Why you have to rinse your carbon water filter before you use it. When you first take your new Keurig you should do this before you ever use it. Control your Keurig with your Smartphone with the Keurig App in the Google play store For Samsung or Apple Iphone. I love it and it has been so much fun. I show you how to control it with your smartphone. How I think the Brew ID Words by reading your k cup lid with a camera mounted next to the 5 needle brew head. Keurig has really upped their game and this coffee maker is loaded with features.

Thanks for the video. I just received mine today. It was a breeze to set up and connect to WiFi for me. I was hesitant on purchasing this one because of reviews on Amazon from people claiming they could never get it to connect to WiFi or it would fail after a while or, it wouldn’t brew without the WiFi. I chalked that up to people not knowing what they were doing and not reading instructions so we’ll see. I’m not one that normally buys extended warranties but in this case I did from Amazon for the mere fact my last keurig, the one with the attached frother failed in under 2 years. Been testing it all night and so far I’m happy. Fingers crossed

I use bottled water and no filter or filter holder pole. And thanks to your your advice, I do a water only 14 ounce rise once a week.

Just received a warranty replacement. Set up was fine till I got to Cleansing Brew…..nothing no sounds no water! The screen blinks cleansing brew 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ So, I’m thinking the water is not being pumped……Arrrggghhhh. Been waiting for this 1 week. All I wanted was a cup of coffee😢. Your videos are great! Separating the steps is a great idea!

@@JustADad I just purchased the Keurig Supreme Plus last week….I had an older model Keurig that stopped working…..I haven’t opened it yet so I may return it & purchase this one. I had no idea Keurig was coming out with a new one. I love brewing my own coffee using the my k-cup.

Thinking of getting the supreme plus smart coffee maker. Maybe you can help me with a question, the “brewer ID” feature mean that this brewer will ONLY make coffee with pods bought from Kuerig? I seem to remember there were some complaints about Kuerig machines which had this feature. Is this still the same practice they use? I want to make sure I don’t get stuck with a coffee maker that requires me to only by pods from Kuerig. Thank you.

Yes its a fan that cleans the window that looks at the k cups for Brew ID

Do I need to use the water filter in the reservoir? Or can I use it without the water filter?
You can use it without the water filter, the water filter is just if you water smells or has a strong Chorine taste.
Do I use tap water with the Keurig K Supreme Plus or do i use bottled water like Arrowhead or any natural spring water?
You can use Tap water, bottle water or spring water or filtered water. just do not use distilled water.

Does the Brewer ID work without a smartphone?
Yes as long as its on the same wifi as the brewer

I did a factory reset on it which takes away the brewer being connected to wifi, so when I set it up this time I skipped the wifi connection and just went to the brew. when I put a k cup it did not recognize it and just recommended a classic brew. So yes for the brew ID to work the machine has to be connected to Wifi. Great question!!! thanks so much!!!

Filter replacement should be an amount of cups, not a time in months. I could only make 60 cups in 60 days, but if I make 2 cups a day the filter should be changed depending on the amount of water through the filter!

I'd rather stick to my regular version..most coffee k cups u buy in the grocery store isn't going to come with bar codes on the pod..
Yeah, the brew Id might only work with certain ones.
It says to run cold water through the filter till the water runs clear. Not soak it like a tea bag. 🤦♂️
Sorry the instructions on the bag that come with mine said to soak it.
