Most traders focus on ta ..rather look 4 points where liquidation happens ...on htf...say on 5 10 or even 3 min with macd or sto or any other indicator....look at jankovskys work & comcept of time comptession trading
I think the best problem most traders face is that they keep repeat their mistakes over and over, because it is really hard to follow your strategy for a very long time and not break your rules 😉 🇴🇲

but u will not know if you are in a trend or not during trading. u can only assume . and if you are assuming . u have to have a good risk reward area for entry.
The Nasdaq was making bull breakouts the whole of the last half of October and early November , also some bull flags, you will see this on the H1. We saw hardly any pullbacks which makes it hard to get in without taking a chance on those bull breakouts and bull flags…
Scalping a trend day, especially a strong bull trend day, for me is very hard. I know its going up but the entry is hard to determine. I'll take a good ole' trading range day with the predictable back and forth oscillations any day for scalping than a trend day.

Please, allow me to answer as you have insisted so sternly. But first let me introduce myself I am a technical analysis based day trader, but I also dabble (great word that) with swing trading using fundamental analysis. Do you understand technical and fundamental analysis? Ok, so that is what you need to learn first. Infact you have a lot to learn. Infact the question you have asked is a real bad question that every new comer asks, and i don't personally think that you tubers are going to waste their time answering entry level questions from casual. So let's get back to trading. You have asked how much can one (like a real queen) make as a percentage. This is like saying, if i train at running, how fast can I run a marathon. The answer is completely dependent on your ability and situation. Top traders will hugely outperform the the rest. There have been some reports of top traders making hundreds of % gains, for example 300% per year. But other traders may only achieve 20%. You need to ask the question am I beating the market or not. If you spend 10 hours a week trading and you only beat the Nasdaq by 1% a year, is it worth the time you spend. So the answer is performance varies between traders. Please focus on the process and not on the gains, because you are very likely not going to achieve any hoped for targets in the first 3 or 4 years.
As an independent trader 5-10% (1% risk per trade) monthly can be bring up to 10-20% with 2% risk per trade. Mastering forex will take you between 1-3 years above this time trading is really not meant for you and it will be time to move on. But work hard and you won't have to worry about that.

Strong trend day u just hold as long as possible and exit when it looks like reversal
