Great video as was your previous contract video. One small criticism though is your audio levels seem to be a bit inconsistent, (maybe due to the handheld mic?) which was much better in the BGT video. Keep up the good work!

Dude, chill. It’s just constructive criticism, they’re not trying to be mean.
Actually, it is about the audio level. If you have an important point to make, then it's important to make it as clearly and concisely as possible. Getting your mic levels sorted out is one of the easiest things to take care of as an aspiring TH-camr, and it just baffles me that someone who seems to be doing pretty well on TH-cam could still make such a rookie mistake.
As someone who clearly likes to talk with his hands, I don't know why he thought 'a handheld mic would be a good creative choice for this' and that's why we get a lot of audio fluctuation, requiring you to often strain to hear what he's even saying.
It's a valid critique and it doesn't insult nor take away from the content. Presentation does matter and that's a fact.
I did media law at college and it's good that you're exposing the unethical aspects of the contracts these shows. I covered defamation, contempt of court, privacy and copyright. I'm actually a journalist and writer doing a book about the south London music scene, so I need to do things like release forms and edit stuff out of transcripts for privacy and the fact I don't want to be sued for libel by Lias from Fat White Family.

Great video. Maybe you could do one on The Voice Czech Republic too! My partner just walked away from the audition and took with her the other 20 people that were there too. These are all people that The Voice phoned and asked to come and audition for the show btw. If you sign you can’t work until the show finishes in June 2020! You agree that for the next 50 YEARS they can call on you to do a performance at any time. If you are sick and can’t perform, they fine you 50000czc. PER DAY! Oh and for the duration of the show you don’t get paid a single penny.
What is 50k czc equivalent to in Euros?

I know somebody who was asked to go on the voice. Their dad is a controversial celebrity and they weren’t interested at all.
This is all so interesting. I would love to know the differences in contracts between UK based shows and US ones... So hopefully someone will hear you out and send you the contracts from the US.
But it´s really strange how ridiculous these documents are - and nobody bats an eye... Like... Everybody knows that in reality 90 per cent of people signing to do these shows does NOT read the contract yet no one tries to hold the companies (Syco or whoever else) responsible by how they essentially use that naiveté over and over again. It´s sickening. People either sign it and can´t talk about anything anymore OR plainly just don´t know about what´s written in there because it doesn´t concern them. It should be a more accessible public knowledge. Thank you for trying to change that.

If they recruit you, which they do even though they advertise “open auditions,” they literally require you to sign it before you audition
In the video he did say that even if you sign the contract and don’t do the audition, you’re still bound to it. These are expected to be signed before the audition.

God dammit, I wanted on voice UK to see will.i.am. But if this is true (which I'm 99.99% sure it is), then do I risk the rest of my life to sing a black eyed peas song in the hope that he turns? Probably
Mess Music! I understand everything you said about AGT, BGT, etc. To defend You Tube and other professionals people that have previously set contracts that would supercede all contracts there after. Example, I'm sure, Glennis Grace'''s lawyers and agents, and/ or " You Tubes Lawyer's were already on this subject. I guarantee that " You Tube" wasn't going to let "AGT" have say so of their original ownership and contracts with their clients. THEREFORE, a whole other negotiations that took place not expose to the public had taken place! I could almost guarantee that "YOU TUBE" and other's won their case and a whole new contract was implemented and given to AGT & BGT which they had to agree to in order to get what they wanted for their show! There you have it?

I stopped watching X Factor and The Voice UK years ago. It's basically the same thing every year for these talent shows, they always have the same reactions - nothing new. I got bored watching the same thing over and over again. These shows have basically died now already in my opinion
