Watching this process never gets old. Thankful to own a Gus Villa piece and im super appreciative of the work and effort yall put in! Looking to upgrade in the near future!!! Love you guys forreal!!!!!!
Awesome!!! 24 karat gold too! It's like wearing gold bullion on your neck! I bought my gold chain recently by the way! Now I aim for the "miami figaro" chains that you guys make! Once I save up the moolah I will call you guys!
WOW….. that is unbelievable… I really enjoyed watching that. Absolute quality. 24ct as well.. upvoted and I’ll be back to it watch another one sometime soon.. Thanks guys
@12:45 in video you talk about putting a "curve" into the chain. Does that mean that your chains can only be worn in one direction on your neck? So if you put your chains on the wrong way, it will look kinked?
There were some gold egeals melted in there from the beginning. Gold egales have: American Gold Eagle coins are 22 karat gold, which is 91.67% pure gold, and are made up of 91.67% gold, 3% silver, and 5.33% copper.
Anybody know the labor on something like this? Even though they acted like they were having a hard time this was actually easier to work on than a half kilo 10k piece because it's softer and there's far less links and soldering involved.
Go at least 14karat, its over half Gold. 9& 10karat is less Gold than other metal(alloy). 18k is perfect for jewellery, just my opinion. it have 75% Gold in and it looks good, a little heavyer than 14k but i Think its the best, even if i know very good goldchains of 21karat,22karat and 23,2karat(thai baht chains, stamped 965 or 96,5%) or the “Rolls Royce” of jewellery 24karat 999,9 finegold.
Do you do 990 Gold? It’s a 24k-hallmarked gold alloyed with 1% titanium-developed by InterGold (International Gold Corp. Ltd.) and Degussa (Wolfgang Research Laboratories) back in 1989. This proprietary 24k gold alloy can be treated to the hardness property of 18k gold.
This Florida I have a CCW and it's not even required to have a permit to carry anymore. I'd have my vest on My FNX 45 Tac and my FN 5.7 and I'd rock that 24K Cuban like the beauty she is with a BIG ass smile on my face! 😁
2.3 tons of 24 karat gold is roughly $60 dollars a gram. At $190,000 for the chain you paid $83 dollars a gram. With labor and the fact I’m buying 2.3 tons at a time, I wouldn’t pay more than 140k
The people who dont know how to make jewelry are impress by this but this big chains are like doing construction work this is not fine work in jewelry neither you dont really need to be skillfull to do it , is an ilusion , make a video of doing a 3mm or 2mm cuban link chain by hand to see if you can pull that off , not this stupid construction work jobs huge chains .
Too many dangerous and primitive techniques and not enough technology. Chinese engineering is much safer and much better, firstly because they use real technology to manufacture things like jewelry, like computers and lasers. But nice chain.
I don't understand why you twist it and then twist it by hand so that you claim the links aren't as spaced out but then you run it through the rolling mill anyway to flaten and space them out makes no sense. Also i really think you should have made it hang straight instead of making up excuses of it needing to twist to lay flat on the neck.. Guaranteed the owner will never wear it and will stack it in his vault because he needed to get rid of $100k cash quickly
oh hey! it's my chain! thanks so much, Gus and team, for making this happen
bro where did you get 200k to throw on this beautiful monster

This is such good publicity. Makes me want to buy a chain from you lol. Nice work man
Awesome, hard work, those workers are real artisans.
Dam GUS…. KILLIN THE GAME PAPA
Great video thanks, but how often are you sweeping and vacuuming and how much gold dust is created? My mind boggles.....
The copper mandrel is almost oval shaped. Very interesting.
So how much to make a 24 inch 14k 10mm with around 130-150 grams ?
Great video. Really enjoyed this
length? Width?
Amazing work...i will definitely get a chain from Gus soon 🙌🏽
Great video.
Thanks for sharing.

3 Cubans died making this chain. Unreal
😂 bro...
Videos like this is why I ordered a bracelet ... check size and how it feels to daily it and then gold. Thanks👍

No clasp absolutely the smartest way to go especially with something this big and expensive. Imagine the clasp breaking open losing that !!
Nice 👍
Here's me with my 9ct gold curb chain. It's durable. No scratches.

I feel like I'm watching Joey Diaz Make a Cuban link.

My dream piece is ...14mm 10k solid yellow gold Miami cuban links bracelet..
Did the chain pinch his finger? 11:56
Blood, sweat and tears of joy.
I want a rough draft chain 😂 don’t polish it I like when it’s dull
do you guys have any promo codes for your web site im trying to buy a miami cuban set 💪🏻
This is cool Af
What do you use for removing the shellac? I tried denatured alcohol and it just didn't work well enough.
Can you do 18k Rose gold? 18mm 26 inch?
Yes they can
Do you ever eat the gold?
It's Art 🎨🖼🪙⛓
Talking in grams like the rest of the world. I like that about the jewelry business.
is it suppose to have so many scratches on it?
Do 2.3kg of 999 platinum next
A neck breaker 😂😂😂
it certainly took some getting used to, but if you're mindful about your posture there's no problem
thats insane pure 24k, gotta scratch a llot doue
Investment you can wear
? 70,000.00 in gold turn into a 200,000$ necklace
Brother that's $165,473.95 in raw metal so about $25k for labor. It's 2.34 kilograms of gold not 2.34 pounds
11:57... was the chain still hot? or did you pinch a finger
Whats funny is that "mandrel" we cant show you how to make it, pretty sure its type k copper tubing hit with a hammer to flatten a little.
Yeah lol
I think a chain goss bad ehen its twisted snd flattend cos them it looks 2 times the weight 2 times thr size sxcetra
The 2 things I love more then women are Gun's and Gold. G&G
What kind of monster 👹 orders a Miami Cuban link 🔗 with no lockbox 😂🤣
Not the biggest tho!! 4 kilo Blue working with. Nice work regardless
24k too soft for me I can see them scratches on video I’ll stick to 14 and 18k
Okay so it's a kilo of gold how is it 10k when a kilo of gold is 85,000? 🤔🤔🤔
That could not have been 24kt gold 24kt gold is way easier to bend
Harlem bling could never
Beautifully made but who will wear something this huge?
who has two thumbs and wears this chain? this guy 👍👍

i bet special ed can do the same at his factory in Guangzhou Italy
Bet that Cuban won’t roll like my 6mm does lol 🙄
I just don't think I want to work 5 pounds around my neck just for looks
If he needs a quick $2000, he can just sell a link. Like wearing a savings account with a much much better return!
It's a 10K gold chain? It's kind of weak ain't it
24k under 24 hours. 😂
🤯👍
Melothedj new chain
24ct is too damn soft
it would be too dangerous to wear outside. lol
You should get a surface grinder and save your selves hours of hand filing.
or they could get an Italian ice lathe like real chain makers
🤠😍
Not only are gloves much more dangerous with any rotary machine. They also cause us to use 30percent more effort for fine tasks like that.

Chinese make exquisite replicas from nearly all major watch brand but WILL NEVER replicate a handmade Miami cuban link chain. Enjoy your knock offs.
