My favorite year in the arrowverse was around Arrow season 5. Because around that time every show was on point for me. Arrow pulled a complete 180 from season 4 and delivered a fantastic comeback season, Flash was great too with Savitar and Legends got their best season ever and was really complimented by how great Matt Letsher was as Reverse Flash and even made me like Damien Darkh. Kapuishon was such a memorable episode. When Oliver said I wanted to and I liked it was one of the most memorable moments from the show. Also Josh Segarra pulled out one of the best acting performances in all of the Arrowverse. Aside from Reverse Flash, Zoom and Deathstroke Prometheus was one of the best villains they ever had.
I love this all seasons ranking series pagey. Please do it for the rest of the Arrowverse shows as well and some non Arrowverse like stargirl, titans and superman and lois.
#8 Season 6 (I did temporarily stopped watching the show because of how much the team arrow civil war bullshit pissed me off lol) #7 Season 7 ( yes the prison fights were epic but pretty much everything else was forgettable and terrible lol) #6 Season 4 (yes Damien Dark was a cringy villain but his appearances in the other arrowverse redeemed him for me a bit and the finale was bad but I actually liked a lot about this season) #8 Season 8 ( I love the first 4 episodes especially the first one, and I liked that Oliver became the spectre, but the final 2 episodes really fell flat for me, I didn't like how they ended the show) #4 Season 3 (amazing first half of the season, best version of team arrow, and while yes there were problems with the back half and the finale, I still enjoyed it a lot) #3 Season 5 ( Prometheus=🐐 a top tier villain in the arrowverse, and wow was that finale amazing even though the following season kinda screwed it up lol) #2 Season 1 #1 Season 2 (Deathstroke 👌 and flashbacks peak)
Think I’m pretty much in agreement with your order of top 6. Season 2 & season 5 were equally epic but agreed first half dozen episodes of season 5 let it down. For me though I’d maybe rank season 6 as the worst - all that OTA vs NTA stuff was just painful. They actually managed to make every single character (bar Oliver) totally unbearable then had that weird Diggle’s jealous arc which was so out of character. Only thing that saved that was the acting of Stephen Amell & David Ramsey during their big fight season - redeemed that arc slightly even if it did make zero sense & reduced Diggle to a whiny little child who didn’t get his way.
Honestly I agree with you almost completely. 1) Season 5 2) Season 2 3) Season 1 4) Season 8 5) Season 3 6) Season 7 7) Season 6 8) Season 4 Season 2 is more consistently great than Season 5 but Season 5’s highs are the best of the show.
My ranking with brief summary would be 8. Season 4 (of course) 7. Season 7 (prison is so damn good but legit as soon as elsewolrds ends I feel like it just plummets in quality due to Emiko and the police stuff) 6. Season 3 (first half is good but never beats seasons 1 or 2 imo, then ofc after the climb it just feels very sloppy) 5. Season 6 (ik I’ll get hate for this one but I feel like season 6 is so slept on. Like the Caden James stuff is comical especially the killing the internet episode BUT the action is great, the middle part of the season is solid, and the last like 6 episodes range from great-peak imo especially Prometheus’ “return” episode. 4. Season 8 (I feel like it’s a hot take but I like the future kids stuff, yes it was to setup the spinoff that the back door pilot episode which is painful to watch, but Oliver getting the chance to see his kids grown up is beautiful imo. Overall a fan service done-right kind of season.) 3. Season 1 (great start to a mostly great show, plus my favorite flashbacks) 2. Season 2 (Slade Wilson/death stroke is so good, love the rapport between him and Oliver, the beginning of the season moves a little bit slow though imo) 1. Season 5 (Prometheus is my favorite tv villain in any show ever. Chills everytime he’s on screen. The beginning I also think is really great showing Oliver go from wanting to fly solo to slowly trusting and training his new team is great. I just wish rag man could’ve stayed around longer, would’ve made season 4’s existence actually feel somewhat important in the most minimal way, but still. Best action in the show, best villain, really great flashbacks, and a couple of the greatest television episodes ever in Kapiushon and Lian Yu. Legacy, What We Leave Behind, Checkmate, Honnor Thy Fathers, and Missing are also so damn good.
Thank you, Pagey, for remembering that the top of Season 5 was awful and nobody wanted new team arrow. I fully agree Season 2 is superior to Season 5. Everything in Season 2 was fantastic, and the marriage of the flashbacks with the present day was perfectly handled.
I remember being meh about season 5, then the back half hit so hard that i totally forgot about the bad first half. Peak arrow, and shows arrow really needed Shorter seasons overall
Season 4 of Arrow was like Season 7 of The Flash. They were so bad I almost stopped watching entirely. Arrow though rose back up in quality in its back half, while Flash didn't.

Damien Darhk was an excellent villain during season 4. Neil McDonough was an absolute pleasure to watch however he proved to be at his best in Legends of Tomorrow. The problem with Season 4 was the Olicity drama that was never ending. I mean it got bad and so cringe. The Vandal Savage crossover was cool. The fight sequences especially in the finale was just absolutely horrible. The final fight in particular was ridiculous especially when there was such a standard in the finales of the show. Season 4 gets a bad rap and for right reason and it is the worst season but it wasnt so bad there were some good moments.
Nice list I think season 7 was better than season 3 overall but I get why you like 3 more Overall arrow was good man I miss the show sure it wasn't great and there were so many problems with the weaker seasons but in the end I enjoyed the show and it still is one of my favorite superhero shows
The worst season is season 3! I’m sick and tired of people saying that season 4 is easily the worst season when it isn’t even that bad. Season 3 is so boring, the storylines are dull and annoying, and it has, in my opinion, the WORST season of the show. Season 4 is engaging and interesting, and nothing that I’ve ever seen has actually given me a reason why season 4 is considered bad!
Yeah, I admit, at the beginning of a few episodes on Season 4, I started to lose interest in the show, and unfortunately, I stopped watching “Arrow” altogether, with the exception of Season 8, when I did watch each episode until the end. So my personal list will be Top 3, which will be: Season 2 Season 1 Season 3.

Right now, I'm in the middle of watching Arrow season 4. And I have to say, I don’t understand why people HATE season 4. Personally, I like Damien Darhk, at least for the first half, and I LOVED the first half of the show in generale, and I think they did laurel's death pretty good(though Im only at S4 EP20 right now). But the season isn’t perfect, I think the flashbacks are the worst so far. It's just boring. I also think that the Oliver and Felicity drama went a little too far, to the point where I started to dislike the episodes, especially episode 16. The only good thing about that episode was Cupid. While I don't think season 4 is perfect, and it will never be as good as season 1 and 2, I think it's better than season 3. I would rather watch a season that is amazing in the start, and then becomes terrible in the end(S4), than a season that is forgettable, and I only remember 4 things(S3).

Honestly I loved every season of arrow!!! From season one to season 8!!! But for me I think supergirl has the weakest seasons by far.
