Fascinating. So they can fix it? I was wondering, is it in my mind or brain? Since we can only take our mind or soul with us, then doesn't have to be biology or spiritual?
What frequency range is this
😊😊😊😊@@Mars2152
Yes what's the frequency. Sounds high maybe 1500Hz
I have tinnitus in both ears for 18 yrs now. Left ear it is very high almost 8-9 and in right ear it is about 2-3. This cricket sound therapy masks my tinnitus very well. It greatly reduces my tinnitus after listening to it for even 5-10 mins. But the original tinnitus loudness returns back after few minutes . Hope some day there is some permanent cure to this irritable problem😢
Vamos ter fé!! tb tenho há 8 anos do lado esquerdo
@@glauberzell yes its very loud and i got it because not using ear protection during artillery gun firing. Regret it till date😔
I feel you mate. Had it 13 years, hearing damage from years of loud music in shows (used to be a touring musician). One day woke up and the buzzing has been with me ever since. Some days it’s better than others but some days are absolute hell.
Susan shore device should work once it comes out.
Try Lenire teraphy
Just some advice, if you're just starting to experience some tinnitus, do NOT read any comments any videos or anything. It will scare the shit out of you. Just relax and let yourself heal.
Mike. Totally agree!
Tell me about it. I keep hearing that tinnitus probably doesn't indicate a serious problem UNLESS it is pulsatile and/or only in one ear. That is how mine is. My doctor ran a couple of tests then didn't pursue it any further. Now what keeps me awake at night is worrying about it more than just hearing it.
I absolutely agree so now I just find all the tinnitus cricket masking videos and can sleep well !!!!
I use to think there weren't many people that suffered with tinnitus. Boy was I wrong. It's been four years since this terrible nightmare started. It's genetics for me. My father and grandfather both suffered with hearing loss. They both had tinnitus. I never thought at 46 I would suffer from from hearing loss. It's in my right ear constantly. I know it will never go away. Like many I have good and bad days, especially when I have had poor sleep or there is stress in my life. Thank you for all your videos. It is what helps get me through my days and nights.
Thank you
Kara
46 and same tinn story here, wish you peace.
I was 42 when radiation damaged my hearing, but I still survived & now thrive as brain cancer surviving now 8yrs. 🎉 Do have good days as well as my bad. Best of luck through your journey.
Im 32 :(
Same here me AT 45 hearing loss with high pitched T on it
For people who grew up in rural areas, but then moved to a city or to a place where crickets are not in abundance doing their thing, this is a great way to lessen the symptoms of tinnitus. It really does help a lot.
I just have to say, after trying several methods the, cricket method is far superior and works well for me. I had suspected this would be the case, but just how much relief one gets is a bit surprising. I never "suffered" from tinnitus in my earlier years BECAUSE of the crickets which became part of the normal background tone while falling asleep. You remove that background noise (say after moving to a place where there are less/no crickets) and it wrecks havoc on your tonal processing in the Brain. Thus, its removal has the potential to even drive you into mental illness. Crickets also seem to reset my ears the fastest, allowing for restful sleep and then a day filled with much less early ringing and related pain. Thanks for this !
I hated cricket sounds as a kid but now my tinnitus is so unbearable I basically listen to this 24/7 and it helps so much!
We're glad to hear that the cricket sounds are providing relief for your tinnitus, despite your childhood aversion to them! It's amazing how our perceptions can change over time, especially when it comes to finding solutions for discomfort. Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're grateful to have been able to offer some relief.
Thank you so much for this. Prayers for you
Cricket sounds are my tinnitus.
no disrespect to the channel creator but I couldn't take more than a couple minutes it made my tinnitus feel worse if that's possible
@@oldndayzd9281 I know your message is old, but it's the same for me, also when I'm paying attention to my tinnitus sound it gets louder, much louder, so this video makes the same as if I'm listening to my own tinnitus and it gets louder

Thank you. Cricket sound works for me. I tried water, wind, etc. Crickets still work for me.
About a year ago I was in a dark place after mine started. I thought I was never going to be able to sleep again because the ringing in my ears was so loud. Only at night. During the day it’s barely noticeable. I tried a bunch of other noises and videos but the ringing in my ear was so much higher than those videos even at max volume. Thank god I found this video it hits just the right frequency of my ear that it completely drowns it out and I’ve been playing this for about 8 months now every single night while sleeping. Thank you so much for this video I don’t know where I would be without it.
Listened to this in bed last night and when I paused the video my tinnitus was gone for the longest time. It was crazy. It didn't come back until after I woke up the next morning. Thanks.

My tinnitus has been extremely loud today and I found this video while looking for help. I found my “crickets” just started blending in and I turned the volume down and they were almost gone within 7 mins. I am going to continue the video because it sure is taking the aggravation out of my head. Thank you.
Fingers crossed and ears ready...!
I have dealt with tinnitus for 54 of my 63 years. Crickets are the farthest thing to help me with that, LOL. I cannot stand the pitch and tone of cricket legs rubbing together. It drives me completely mad after a certain point. I have lived in the city and the country, so I am "seasoned" to their sound. Personally, I have to listen to sounds like, Rain on a Lake, Rain on a pond, Rain in a meadow, a running stream, brook or river. I need that sound of water and that sound works best for me and drowns out the annoying clicking, chirping, grinding, whistling, buzzing, whooshing sounds of my tinnitus. I tried listening to this and got 4 minutes into it and my nerves were becoming thin, sorry. Kudos to those who can listen to this and glad it helps you.
Pray for silence!!!! 🙏
Thank you! This cricket sound helped me a lot
You're very welcome! I'm delighted to hear that the cricket sound has brought you relief. It's heartening to know that you've found this sound therapy beneficial for managing your tinnitus.
Well i certainly thank you for the info. Believe it or not this is the first time i have ever looked into a cure or relief.
And its been around forty years now. I read that you suggested wax buildup. I do have that for sure. I am gonna feel like one silly but super happy guy if that is the case. A doctor years ago did ask me if i wanted my ears cleaned. I said no!!!!!! I see you answer a lot of people here. Don't bother. I thank you. Gonna check out what you have available and see a doctor to get my ears cleaned. Problem is there are precious few real doctors here in Peru. They are undereducated unless they have studied in an advanced country. I am an American expat. Thank you again.😊
Thank you for your comment! We're glad you found the information helpful. Getting your ears cleaned could definitely provide relief, so it's worth exploring. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Wishing you all the best on your journey to finding relief from tinnitus!
Hey Laura, this really helped a lot

This works really well for me - complete silence once I turn the crickets off after around 30 minutes
I'm so glad to hear that the crickets sound therapy is working effectively for you! Achieving complete silence after just 30 minutes is fantastic progress. Thank you for sharing your positive experience, and I hope it continues to bring relief from tinnitus.

Thank you for feedback on headband. I am going to purchase this band. My relief is high-pitched hZ or crickets. Maybe with band I will find relief. Not long, like entire day. Then tinnitus returns and I go to sleep listening to Crickets or other ambient noise to help minimize this awful tinnitus.
My left ear rings at an easy 5 level and i listen to this to fall asleep and it does help 💖

Muchas gracias , este sonido enmascara muy bien mi Tinnitus que es de 10,300 Hz Bendiciones desde México 🇲🇽 ❤🙏🏽💫
You're very welcome! We're thrilled to hear that you found a sound therapy that works. Remember not to mask the tinnitus as this only provides temporary relief, if at all. Keep the sound therapy at a level below your tinnitus for the best long term benefit.
The sounds take effect but for a few minutes only. How long do I have to listen to the crickets for the Tinnitus be reduced for a long time??
Typically, patients will use sound therapy consistently (during all waking hours) for up to 18 months or until habituation has been reached.
How do you listen to this? Headphones or?
My tinnitus started 11 years ago after quitting smoking and yea it sucks I would suggest to anyone with it to find out where there tinnitus range is mine is 6000hz so this sound is perfect for me if you find your range it definitely will help you 😊
I had tinnitus in my left now after listening to this I have it in both . Not sure this will help . I’ll give it a try but I think I have to use headphones
Wow that’s cool for a moment I thought my tinnitus disappeared 😅

THANKS.....
I can't even hear it without turning it up to about to about 2'oclock. I usually listen at the 10 o'clock position. Does that mean that I can't hear in this range?
Had tinnitus for 13 years. Learned to live with it. But last to weeks it got much worse with addition of short ringing sounds in my left ear. Worst part - I just can’t fall asleep. It’s killing me. I want to sleep. I’m really tired. This sound helps. At least I can relax for 30 minutes.
I'm glad to hear that the sound therapy helps you relax, even if it's just for a short while. If you're interested, you can check out our other sound therapy tracks for more options.
This is exactly what my tinnitus sounds like.
Wonderful
Thank you!
I should try this…..
I don't know what to think... I am listening to this on my EarPods. My tinnitus is in my left ear. Super high pitched sound in my head. When I switch the balance toward my left ear which is the problem side I cannot hear it at all. NOT at all. Does it do any good to listen with my right ear knowing my left ear is getting nothing? Is this the proof that the cricket sounds are at the right frequency because I cannot hear them?
Another question. Is it possible to have tinnitus at such a high frequency that the sound in my head is higher than what my natural (or anyones) physical hearing. The pitch has got to be at least 18000 hz. It is so loud. Even with my EarPods on full volume it is only HALF as loud as the sound in my head. Sometimes it just plain drives me crazy. Thanks for being here.
Hi, thank you for reaching out. Using sound therapy on your "good" ear can still be beneficial. I'm curious, do you have any hearing loss in your left ear that might be affecting your ability to hear the sound therapy? The cricket sounds might be at the same frequency as your tinnitus, making them difficult to hear, or it could be due to a slight hearing loss. It's possible to perceive tinnitus at an ultra-high frequency outside our normal range of hearing. We suggest scheduling a full hearing evaluation with your local Audiologist. Sometimes, unilateral tinnitus is caused by something as simple as wax buildup in the ear, which could also be affecting your ability to hear.
@@treblehealth Thank you for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it. I know that I have a severe high frequency hearing loss in my left ear. I can hear out of it, but only partially. Whatever frequency the crickets are at is apparently the exact frequency I am essentially deaf in or the tinnitus is so loud in my head that it makes me practically deaf because it is drowning out the crickets. It is quite a sensation. Yet you do recommend listening to it?
@@treblehealthcould it really be wax buildup. I definitely have that. But for forty years? I am definitely going to see a specialist if I can find one here in Peru. When I am focused on something it just disappears.
Thank you very much. It is sometimes almost unbearable. .
@@VincentConti-m5j I had a very bad and loud ringing in my left ear and echoing in my right when I spoke. My doctor said my left ear was completely blocked and right was half blocked from wax. After cleaning it out, the sounds went away in my right ear and left ear has improved.
What if the ringing that I hear is coming from the back of my neck towards closer to the left side? Also I can feel the ringing in that area too.
It's important to address any changes or specific sensations related to your tinnitus, especially if you're feeling it in a localized area like the back of your neck towards the left side. I would recommend visiting your local ENT for a thorough evaluation and personalized guidance on managing your tinnitus.
Can i hear this sound on mobile
You can use any type of device to listen to this sound including earphones, speakers, surround sound systems, hearing aids, etc. We recommend and open fit device so you can still hear your surrounds - bone conduction headphones (like Shokz) are great for this.
@treblehealth thanks for replying
I'm new to this it is constant ringing. How do you learn just sleep with this cricket sound I think it's worse than my tinnitus how do you sleep with constant ringing
Same here. Forty years now. For me fortunately once I am asleep it is gone. At times drives me nuts. You know.

Sleeping better don’t make a difference. Louder and closer hissing Sounds come back anytime with different frequency and levels.
Can I use headphones? ??
We actually recommend using open fit headphones for sound therapy (and not noise cancelling)!
@@treblehealthlike a regular pair of Apple earphones, I have it plugged into my iPad but at night I don’t wear any headphones, I just listen to it stardom my iPad, will that work, this is all new to me, been 6 weeks.
Nope, my tinnitus is almost the same sound so this doesn't work, what works for me is wind chimes sound and sound bowl for meditation.
Same here and thanks to your comment I will now try the wind chimes.
It depends on the person because tinnitus have many different frequencies
Same hear, this sounds puts me nearer the edge🥴. I hate it.
Listening to this is literally like torture for me, this is kinda what my tinnitus sounds like 24/7.
Why do you have to listen at a lower volume than the tinnitus. I like it loud so I don't hear the ringing
We understand how tempting it can be to cover up the tinnitus with sound therapy but this simply acts as a band aid and once the sound therapy is turned off, the tinnitus is oftentimes perceived even louder. The brain cannot habituate to something it cannot hear so it is imperative that you can hear both, the tinnitus and the sound therapy, for best long term habituation results.
It is very relaxing to listen to but as soon as I turn it off, my tinnitus feels louder. (It settles after a while.) Why is this happening?
Your bain needs to listen to a noise first to filter it out. After you stop the video, its like walking into a kitchen at night with a loud fridge. You will always hear it at first.
Happens to me too
This is interesting and makes sense. Thank you@@xinnocent88x

I had low level tinnitus on my right ear (about 4) and high level on the left (about 6-7) . From time to time (2-4 weeks) i have to refresh with Crickets therapy as starts slowly the tinnitus to grow up, and stops leaving only on my left ear a very low volume tinnitus of 8 khz which does not bather me at all. The refreshment therapy is a 5-10 minutes for 3-4 days for the left ear. The right one stops immediately the first day. I am really happy ! I am using good quality headphones (20hz-20khz) and I am 70 years old. Without headphones (only the internal speakers of my Macbook Air) does not affect much on my tinnitus.
It kinda works for me.
Can’t hear it unless i hold my phone up to my ear. This sound hurts… I prefer the ‘crackle’ sounds
Be sure to tell all those on pde5 drugs about their side effects!
I have a hard time "remembering" that there is treatment for Tinnitus...when no doctor, audiologist, ENT, dentist or any other med professional says there is nothing wrong, there is no cure, take this prescription, etc. Come on.
I have no expectations of finding resolution in my lifetime. Not pessimistic. Realistic. It is what it is.
Very stressful to me
I can't hear the crikets
I'm still waiting on the sound of earthquakes, and tsunami
I tell people my tinnitus sounds like a field of crickets,,,, this is a nightmare!!
We understand how frustrating and scary it can be when the tinnitus reacts differently than how we would expect. Ensure you are listening to the sound at volume just below your tinnitus as we want to avoid masking it. It's also important that you use a sound that is comforting to you as sound therapy is not one size fits all. Feel free to explore other sound therapy options on our youtube channel until you find one that is comforting for you. If you'd like to speak with one of us, please schedule a complimentary telehealth consultation: treble.health/consultation
How does one figure out the sound volume below our tinnitus? Why wouldn’t we want to mask the noise? Sorry I’m new to this, I’m still trying to figure all this out, only been 6 weeks.
Living like this is hard. Sometimes you just want to.
Get it over with. 😢
I wouldn't call these "calming" lol. It sounds like a robot cricket frenzy
Sounds like my salad shooter.
This sounds like my tinnitus not crickets ???
It's possible for tinnitus to be perceived as similar to sounds like crickets, ringing, buzzing, or even white noise. Crickets sound therapy, like other forms of sound therapy, aims to provide relief by masking or distracting from the tinnitus sound. However, it's essential to find the type of sound therapy that works best for your specific tinnitus experience.
Didn’t work for me. Guys too many loud bangs and booms shattered my hearing.
We're sorry to hear this sound didn't work for you. Explore some other options on our TH-cam until you find a sound that resonates with you. Remember to keep the volume below the level of your tinnitus for maximum relief.

We have a blog article about it! Check it out here: treblehealth.com/blood-pressure-and-tinnitus/
This is funny. I have tinnitus and have not heard crickets for years. And I do not hear anything on this video.
It sounds like you may benefit from visiting your local audiologist to discuss your tinnitus and potential hearing loss. They can provide a professional assessment and recommend suitable treatments or strategies tailored to your needs.
Nobody has to buy your stuff to listen to this, amazon has the same things and are cheaper!
I listened to this cricket sound for 10 mins but could still hear my normal tinnitus sound 😢
That's ok! When listening to sound therapy, we want the volume to either mix with your tinnitus or be below your tinnitus. Be mindful of not masking your tinnitus with sound therapy.
@@treblehealthwhat happens if we try to mask our noise in our ear, I thought that was the reason for sound therapy, now I’m really confused. Do you have somewhere to read up on this, I knew at it.
Lord no, do not do this as it will make you T a 1000 times worse😤
Not everyone will feel that way so don’t spread misinformation
Absolutely not. This cricket noise is exactly what my tinnitus sounds like.
My left ear can hear the sound of the cricket but my right ear t cannot..
It's important to get a hearing test with an audiologist to understand the differences in your ears.
