This was so cute! I tuned in after I saw your IG post about it. I brought some Dominican cheese and salchichon last week. Tia Carmen thanks for teaching me. You remind me of my friend Maribel from Jersey City, but she’s a Georgia peach 🍑 like you now. Julissa great channel, wishing you nothing but the very best.
🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴 for the culture baby!!! here for the Tia Carmen content! would’ve loved to hear more of her story when she was explaining she’s originally from Santiago (like who taught her how to cook, at what age did she learn, is she your mom’s or dad’s sister etc.). Como un little chat while cocinando 😊 but really enjoyed this episode (and I vote yes for a DR trip!)
I loved this!!! Juli, me encanta tu canal!!! This Mexicano-Boricua-DOMINICANO-Salvadoreño-Guatemalteco is happy!!!! Yes I AM that whole mix!! Can we please get a bachata-dancing episode!!!
Tia Carmen! Great job! I love how you stay true to the Dominican cooking rules! Please more cooking videos with Tia Carmen. I'm interested in how you make one of my favorite breakfast plates- Farina ( I like this morning and as a night snack) and Avena con pan!
I actually cooked that breakfast let me tell you I had such a hard time finding the cheese and the sausage I’m Mexican and I live San Fernando California and I finally found it in a little store in Glendale CA . Omg so worth the trip yum 😋
Hi I just discovered your channel on TV and I really enjoy it. Need more of these cooking segments. I’m curious why can’t you find that particular white cheese in the west coast when there’s so many Spanish people living there. I’m a Latina myself. My parents are Spanish & grew up in the island and am very proud of our culture.
Idk if it's just me or def the Latina in them both but she reminds me so much of Adrianne's mom. Just smooth with the cooking and have a great sense of humor all why you can see and feel the motherly love.
So nice love your Tia I’m not Dominican but I’m Puerto Rican but I love me some fried cheese 😊if I have regular salami I just fry me a piece with it better than nothing. More videos with her
They call it 3 golpes because of the egg , cheese, and meat . People choose if they want it with salami or longaniza because both is too much . You can have it with both though. The plantain is not a hit lol .
Julisa is me, I have 3aunts Puerto Rican fambam on my mom's side, beautiful, good cooks, anyone I've brought over says my mom has made the best Puerto Rican food starting with sancocho to me ours is bit thicker compared to other cultures, rice and beans, coffee ect, my aunt got mad because my cousin said her mom she had to cook like my mom and my husband knows if my mom cooked the food or not even tho they all use the same exact ingredients taught by my grandma, I was shocked one day I didn't notice the rice was different but my husband was upset with me for not being able to tell that my mom didn't make it and my mom laughed.
Oh my gosh. I watched this whole video. Now I want some longaniza with mangu, eggs, salami, and red onion. Your tía is very sweet and you guys have great chemistry on camera. I wish I could find all these ingredients where I live. I’d love to give this a try.
If I want to fry cheese I have to go to Whole Foods. That is the only place where I can find it. It's not that brand though. I think it's a dutch cheese.
She is so funny and cute!! More videos with Tia Carmen and cooking 😍
Definitely coming soon!
Tia Carmen has sass and she is very lively and engaging. Bring her on more.
Tia Carmen for the win!!! Really enjoyed this episode.
