- It's been a long wait for this video and after what feels like forever recording and editing it; here we have it. This is my definitive ranking of every season of Arrow from worst to best!

I prefer Oliver from season 1 when he would kill with no hesitation and care, after season 1 he got softer
I personally like that he eventually transitioned out of killing (even though he was certainly badass when he was in Season1) because it felt like a natural arc for him and also brought him closer to the comic book persona. But hey I loved I’m in season 1 too, so more power to you 👍

after rewatching the show again, i decided to watch all these reviews about arrow, flash, supergirl, etc. this has to be one of, if not THE best video i’ve seen on the entire show. i’m a sucker for long videos, and this is literally everything i could ask for. an in depth dive on the things this show does well, what it doesn’t do so well, and everything in between. i love this video. truly. it’s amazing, and it should definitely be watched way more than it has been
I honestly liked all seasons but the 2nd half of season 7 with Emiko as the villain

Something ALL HUMANITY Agrees
IS THAT SEASON 2 IS THE BEST SEASON FOR ARROW
I'm sorry to say but I ever-so-slightly prefer season 1. I don't like the Helena Bertenelli scenes. However, the season 1 fight scene coordination is unmatched it's just far too good. I suppose that it's purely up-to whether you slightly put action at the top or whether you put the storyline up a bit more. Season 2 has better story overall but season 1 fight scenes are the best for sure!
Absolutely for me, felt like the most complete season for me. Still LOVE seasons 1 and 5 too; like I say in the video, anyone who was to have either of them as their fav season I wouldn’t massively disagree with
@@flashnet7633yeah, season 1 defo has its own vibe with the fight scenes which I do admire, helps to make it stand out. Still prefer S2 as a whole package but that gritty S1 vibe was awesome

3 2 and 1 in no real order: 1 2 and 5
hope im not the only one who feels this way, honestly theyre all brilliant, 5 started weaker than 1 and 2 but with episodes like its finale or kapiushon along with the best flashbacks and fucking prometheus as a villain just couldnt let me put it below the first 2 seasons, theyre also the only seasons i rewatch cuz the writing is incredible, the villains are amazing, and the dark side of the show is seen quite nicely in them all particularly 1 and 5 which sets this show apart from the other arrowverse shows
I stopped watching it after season 4 new team arrow it was kind of stupid season 6 was worse everyone abandoned him he lost everything all because he decided to be a hero the only good thing about it is that ha got back whit felicity first 4 season he didn't have to carry the burden of everything alone
I believe it should be Felicity the one who died instead of Laurel.
If it was down to me then yes, might’ve made the rest of that season tolerable 😂

I realized Daredevil (S2) like Arrow (S3) failed at adapting a good ninja/assassin clan plotline
S1 Oliver is the best version of the character, while S2 is the best season of Arrow as a whole.
The one issue i had with season 2 that made season 3 even worse was Thea. When she learned that Malcolm was her father she acts as if Oliver knew her whole life when he just found out a couple weeks prior and knew it was too late to tell her the truth and was right as she reacted exactly how he thought she would upon learning that Malcolm was her father. Not just that, she couldn't piece together why Oliver was acting rude to Moira upon learning the truth? She then became this self righteous person who thought the truth was all they needed when I'm sorry, secrets are necessary sometimes to protect people. Her attitude cost Oliver money because she didn't sign in time. And this carried on in season 3 where she continued to hold Oliver and Roy in contempt for lying to her, yet here she is lying to them about Malcolm, becoming a complete hypocrite and is never called out on it. Thea left such a bad taste in my mouth after season 2 that i predicted it was ger who killed Sara in episode 2, thinking that they were going to reveal Malcolm told her tge truth about Oliver as the Arrow and she felt even more betrayed that she wanted revenge on the people who kept in her in the dark. That's how much i thought Thea became such a high and mighty lying hypocrite.
yeah im rewatching it now and that part makes 0 sense. the idea that she becomes an assassin right after is beyond ridiculous.

Ik this video is like old asf lol but I still would put 3 above 6 and 7, because in 6 I thought the Diaz arc was so bad, and in 7 I thought the Emiko storyline was horrible. 3’s best moments weren’t as good at 6 or 7 but I did think that 3 was more consistently good than either of them. Especially because the best part of 6 was Cayden James, who was more or a felicity villain than anything else.

I respectfully highly disagree on your lower rankings, to me s06 and s07 are equally interchangeable at the very bottom and even if I love the actor and he did feel like a treat, I really didn't enjoy Diaz findinding him to be annoying instead, s03 and s04 are also interchangeable next cause there are both great and positive things and awful and negative ones... and I LOVED Damien Dharke as a villain (just not so much what they did around him) then s08 was great but just couldn't measure to the last few being in that order : s05, s01 and ofc s02 !! 🙂

Weird take but I personally believe that season 6 is much worse than any other season as season 6 is just absolute crap and the whole season is just Diaz it's so stupidly repetitive and just overall horrible. At least season 4 had maybe 20 minutes of salvageable footage. Additionally, I preferred season 3 over 4 as it's got a good 2-3 episodes which are alright. Other than that, I have to say I slightly prefer season 1 over season 2 but not in a major degree and to be honest the whole Helena Bertenelli (Huntress) scenes were just horrible! So perhaps with that consideration season 2 is better overall. I just prefer the whole dynamic of the season 1 fight scenes, especially the hallway scene and loved when they brought it back for one last time in season 8.

I really was the biggest fan but I never spoke with anyone that liked Dinah or even the actress who played her. She always come off fake and snobby
I liked her in Season 5, but when Earth-2 Laurel became a more prominent character she became either sidelined like in season 8 or given awful storylines such as getting vengeance for vince and her dislike for E2 Laurel in season 7
Her character was basically a stand in for Laurel, who was brought in cause the writers realised they messed up by killing of Laurel in season 4. When they got Katie Cassidy back as a regular, she became a bit redundant
@@MuleKick_Media with laurel, I don’t think they thought it was a mistake. I think the actress didn’t want to leave but they had wrote so badly there was nothing they could do with her. She was addict and then she trained for a few weeks, to go out and fight ninja assassins. They had to get rid of the character, bring in a more dangerous one that could maybe do more for different shows. That’s why they brought her in as a villain with a super power. So she was convincing physically. Also made it easier to write for her because she was written a redemption story. Earth 2 laurel was way better I thought. Dinah was ok in season 5 I guess but I just never liked her. I really just didn’t like her in the rest of the show and I found the actress to be a bit snobby and not very good actor. Which the arrow verse didn’t have the best material to work with always.
I've never been more invested in a TV Show than I was when Arrow Season 3 was airing. I was in genuine agony over the holiday break after that mid-season finale. Coincidentally, I've never been more disappointed in a season finale than I was in Season 3. It wasn't terrible per se, but given how the first half of the season made me feel, I was devastated at how it petered out and ended with a fart rather than a bang

I honestly only liked the first 5 seasons of Arrow. I didn't care about the last 3. One of the things I liked about the show was how almost every episode had flashbacks of Oliver's 5 years of hell. So that whole structure about going back and forth between his past and present made Arrow's storytelling so compelling. I do agree that Seasons 3 and 4 are weak, but I don't think they're as atrocious as everyone says. Season 4's low points were lower than Season 3, but its high points were higher than Season 3, and that's what gave it an edge for me.

Slade was perfect
Ras was scary at first but became a little generic in the end.

Yeah but he was practically non existent until ep 15 when he actually started to appear on a consistent basis. He was good when he got shit to do but the league stuff felt so rushed and crammed together in the final 3rd of the season; because of wasting so much time on other storylines and Olicity drama instead of developing an enemy they’ve been teasing/setting up since S1.

I didn’t watch the series while it was still in production but decided to watch on Netflix this year (2024). I hated s4 so much I quit in the middle of episode 8, read the episode synopses online, then watched the finale (“Schism”). It felt like the right thing to do. Now I’m watching season 5.

I honestly hate season 5 the most, it just destroys Oliver’s character for me, it contradicts everything that was portrayed in the previous seasons, even season 1.
The WORST part of season 4 was everything to do with Damien Dhark. He was boring, Oliver had like 5 different fights, where Oliver shows up, fails becase magic, and then escapes. Showing up again in a episode or two, with no changes. It happens repeatedly.

This show is a masterpiece,my favourite series of all time and it just got better in every single season. Don't care what anyone says I loved all seasons,never dissapointed me,Arrow is personal too me so not many would understand. I never understood the hate for any seasons because season 4 was amazing but everyone has different opinions.
The fact that you got the ranking right over another video that has 10x as many views is impressive. I just came over from The Black Lion's ranking of the Arrow seasons and he put season 5 at #1 which is baffling to me. I know you said that you could understand people putting seasons 1, 2, and 5 interchangeably in the top 3, but you went into detail as to why they are in the order that they are.

Am I the only one that thinks season 5 is overrated in general. No doubt it has many strengths but is bogged down by the new team arrow. Prometheus' motivation never seemed very convincing too. Great video 😌
I think season 5 was so liked because it sort of brought arrow back to season 1 after the wreck of season 4
I dislike season 5 the 2nd most to be honest it's pretty repetitive only season 6 is capable of being worse and more repetitive.
