In my early years I'd want to join Eagle Fang (or even Cobra Kai on my worst days) but my younger temper could have benefited from Miyagi-Do. Now that I'm in my 40's, I'd join Miyago-Do but could use the energy of Eagle Fang. Dimitri is my favorite character in Cobra Kai. everyone likes him for his comedic relief but I've always thought his character was deeper than that. he's had such an interesting character arc, from having zero confidence in his skills to being a pretty good fighter and helping his friend Eli find his own confidence again. I just love him so much!
When the Aunt said to Tory "You're just like your Father." I wonder if Tory's Dad is Mike Barnes, because they both have the same hair trigger temper. Because you know they're probably bringing in Barnes for Season 5 and that would be a good way to link him to the new generation.
You do run into a small world issue with everyone being related but does make some sense with her seeming to know some karate before she joined cobra kai and Barnes seems like the type to leave his family high and dry.
Another Easter egg was when Daniel told Robby about having some kid's blood on his shirt was a reference to KK3 when Silver hired those guys to harass him and piss him off enough to be aggressive and hit him. BTW. Sam is my favorite and always has been. And no, I'm not rich. I live in WV.
I think at some point Sam will see Tory’s reality and they will reconcile. Miguel will meet his father and gets in a fight. Can’t wait to see season 5!

Me too! I still like Sam. She’s not a bad person just like Tory isn’t. They’re both teenagers who are learning from their mistakes. I think they’ll start their journey of healing in season 5.
I don't mind hawk/Eli having an issue with wanting to quit karate and reeling the loss of the persona he gave himself to replace the formerly victim of bullies, I think it's awesome demitiri helped him out of the funk, I like that they are friends again. But Hawk/Eli was never really a part of miyagi do, he didn't connect with it the way Miguel did, he didn't connect especially with Daniel at all, but he does have a relationship with Johnny where Johnny helped him grow to be strong, then hawk not only ditched him but doubled down on Kreese after that scene where Johnny confronted him in school and Kreese not caring about him. Also, all the former cobra kais that lost their spots to Kyler and other recruits that hawk regretted not standing up for, and Miguel, who hawk was tight with when they started their karate journey, they and Johnny are all in eagle Fang. It just seems strange he'd fight against all of them and still not have a scene where he and Johnny are cool again in order for him to join Daniel. I know he and Dimitri are friends, but I like the idea that Dimitri could become the top male at miyagi do and stand on the level of hawk and Miguel and Robbie while Dimitri and sam's closeness with Miguel and hawk could bridge the gap between the dojos. Just feels weird, missed opportunities of scenes showing growth and reconciliation between multiple characters just to hopefully strength miyagi do. Also, I am really enjoying the Kenny, Robbie and Tory storylines this season, if cobra Kai won I wouldn't hate it, but I also think it would be cool to see Eli, Miguel, or Dimitri do well or even win, and some of the lesser known characters who have been there for a long time like Bert getting time to shine. The new girls recruited by cobra Kai and eagle Fang seem pretty awesome too
I agree with your testimony about there needs to be a conversation happening between Johnny and Eli in order for him to go over to Daniel’s side. But I think he is trying to make up for all that he did while in Cobra Kai under Johnny’s leadership- remember especially the Medal of Honor? Even Johnny knew that was a low blow when Daniel came to confront Johnny about it and Johnny turned around and made the students do more exercises until a confession was made. Eli says to Daniel “I just want to do what’s right and what I can for the team” at Miyagi-Do. Besides overall, I think he was the only contender to make it far in the male competition for Miyagi Do and he knew already that Miguel would represent Eagle Fang. If he and Miguel were in Eagle Fang who would’ve competed… Demetri isn’t as great a fighter yet compared to the others as you mentioned. Hopefully we do get that content in season 5. Would be sick awesome to see Bert and the other smaller extra guys do super well. Just like Devon you’ll see later on. Only 6 weeks?!
@@adrianaavila8853 I agree that Hawk did some terrible things while in cobra Kai, some of it while Johnny was at the head, but season 2 and 3 showed that Johnny was working to show that it's ok to be tough without being and A-hole, and about mercy and honor, and how you can be a badass without the goal to hurt others, especially after he was confronted by Daniel after the medal was stolen, and when they showed the difference between Daniel Kreese and Johnny during the beginning episode training montage in season 3 right after eagle Fang was formed. This Johnny who is trying to teach aggression with control and morals is who I wanted hawk to reconcile with, and they might have off screen, but we just never saw it. And the way they've shown, Dimitri was on hawks level in their scuffle during the school fight, I get that hawk is for sure seen as more of a contender, but I would've kinda liked to see miyagi do put faith in Dimitri to show everyone at the all valley that he is on the level of the top guys at the other dojos, like Robbie and Miguel, you know? I don't hate that hawk is with Daniel, I just wish we could have had seen him reconcile with Johnny individually, or seen Dimitri take up a leadership role as the top male contender next to Sam at miyagi do. But luckily there is still a lot to sink our teeth into storywise, and the new additions to the dojos are super interesting, and the new layers to existing characters are pretty great
@ambassador For sure, they might use Hawk to later help Daniel and Johnny come back together. If he sticks with miyagi do, he has one of the top chances of winning next to Robbie and Miguel, all three will have learned some of both styles, but Robbie and hawk seem like they'll have the most exposure to both sides while Miguel seems to mostly know Johnnys style with a month maybe of daniels

(correct me if I’m wrong on that) Sam’s learning to not be afraid anymore (although she’s using this new confidence to be kind of a bully) but both of them are teenagers who are learning about themselves as they grow. Nobody is perfect. I hope season 5 shows their journey to healing and they become friends.

Not gonna lie, I dislike Robbie a lot. I kinda see why some people like him, but ever since getting in that school fight with Miguel and straight up almost killing him, he has shown no remorse whatsoever. Every time he's seen Miguel since then, he is the one trying to start yet another fight.
First, Robby didn't start that school fight. Second, he didn't try to KILL Miguel either. That was an accident. Third, he did and still does feel guilty about what happened and he even served his time in the juvie for it and maybe we'd already have gotten an apology scene but when you see your girl kiss her ex who's the guy you have to apologize to, obviously it's not going to happen anytime soon. I'm not saying he shouldn't apologize. He should and I know he will and wants to but given the constant animosity between them, there's no appropriate time for it. It doesn't mean he isn't remorseful and doesn't regret about what happened. I don't get how people are so giving of Miguel and Hawk's Cobra Kai ways in the past but drag Robby for his honest mistakes? Poor guy had a shitty upbringing with an addict mom, an absent father, had to eat cereals with water in a blacked out apartment because his only guardian couldn't stop choosing random losers over her son so he had to basically raise himself up like a damn orphan but then luckily, had a slight luck on his side. But even that doesn't stay long and goes all downhill because adults still can't act like adults, kids you're competing against don't have any sign of sportsmanship whatsoever and the girl you like can't make up her mind. But still, people wonder why he is so angry.

If he and Miguel were in Eagle Fang who would’ve competed… Demetri isn’t as great a fighter yet compared to the others as you mentioned. Hopefully we do get that content in season 5. Would be sick awesome to see Bert and the other smaller extra guys do super well. Just like Devon you’ll see later on. Only 6 weeks?!
@@adrianaavila8853 I agree that Hawk did some terrible things while in cobra Kai, some of it while Johnny was at the head, but season 2 and 3 showed that Johnny was working to show that it's ok to be tough without being and A-hole, and about mercy and honor, and how you can be a badass without the goal to hurt others, especially after he was confronted by Daniel after the medal was stolen, and when they showed the difference between Daniel Kreese and Johnny during the beginning episode training montage in season 3 right after eagle Fang was formed. This Johnny who is trying to teach aggression with control and morals is who I wanted hawk to reconcile with, and they might have off screen, but we just never saw it. And the way they've shown, Dimitri was on hawks level in their scuffle during the school fight, I get that hawk is for sure seen as more of a contender, but I would've kinda liked to see miyagi do put faith in Dimitri to show everyone at the all valley that he is on the level of the top guys at the other dojos, like Robbie and Miguel, you know?
I don't hate that hawk is with Daniel, I just wish we could have had seen him reconcile with Johnny individually, or seen Dimitri take up a leadership role as the top male contender next to Sam at miyagi do.
But luckily there is still a lot to sink our teeth into storywise, and the new additions to the dojos are super interesting, and the new layers to existing characters are pretty great
@ambassador For sure, they might use Hawk to later help Daniel and Johnny come back together. If he sticks with miyagi do, he has one of the top chances of winning next to Robbie and Miguel, all three will have learned some of both styles, but Robbie and hawk seem like they'll have the most exposure to both sides while Miguel seems to mostly know Johnnys style with a month maybe of daniels

Tory has done some things that aren't good like the school fight but Sam kissed Miguel which made Tory fight her at the school. Plus she cheated on Robby which made him kick Miguel down the stairs. I like Sam too. I dunno why so many people are being so harsh with her. Did they forget that Tory gave her PTSD last season and instigated all of their fights? (correct me if I’m wrong on that) Sam’s learning to not be afraid anymore (although she’s using this new confidence to be kind of a bully) but both of them are teenagers who are learning about themselves as they grow. Nobody is perfect. I hope season 5 shows their journey to healing and they become friends.

Not gonna lie, I dislike Robbie a lot. I kinda see why some people like him, but ever since getting in that school fight with Miguel and straight up almost killing him, he has shown no remorse whatsoever. Every time he's seen Miguel since then, he is the one trying to start yet another fight.
First, Robby didn't start that school fight. Second, he didn't try to KILL Miguel either. That was an accident. Third, he did and still does feel guilty about what happened and he even served his time in the juvie for it and maybe we'd already have gotten an apology scene but when you see your girl kiss her ex who's the guy you have to apologize to, obviously it's not going to happen anytime soon. I'm not saying he shouldn't apologize. He should and I know he will and wants to but given the constant animosity between them, there's no appropriate time for it. It doesn't mean he isn't remorseful and doesn't regret about what happened.
I don't get how people are so giving of Miguel and Hawk's Cobra Kai ways in the past but drag Robby for his honest mistakes? Poor guy had a shitty upbringing with an addict mom, an absent father, had to eat cereals with water in a blacked out apartment because his only guardian couldn't stop choosing random losers over her son so he had to basically raise himself up like a damn orphan but then luckily, had a slight luck on his side. But even that doesn't stay long and goes all downhill because adults still can't act like adults, kids you're competing against don't have any sign of sportsmanship whatsoever and the girl you like can't make up her mind. But still, people wonder why he is so angry.

And what are you on about saying he served his time as if it was his choice lmfao, Robbie was literally running away. If Miguel had not survived he would have been wanted for murder and he would still have run away. Not once did he take any responsibility for his actions on his own, it was all Daniel and Johnny. If anything Season 5 might finally make him a likable character, but up until now, to me, he's just not.
