Loved it. Entire season was fire. RIP to Vic. Really liked his character, didn't expect to see him die off that way especially by the man himself but y'all brought it to light why he had to go. Was messed up. Above all I think the show is emmy status.
I feel conflicted about the killing of Viktor because penguin already loved Vic like family too so if he could kill him now at this point I feel like he could’ve still done it down the road. On top of that Rex a man who he looked up to stated that loyalty in that line of work is hard to find and necessary. So I just don’t feel like with all the build up they had in making Viktor’s character was all for nothing cause Oz knows that in that line of work you lose people so I think he would’ve been hurt but also been fine if something were to happen to vik like he was when he killed him in this episode. Basically I’m saying whether he killed him himself now or he died at the hands of someone else it would’ve affected him the same as he already lived him like family.
I would've been mad if Oz DIDN'T kill Vic. the beginning of episode 4 when his lies were exposed in front of Sofia, I realized he was capable of anything and I knew he would bury Vic if he hindered him or if it helped him get ahead. That's how the Penguin should be. Sociopathic. THAT'S what made the show so compelling to me. That even though you root for him and he's charismatic, and he seems to have goodness in him.. it's all an act. He's an evil monster to the core.
They completely forgot that the mother asked Penguin to put her down cause she didn't want to live as a vegetable. That's why the last scene was so twisted but Rttv didn't even notice or acknowledge it
And remember, his mom told him if her mind goes before her body, to put her out of her misery, instead, he keeps her in it. Sigh😢 Graciela literally told him nothing good could come from working with a guy like Oz, too. And remember when Oz first met Vic too, he told him he would keep him alive, "for now". He just kept gassing Vic up about it's all about them and history would be kind to them etc, and the sad part about it is, Vic had the chance to leave and came back. His death hit me in a way I never felt for any character on any show. You knew it was coming and it still hurt 😭
In the end, it shows that Oz may have had some humanizing moments throughout the show. But ultimately, he was and always will be the villain of the story and one of Batman's greatest enemies
Bro, how could you say that he killed Vic because "he cared too much about family"? The man killed his brothers to be ma's favourite, he gaslighted her mom about it even when she was going to lose her finger and profaned her last wish leving her in vegetative state alive only to keep feeding his ego, and killed Vic like he was nothing. He only cares about himself

This is better than Marvels *Dare Devil* , they didn't have the balls to make King Pin as a True villain like DC Penguin! 10/10! Btw the next TV series confirmed is *The Joker* to help set up the finala *"The Batman: III Finale"*
S3 Kingpin is definitely a true villain, killing children to make sure their parents are indebted to him, canceling a cancer patient’s health insurance, and murdering an innocent woman to ensure a psychotic man he was molding into an attack dog had no positive influences in his life. Kingpin was a monster with genuine humanizing moments… but Penguin turned out was entirely façade, extra monstrous.
I’m going to be honest: I personally didn’t like the first Batman movie; it was mid, 6.5/10. It was way too long and just didn’t grab my attention. On the other hand, this Penguin series was a 10/10 for me. My hot take: Colin Farrell is the Heath Ledger of Penguin, meaning he can’t be replaced. He brought the Penguin to life; I don’t see anybody else topping that performance. Hopefully, he wins an award. I genuinely feel like this was a Christopher Nolan-type of villain; how strategic and clever he made Penguin made me look at him in a different light. It's the same way I felt about Heath’s Joker; cartoon animation made you feel like their villains were dumb, but live action made you appreciate the villains on a different level. Honestly, with Matt Reeves' style of having realism like Nolan's, I think he should stay away from certain villains like Clayface, Mr. Freeze, Killer Croc, and Poison Ivy. If they were to make a Penguin Season 2 or Batman 2, I could see them tying in the Harvey Dent/Two-Face storyline with Penguin pushing for city council. I could also see a storyline for that being a subplot or its own thing. Court of Owls is something I could see them pulling off as well-pretty much any villains that aren’t centered around superpowers. I say that to say I’m excited for the upcoming Batman projects. I do think Joker is destined to fail; I don’t see anybody outdoing Heath’s performance. He set the bar too high.
I Disagree on it being mid I think the Batman movie was a phenomenal movie 10/10 imo Paul dano as the riddler was my favorite parts of the movie I think his riddler is way better then Jim Carrey riddler and Colin Farrell penguin was amazing in the movie too the penguin series is a 10/10 too Since Matt reeves said he want to keep his universe grounded and add some unrealistic stuff not much though I think he can pull off Mr freeze in a sorta realistic manner
@ riddler casting was perfect casting in general wasEnt my issue at all it just Dident immerse me into the world like the penguin series did . The dark knight series was goated but I will admit the first one was mid I say that to say this I’m not expecting the next two films to surpass the dark knight series as long as it feel like a true succcesor that’s more then enough after watching this penguin series it restored my faith it Matt revees. Let me ask you this since Matt and Nolan style is simlar how did you feel about how Nolan handle bane personally I loved it but I did wish he went for more comic accurate steroid lore the reason I’m saying this because you brought freeze if he took away comic accurate mister freeze some people may feel he ruined his character and other may feel like he Dident suit what reeves is going for . Personally I feel like black mask , death stroke , court of owls , scare crow ,Harvey dent , dead shot , ra’s Al ghul would all be safer picks . Joker inevitable but I do feel like that role in particular is destined to fail because ur going to be held to unrealistic standard based on Heath preformance
24:33 i dont think he wouldve killed him, because penguin always talked about future plams with Viktor. He even said that people would talk about them in the future. It was the heat of recent events and Viktor's stupid mouth.
I totally did not expect this kind of ending for Vic. I consider that he was not going to continue with the penguin, but I thought that he would have left Gotham and hook back up with his girl with some money that he’s been making or grab while he was doing the stuff he was doing with the penguin. it would just been Vic without warning or telling oz that he was no longer going to be there for him because he was fed up with it all just did not show up but Oz depose of Vic like trash ( bet alcohol bottle had drug in it) and to take the bit change he had from his wallet was the nail and discard his ID so there can be no connection back with him (everyone knew Vic was his side kick) But like reality. Vic got into it too deep and stayed longer than he should. Vic was the only one to tie him to all those crime, Oz got a clean slate and a new lifestyle that Vic would not fit into. Goons are a dime a dozen and easily deposable.
He killed Vic because he would’ve became the new Oz and killed him like the other deputies. Knowing a lot about Oz and Oz caring about him is the weakness.
I think he never really cared about his mom, and brother, or families. He killed victor just because he thought that he already got everything, and had no use of him anymore.
Bro this was not on Sopranos level AT ALL lol like it’s like the difference between MJ and Scottie Pippen. Both are HoFs but there’s levels. You all should watch Sopranos and you’ll see the difference
In reality, the intention was not that he would at least not be an anitheroe, but rather the rival dingo villain that the series and the Batman... Oz universe deserve. And seriously, even Vic deserves justice. And Oz's mother too.
To remind you that penguin is actually a villain, we got used to wanting penguin to win in this show and we started liking him so they had to remind us this dude is a straight up villain who will kill and do wtv it takes to make it to the top
Because he was too like-able, and Penguin killing him solidified him as a vile human with Zero redemption. It creates a juxtaposition for Batman being the a symbol of morality and Penguin being the epitome of immorality. Now when Joker appears he’ll be a worse the Penguin, which is extremely disturbing.
Killing vic off is so forced bruh... It's like they had no other way to make him dislikeable? It feels so out of character for penguin to kill off vic like that man, he has shown vic genuine affection several times. Really feels like they just did it out of the blue so we had a reason to hate the penguin for the batman 2, so corny bruh. oh well.. episode 1-7 was great, this episode was trash.
List of evil things the Penguin has done in this series alone: Left his brothers to die willingly and hid it from his mother, murdered dozens of people to get what he wants, turned Sophia into a scapegoat, burned a rival gang leader and her son alive when he could've just shot them, didn't warn his own people about the car bomb and saved himself, broke his promise to his already ill mother to euthanise her and instead has trapped her in her own body, has weird incestuous fantasies with his own mother, refused to own up to his own mistakes even when it would spare his mother from torture (she already knew and he knows this), he had 100% intended to kill Vic when he first met him when hiding Alberto Falcone's body, sent Sophia back to Arkham when it was clear this was the last place she ever wanted to go back to, is a hypocrite about his ideology of being "the guy looked up to", etc. You fell for Oz's lies and manipulations that get people to like him by him painting himself in a better light than he actually is. He's always been a monster.

I can't believe he's gone, but Oz let Eve live who's now dressed as his ma 🤦🏻♂️ Even his mom is trapped in her own body while looking at that view she always wanted. This series was tremendous and I really want to see what this Batman sequel will bring and how it will tie things together.
amazing reaction guys!! The Batman universe is OP
This is the potential that Dc has for their projects bc their stories are superior and so are the characters
Give HBO all the Awards. Best show of the year. Bravo DC Studios and Matt Reeves
Matt reeves also did cape crusader
Btw, the Sequel's villain is not confirmed at all. We've only gotten rumors, but everything has been shut down
I’m disappointed they haven’t even started filming yet when it’s been 3 years near
@@Oakland510that’s the best move possible, it was originally supposed to come out October of next year and now it’s 2026. push your movie a year back and take your time writing it so it can all be cohesive and make sense. Why rush something out, the first movie was like a perfect film. They start filming in like February or march I believe
Joelle: he's Dominican!!! The way I laughed at this statement.
Loved it. Entire season was fire. RIP to Vic. Really liked his character, didn't expect to see him die off that way especially by the man himself but y'all brought it to light why he had to go. Was messed up. Above all I think the show is emmy status.
Way better than Shogun
Selina is going to break her out LMFAO
Exactly. Like it’s telegraphed but in the best way
I feel conflicted about the killing of Viktor because penguin already loved Vic like family too so if he could kill him now at this point I feel like he could’ve still done it down the road.
13:11 no chance they were allowed in without being searched. And yes they got away because like all nearly all villains she was playing with her food.
That's why the last scene was so twisted but Rttv didn't even notice or acknowledge it
And that tear wasn’t because she was happy about the view. I’m surprised even Evan and Wellz missed it as normally they are on point.
Oz the. Best villian I ever seen but he ant nothing but uh wannabe Rex, he killed Vick he wouldn't of won the game without Vick💯
For sure he acknowledge that right before he killed Vic
@@normanosborn8346surviving is winning. Sad
And remember, his mom told him if her mind goes before her body, to put her out of her misery, instead, he keeps her in it. Sigh😢
Graciela literally told him nothing good could come from working with a guy like Oz, too.
My man Vic don’t deserve this he was a good dude 💯🕊
Quick somebody take Vic to the Lazarus pit we still got time 😂😂😂
Need more of this villian and not anti heroe
Now i need a red hood series
Killing Vic was WAY too far ngl OFN this a different breed somebody call the bat for this parasite 😂 was gone let his mom get tortured… WILD
Penguin is a bad bad man. Someone you do not want as an enemy or as a friend.
@ AT ALL
He can’t even go by street code. Killing family members after looking Sal in the eyes, and then snitching to the cops 💀
He's a villain, what were you expecting? A bromance comedy?
@cavpal I was expecting his bitch ass to die I never liked him
Too bad he’s the protagonist
In the end, it shows that Oz may have had some humanizing moments throughout the show. But ultimately, he was and always will be the villain of the story and one of Batman's greatest enemies
Then he had the nerve to go throw my dawg pockets that shit had me hot bro
Can y'all please stop talking over important dialog. It's like Rob can't handle silence for too long 🤣
Hit or miss with him. He can go silent for an episode as well
Sofia gets a W breaking Francis and ruining Oz’ moment to make her proud. Long game fellas
Vic would've lived if he didn't say "family". That word triggered Penguin, his face changed and he says "f*ck" cause he realized Vic gotta go
Bro, how could you say that he killed Vic because "he cared too much about family"? The man killed his brothers to be ma's favourite, he gaslighted her mom about it even when she was going to lose her finger and profaned her last wish leving her in vegetative state alive only to keep feeding his ego, and killed Vic like he was nothing. He only cares about himself
pls, Pls, PLs, PLSS, PLSSSSSSSSSSSS PUT THE INTRO IN THE BEGINNING
Bro she’s not a villain she’s trying to get revenge for her brother that’s it I think y’all are misunderstanding what they tryna do with her character
Was assassinating her family.. leaving her niece an orphan.. creating a massive crater and killing all those people all for her brother? I think you’re the one that doesn’t understand …
@@intothefrayyo It was revenge for her. She hasnt gone after anyone who hasnt done her wrong. Penguin kills anyone

This is better than Marvels *Dare Devil* , they didn't have the balls to make King Pin as a True villain like DC Penguin! 10/10! Btw the next TV series confirmed is *The Joker* to help set up the finala *"The Batman: III Finale"*
The joker tv is fake News.
I Disagree on it being mid I think the Batman movie was a phenomenal movie 10/10 imo Paul dano as the riddler was my favorite parts of the movie I think his riddler is way better then Jim Carrey
riddler and Colin Farrell penguin was amazing in the movie too the penguin series is a 10/10 too
Since Matt reeves said he want to keep his universe grounded and add some unrealistic stuff not much though I think he can pull off Mr freeze in a sorta realistic manner
You’ve got some sense for sure mate. 🐧 > The Batman
24:33 i dont think he wouldve killed him, because penguin always talked about future plams with Viktor. He even said that people would talk about them in the future. It was the heat of recent events and Viktor's stupid mouth.
you guys talked over the whole episode
Yall predictions are too on point. Some of yall cheated, heard rumors or something
Even at the last moment vic was saying "am sorry" 😞😞 this is sad
Rob needs to lick his lips
He killed Vic because he would’ve became the new Oz and killed him like the other deputies. Knowing a lot about Oz and Oz caring about him is the weakness.
It technically was Salvitores operation loo For however short amount of time it was😂
The Batman light came on when he killed vic you know that was fucked up
What your expected?! He is fucking villain, criminal....
I think he never really cared about his mom, and brother, or families.
He killed victor just because he thought that he already got everything, and had no use of him anymore.
Man I ca t believe they did my boy Vic like that rip
imagine if Vic carjacked Bruce Wayne's car instead
He would've been Robin😂
Also she got too emotional which is why she lost otherwise she would have caught him just as easily as that time they were about to wire his arm
They actually considering giving the Joker his own series and it'll start in production same time as The Batman 2
Apparently James Gunn shut down those rumors but he could be capping to misdirect people
Dominicans keep taking L’s thinking a man like Oz is your friend
This video gave my dog a stroke. I wish I was joking... 1 like = 1 prayer
Bro this was not on Sopranos level AT ALL lol like it’s like the difference between MJ and Scottie Pippen. Both are HoFs but there’s levels. You all should watch Sopranos and you’ll see the difference
I think this show is outstanding and still no where close to Sopranos. I do not see the comparisons. Gangsters have parents that ain’t new.
Good I’m not the only one 🙌🏾
IM SO MAD WHERES BATMAN
In reality, the intention was not that he would at least not be an anitheroe, but rather the rival dingo villain that the series and the Batman... Oz universe deserve. And seriously, even Vic deserves justice. And Oz's mother too.
Vic 😢
Came here because I knew these reactors would be among the only ones who cheered on Oz killing Vic. Surprised that Rob wasn't more excited though.
why they kill Vic bro he was the only likeable person
Hope he somehow comes out
Alive 😔 in The Batman 2
Because this a gangster show where only the powerful and ruthless people survives.
To remind you that penguin is actually a villain, we got used to wanting penguin to win in this show and we started liking him so they had to remind us this dude is a straight up villain who will kill and do wtv it takes to make it to the top
@@TheKnight886definitely won’t be
Because he was too like-able, and Penguin killing him solidified him as a vile human with Zero redemption. It creates a juxtaposition for Batman being the a symbol of morality and Penguin being the epitome of immorality. Now when Joker appears he’ll be a worse the Penguin, which is extremely disturbing.
Show is good but seens very over hyped by most people 😭(including rttv)

Killing vic off is so forced bruh... It's like they had no other way to make him dislikeable?
It feels so out of character for penguin to kill off vic like that man, he has shown vic genuine affection several times.
Really feels like they just did it out of the blue so we had a reason to hate the penguin for the batman 2, so corny bruh. oh well.. episode 1-7 was great, this episode was trash.
Out of character? He killed his own brothers, who is Victor to him?
Nigga you need to read the penguin comics this is not out of character at all from him 😂
@@Lucascabronfor real, that dude just don’t get it.
Bruh the Penguin is a villain how is that out of character for him lol
