is blind in one eye :o. Other people almost never talk about it and since I wear glasses I also get stuff like: "I would never notice!" or "It doesn't look like you have lazy eye" but IT IS VISIBLE and you can tell that they KNOW because in reality they say: "The frames partially hide your lazy eye and also glasses are enough of distraction so I don't have to think about that lazy eye all the time I'm looking at you"

I'm an 18 year old guy who stands at a *WHOPPING*... 5'3 😂And yes, my growth has stopped. Completely. And yes, I'm sure. Everything about me is petite from my stature to my face structure which makes me look like a literal child. The other day I was almost stopped from buying an energy drink until I gave them my ID and I hadn't even made it to the till with it yet. It was so embarrassing! I was waiting in line and the woman at the till called me out in front of the entire queue saying "I won't be able to serve you that." in a really snobby voice like she was talking to some edgy 14 year old like wait a minute petal I've not got my ID out yet! I always get things like "what's the weather like down there?" and "Oh my god you're sooooooooooooooooo cute!!1!!11!" (Usually from girls). It can get very annoying but sometimes it's not so bad because I can use it to my advantage in certain situations... like getting a child's bus fare (that shit expensive) 😂😂😂

As a fellow short person, I really can empathize with a lot of the stuff on the video! A lot of people say "Oh.. You are so cute!" "You are so adorable!" And then attempt to cuddle me. Even when people close to me do that, I'd rather they don't! And please don't ask whether I shop in the kid's section. Are you going to buy me clothes?!
Or when you go to a restaurant and get a kids menu even though you're a teen. It makes me pissed whenever that happens. Back when I was 13, I scribbled "F*** you" on the kids menu and left it on the table.

IIFačełessII ĶÎĐ we don't have many advantages at all. We have trouble reaching things and we have shorter legs so we walk slower. We have to adjust the seat in the car to see over the wheel and to reach the pedals, can't see anything with people in front of you, etc

I was never so insulted by someone calling me short as when my mother in law started acting like it was a horrible state that my Mom caused by not feeding me or taking care of me properly. She was constantly trying to find out why I am so short just not accepting that being short is a family trait. Heck she even began thinking that perhaps how my family took care of me created my shortness and was what began causing my epilepsy. (Seizures) I didn’t like her before, but after insulting my family so hard I hate her. And that doesn’t end there. She even began trying to get me to get off my medication and try more natural stuff, and not the weird apparently fun stuff. She’s insane.

I'm 5' even and I've been told that while I am petite for my age, my weight is actually a healthy weight for my height and age. But luckily I have friends near my height (5'2" and 5'4") and I'm the second shortest in my year (the shortest girl is just past my shoulders) so it's fun joking about short people problems with them. Me and the shortest girl were on a swimming group for school issued classes together and we had to jump into the deep end and we just looked at each other and I just whispered to her "this won't be fun for us" and we both just laughed. Me and some other short people had to hang onto the wall there and messed about trying to stand. I've also learned don't go to the deep end with friends if you're short. They will try to drown you. But I have heard funny short jokes from tall people. We did driving in school and I pulled the seat right up to reach the pedals and my crush jokingly said "if you get any further away you'll be out of the car" and I cracked up. But it's fun on planes and in cars with what to tall people is no leg room because a mile of room for the legs. Which is why I'm the boot girl in a 7 seater, I'm the only one who's comfy. I'm an 18 year old guy who stands at a *WHOPPING*... 5'3 😂And yes, my growth has stopped. Completely. And yes, I'm sure. Everything about me is petite from my stature to my face structure which makes me look like a literal child. The other day I was almost stopped from buying an energy drink until I gave them my ID and I hadn't even made it to the till with it yet. It was so embarrassing! I was waiting in line and the woman at the till called me out in front of the entire queue saying "I won't be able to serve you that." in a really snobby voice like she was talking to some edgy 14 year old like wait a minute petal I've not got my ID out yet! I always get things like "what's the weather like down there?" and "Oh my god you're sooooooooooooooooo cute!!1!!11!" (Usually from girls). It can get very annoying but sometimes it's not so bad because I can use it to my advantage in certain situations... like getting a child's bus fare (that shit expensive) 😂😂😂

I was never so insulted by someone calling me short as when my mother in law started acting like it was a horrible state that my Mom caused by not feeding me or taking care of me properly.
She was constantly trying to find out why I am so short just not accepting that being short is a family trait.
Heck she even began thinking that perhaps how my family took care of me created my shortness and was what began causing my epilepsy. (Seizures)
I didn’t like her before, but after insulting my family so hard I hate her. And that doesn’t end there. She even began trying to get me to get off my medication and try more natural stuff, and not the weird apparently fun stuff. She’s insane.

I'm 5' even and I've been told that while I am petite for my age, my weight is actually a healthy weight for my height and age. But luckily I have friends near my height (5'2" and 5'4") and I'm the second shortest in my year (the shortest girl is just past my shoulders) so it's fun joking about short people problems with them. Me and the shortest girl were on a swimming group for school issued classes together and we had to jump into the deep end and we just looked at each other and I just whispered to her "this won't be fun for us" and we both just laughed. Me and some other short people had to hang onto the wall there and messed about trying to stand. I've also learned don't go to the deep end with friends if you're short. They will try to drown you. But I have heard funny short jokes from tall people. We did driving in school and I pulled the seat right up to reach the pedals and my crush jokingly said "if you get any further away you'll be out of the car" and I cracked up. But it's fun on planes and in cars with what to tall people is no leg room because a mile of room for the legs. Which is why I'm the boot girl in a 7 seater, I'm the only one who's comfy. Along with Leanne who's 5'5"
