I had an issue: when I went to File --> New --> Sequence, tab settings, I couldn't edit Frame size, in order to be able to edit it, in the first setting from "Settings" panel, called "Editing Mode" select custom and you will be able to edit it. In the export settings, if you mess around with the bitrate around the 4:23 mark you can adjust your file size. It's handy if you're on a slower or metered connection when uploading. Going as low as 2-3mbps _should_ look ok. It's subjective and also, TikTok likely compresses it further but I can't find any concrete answer on that. Cheers!

I never knew you could do it like this, which is really cool! The way I've always done it is to click on "Effect Controls", click on "Motion" CTRL-C, select all your clips that need to be upsized, CTRL-V and you're done! Great video, Thanks Joseph!

Honestly just wanted to find a simple technical video on editing for tiktok. I'm somewhat familiar with premier and after effects, but for what I'm trying to do making cuts in app for tiktok just is more effort than it's worth, so was looking for another way and just needed some technical basics!

I recommend you plug your phone into your pc and move it there and upload it from there phones nowadays hold 64-128gb of storage, it also makes it easier to upload finished videos on a schedule while on the move
Do you have a video on how to use audio from a popular tiktok song and have it match to the video you edit from your computer? Lets say I want to use a Doja Cat song, but I want my video to also show up with other people who used the same popular audio.
