    It's amazing how long V-force reeds do last. I've just changed mine, too. Since 2005.

    Great video Russ, where’s the place for replacement V-force reeds m8?

      There are loads of places in the UK that sell the reeds and the kits. Best bet is to talk to your local scooter tuner or just Google VForce 4. 😀🍺👍🏻

    Always a pleasure watching you guys, would those vforce reeds fit into a RB20, don’t burn 🔥 your arse in Turkeys 🦃

      Yeh but you have to port the inlet

    Have you not needed to trim the v4 reed down to fit as I thought they were too tall in the frame

    • @Shedtune_Russ
      @Shedtune_Russ  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The reeds were a direct replacement of the originals and the same size so I didn’t have to trim them. Could be the GoPro as it makes things look distorted on video. 😀👍🏻🍺

    Other than adding the four holes for manifold studs what else need modifying on the reed block to fit a V4 to a TS1? Do you need the mill the top surface and run a packing plate like when fitting a Yamaha reed block or is running a set of eccentric frames cones enough? Thanks!

      No other mods, no milling, I use the CASA D cones and engine bar to get clearance

    Am going to buy vforce block from chiselspeed does it fit straight onwithout adjustments?

    • @Shedtune_Russ
      @Shedtune_Russ  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No you need to port the inlet area so the reeds open fully

    What manifold are you running there? I use an older MB one matched to V-Force3. Thinking of upgrading to V-Force4 I can buy them as a pair to suit each of my bikes. Are they a straight up replacement for V-FOrce3?

      I’m using an LTH inlet on mine. If your inlet port has been ported to suit the VForce so they open fully then I guess you can swap the out for the 4’s, although I seem to remember that there isn’t much difference in performance between the 3 and the 4’s.
