      How did it affect the handling of the Z? Should have made it feel a touch stiffer as you're lower to the ground now. Any rubbing on the inner tires as well (full lock to full lock)? Looks sick bud. The Z is coming along nicely. Now about your C6Z.... 😅

    Some advice from a GM tech here. The wires for the shocks definitely have to go back in their respective locations in the connector for proper shock operation.. now if they are put in wrong is it something you can feel I don’t know haha.
    No power tools should ever be used on that top nut to diassemble the shock, those wires run all the way down inside the unit and even the slightest twist or turn can/will cause the shock to fail or fail prematurely. If it doesn’t spin with the power tool then I guess youre okay but I wouldn’t chance it on a shock with a 1-2k price tag.
    There’s a recommended GM scan tool bleeding procedure for the front suspension lift pump. They are a pain to bleed properly sometimes and I’ve also had some units fail because they weren’t bled properly from the factory. A gravity bleed can work but you may have to cycle and let the suspension settle between bleeds.
    Just my 02 cents haha.

    I purchased lowering collars for my c8 with front lift, and honestly I’m hesitant to have them installed due to all of the reviews I hear about them causing issues and voiding the warranty. At 13:00, I noticed a height sensor with stock links. I wonder if the links were adjustable, would that trick the sensor into believing the car is at stock height and not lowered. I only say this because I have a vehicle with adjustable links on it, because I adjusted the height. @Paragon Performance, we need adjustable links to stop the front lift issues when lowering our c8s with your collars.

    Great video, the car looks great!
    Was there a GM service bulletin specifically for the paragon shock collars causing issues with the lift system calibration/functionality?
    There are youtube videos discussing stingray front lifts not working after lowering collars were installed.

    • @HorsePowerObsessed
      @HorsePowerObsessed  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There wasn't a service bulletin but if installed incorrectly they can cause issues with the front end lift. The lift is very picky about alignment that's why Korey spent so much time talking about how important it is to make sure things are put back in a specific order and to watch for binding, etc.

    • @ParagonPerformance
      @ParagonPerformance ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great questions. The suspension warranty will be voided with any lowering collar not just ours.
      There is one specific video where the owner drove 8000+ Miles on our front lift collars THEN had an issue which shows that it's not our part failing but the hydraulic pump itself.
      As Justin mentioned, the install has to be done properly for the components to align correctly. Hope this answered your questions,

    The 20mm looks too aggressive compared to an un-widened stock front. The front wheels actually aren't aggressive enough. For perfect fitment, the fronts should be widened about 7-8mm and the rear about 17-18. Just doing the back without the fronts does indeed make the rear look too aggressive with 20mm.

      Agreed. The fronts are just about perfect stock. I would say 8mm would be perfectly flush like you said and then 18mm in the rear but that's going to be hard to find.

    I actually like the 20mm spacer better and you don’t have to butcher the studs. No brained.

    Those wheel spacers are too big for the carbon ceramic brakes, they do not fit inside the lip of the rotor, you should remove them asap and replace with spacers that are made for the ccb brakes, like the Vetteproinc ones, look at their website, you are riding with a gap between the spacer and the lugnut, the only contact is the thin lip maybe not more than 1 mm, i am speaking up for your safety, your wheel can fall off due to the stress on the spacer, they can crack , spacer need to be laying flat onto the brakedisk, 100% contact and not 1% when only touching the thin outer lip of the rotor, please check with Paragon and explain, be safe brother

      I never had any issues with them while installed but I have heard of the problem you're describing. I don't have the spacers on my car anymore but if I did, I would wait for the updated version from Paragon that will address that issue.

      @ you are big on you tube with many followers, the right thing to do is take down the video or explain the danger of using these on ccb brakes, safety first brother!

    You must be an electrician or a pipe welder or Union plumber. I don't know if any other type of trade that's going to pay you the kind of money to buy these expensive toys

    This video is very mislead, you guys did not once show or mentioned bleeding the front suspension.

      That’s because you don’t have to. All you have to do is put the front end up and down a few times the air bubbles work themselves out.
