His talented and been playing for a very long time. The only reason I can think of people saying he speeds it up is because they are jealous and could never accomplish his skills
nah, in a way, talent implies a gift. Something natural, given at birth, essentially undeserved. Untold hours go into crafting a skill like this, I'd rather commend that than talent. c:
Haha I'm sorry for coming off as cynical, I actually dislike how much of a stickler I am for words. It's just words like talent I never saw as a compliment, in fact when I look at the definition, it seems more like a disregard for the amount of practice someone's forced into their lives for their passions. There are many people who have told me that they're thinking of and appreciating someone's skill when they say talent, so I've decided I'll just stop pointing this out-- it's very assholish of me. I appreciate your position though, it's one I'd like to share. :3
After nine years, this video continues to delight people. Today, he inspired me to buy a digital piano and learn beautiful songs like the ones that are played in this video. A big hug from Brazil!

It did stop, its not moving it’s just ticking and operating as it’s main function. If you compare that to our human organs, cells, and etc... also that’s used to prove that he isn’t editing the speed of the video.
You shouldn't take this song as something you wanna learn first, cause its really hard. Maybe try to learn something like Fur elise (without the second part) or the main theme of fairy tail first
This is ridiculous like holy. I've been practicing the original composition of this so I'm really familiar with how the song goes. But when I watch this variation on it, like its so beautiful. Seeing your twist of the song just blows me mind and its so moving. Normally when I would see stuff like this with anything else, I immediately jump to the conclusion that I'll never be that good. But your videos do the opposite, it makes me realize that I want to do that, and it inspires me to practice.

this is the masterpiece i come every now and then to have a nostalgia boost. i've seen this video countless of times and one day i'm gonna write the sheet music for this and maybe play it. its one of my favorite videos on this platform and i saw it years ago, and i'm gonna come back. edit: there is some more backstory for it. i was playing this melody from memory on my uke and thought it did a great job as a sad inspirational and slowed down music, but no one seemed to think about it this way too, as i searched far and didn't find any versions that way, but this guy had nailed it.
Lost woods is one of my favourite songs to play even though it's basic I can play it over and over BUT THIS!!! This is insane! Can't wait to learn all of this. great job man!
Kyle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have never imagined! You simply cannot imagine my face when I saw you were part of the performers of Twilight Symphony! My estimation for you, already really high, has shot up even higher.
I just bought a P155 Cherry finish Yamaha!! Kyle - You should be getting commission on this, as you are the main reason I went with that make and model. Seriously, Yamaha should have a commercial, "Buy our product and you will sound like this guy!" Keep up the great work, you inspire my passion, and ease the stress of the work day.
You have a new sub this brought back memories even though I'm 15 I grew up with Zelda, tetris, dig dug and all of those games most people my age probably doesn't know those games exist I am a trumpet player looking forward to a music career and live for the best of it
I heard you're kingdom hearts songs done and piano through spotify (I almost shed a tear of pure joy). I wanted to hear more, so I used google and found this too. I almost exploded 0___0 You sir, are amazing!
Years from now I'll be playing a Kyle Landry album in my vehicle and my kids will complain and I'll say, "This is one of the best piano players of my generation!"
hey kyle, just commenting to say how much i appreciate your videos, it's really what got me motivated to play the piano again. I hope one day you'll arrange 'When You Wish Upon A Star", one of the few remaining great disney pieces you have yet to cover! :)
Wow. That's impressive really. I starting adoring the Beatles by my seventeenth year. One album is all it took and now I find myself with 3 (soon 4) very collectible Beatles vinyls records. Believe me man. It is better to be an individual. I personally don't get why people like rap because to me it makes little to no sense. One of the first bands I got into, and still love is Bon Jovi. Great band. Now I personally started piano at fourteen and I love it. It's better than wasting time on facebook
Dear Kyle, You are my inspiration and hopefully the inspiration for pianists everywhere. I sincerely love your variations on songs and I love listening to them. You give me hope that one day I will become as great as you. :) Thank you so much for these videos and I hope that you continue to keep making amazing videos such as these!! -All of your subscribers xD
It amazes me how you can move your fingers so fast. Loved the music I'll check the cd. It may be one I already have. Thanks Kyle for sharing your music.
Absolutely amazing. BRILLIANT! I play piano a little bit myself to, but I'm no where near to being as good as him. Yes it's 2016, 3 years after he posted this video into TH-cam, but seriously........he's really good
Ohhhhhh myyyyyyyy o.o That's so beautiful and i love when you move your hands with the music This kind of music sometimes makes me cry soooooo Thanks for this master piece
All the way through my teenage years and to this day, I have never enjoyed vapid music of the likes of rap/pop. I've always listened for real content. I found that in video games and movies soundtracks. Nowadays it does not matter what genre is it is, as long as their is real content that satisfies my intelligence and need for emotion, then it is good. Don't listen for popularity. Listen for talent. Listen for creativity. It will last you throughout your life. You're on the right track.
I love how he had a clock in the corner to show that he didn't speed it up or slow it down at any points because people always bother him about that.
also because the song of time. i'm so funny right?
Lol
"Or ThE cLocK is On sLow Mo"
The pitch would be screwed up too
His talented and been playing for a very long time. The only reason I can think of people saying he speeds it up is because they are jealous and could never accomplish his skills
damn... he's got certain emotions he can evoke with each version he plays.
SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And a freaking dope keyboard to boot
Zintendo BLACK!!!!!!!!!
By the way, love the majorization of the overworld theme at the end with the descending bassline!
Show off

+Camdyn Standley You mean "lots of lots of training". Honestly I think calling it talent is disrespectful to all the hours he put into his skill.
+Ryodakun So is denying his talent? I'd say it takes talent and alot of hardwork to achieve this.
You conveyed all the emotions in this one song that I get from playing the entire game.

everyone’s talking how good the music is but your setup has that zelda feel and idk why
If I was that big ass clock there, I would've stopped to listen to that awesome play!

I have to admit, I've been playing for almost five years now, and this guy still baffles me.
Something about that clock in the video ticking away while watching this made me happy.

I love that C# at the end, it made this composition meant forever...
I actually liked the 3rd variation the best, sounds like a "happier ever after" ending after a long battle or something haha
Or maybe on the way to battle :D
This dude definitely got no chill. He just rocks it. Appreciate it. Like it very much.

So much emotion in your fingers, it's really beautiful.
I play piano since I was like 6, and now I'm 12.

From lovely to more epic variations, beautiful work around this emblematic theme :)
Can't believe it'll be 15 years this year since the game came out. Still loving the piece, of course.
Each second, I purely enjoy and love the piano and all instruments.
This man is my inspiration to not give up on piano since I got my guitar.
