Looks like you’re putting it through the paces Awesome to see it is holding up well. I have found that all the bigger Medfords seem to take a beating and keep right working like champs. Definitely one of my favorite brands🇺🇸🤘🤘👊
I’ve actually had the opposite experience. I have a praetorian t with a pvd blade. Never used only fidgeted with for about 6 months and the pvd is now about 50% gone. Just flakes off only from being played with
Can't find an answer for this... I got a 187 (love it), but wondering about not being able to take it apart? How will this thing get regreased years from now? Is it supposed to be used a lifetime without ever being greased again?
Ya Medford has a video on their channel about cleaning them. Basically Greg wants you to keep the knife together because they use some sort of marine grease. Says to wash the knife under warm soapy water. Let dry or hit with a hair dryer then use wd40 on it. You can get a tool to take the knife apart if you want it need to. I know guys have found the golf tools you use on the shoes to replace the spikes will work.

Ya I’ve been really impressed with how it’s holding up.
I’ve had a couple coated blades from them and haven’t had any issues with blade coating. I’d definitely contact them and send it in.
