Can you tell me how is the process to change the bulbs? You didn't show it in the video, it was the most important thing
Wish you would actually showed the process and what the H7 sockets looked like did the have the spring clips.
Can you replace the amber halogen with an led?
What made you use different bulbs when they're both H7?
Hey man, when you bought the headlights from alpharex did the halogen bulbs clip in or did they screen in? I got the same headlights and my halogen bulbs clip in like kind of old school style. I got led bulbs to put in and they won’t work because they don’t clip the screw in. I’m wondering if alpharex sent me like an older style of headlight and not their most updated one. I’ve been messing with this for almost a week trying to figure it out. I couldn’t get my aftermarket leds to screw in to my headlight housing because they clip. Super annoying. Wondering if you had the same issue. I was hoping you had a video of the bulb and the installation of the bulb into the housing. Thanks for the help.
Josh Booker The bulbs that I bought fit just fine with the AlphaRex headlights. They are H7 bulbs so make sure you get those one. There is links for the ones I got in the description if you wanna get those ones. But yes my headlights are like that too, the bulbs sit in there and then twist a little and they’re locked in place, they don’t really clip in or anything. If you click the link in description for the bulbs it might show pics of what they look like so you know what I mean and how they fit in there. Hopefully that helps you out. Let me know if you need any other help and I can try and help ya out!
You can’t get the clip around the led light to clip in?
The Zec I was sent the wrong bulbs. When they sent me the right bulbs the clips went around them fine...well I say fine. It was a chore but I got them to work. They looks great.
I have alpha Rex also but your DRL is significantly brighter than mine. Which AlphaRex do you have??
The pro series in black and they’re sequential.
What color wires did u tap into for the DRL LIGHT BARS?
You don’t have to wire the DRL bar, it comes prewired up to your running light
Low Beam is H7 right? what about High Beam?

Hey man I got these in this week, the headlights. Worked perfectly fine. I then put the hikari led bulbs in today and poof! Out went my drl bar around the headlight on the drivers side. Has this happened to anyone else that you know of? Stage3 said they will send me a replacement but they have heard of this happening before.

The AlphaRex headlights take H7 bulbs in them and the stock headlights take a different size. If you have the AlphaRex headlights they will fit, if you have the stock headlights they won’t fit.

I just checked it out myself. The low beam bulbs are the 2019 bulbs, and it looks like they stopped making them because they came out with the 2021 bulbs. The high beams are the 2020 bulbs. So they currently sell the 2020 bulbs and 2021 bulbs, and stopped making the 2019 bulbs.

How do know know how many Lumens are the Hikari’s? I tried looking all over their website to see the Lumens of the 2021, and I can’t find any bulbs in stock. Thanks in advance

Question: I have 2018 F150 I want to replace my headlights bulb I don't know which one is positive and negative there's a two wire BLACK/YELLOW? Thank you.
NY F150 STX I would assume the yellow would probably be your positive and your black would be the negative. That is what I would assume... but I also assumed when doing the install for my own truck and it was wrong when I guessed about it. I would say try and plug it in like that and see if they work, if not then just unplug it and turn it around. If you get it wrong and plug it in the wrong way then you shouldn’t have any damage to the bulbs or hurt them in anyway or mess anything up. I plugged mine in wrong and flipped them around and it didn’t do any damage, everything worked good after I flipped them!
Although I like the Morimoto XB hybrids, I like the idea of being able to replace the bulbs if they go bad. The entire XB housing needs to be replaced if the bulb goes bad. My biggest concern with these is the white led strip that’s visible when all the lights are off. Great vid man. Truck looks awesome!
Is the bulb for the amber blinker led or halogen?

datboibg21 I’m sure that it could be, but I haven’t done it, the halogen bulb that is in there is bright enough the way it is.

Did you have issues clocking the leds? I have a 17 f150. Trying to install hikari bulbs in an alpharex housing. High beams lock in good at 9 and 3. But low beams lock in almost 45 degrees from that
Yes I had issues with that too. The bulbs never really locked into a position, I just tried my best to line them as close to straight up and down as I could

By the way those aren’t hids on the alpha red those are halogen bulbs hids have a ballast box attached

Brian Mueller Thanks. Yeah I like them a lot, they’re very bright and haven’t had an issue with them. For the turn signals then it is just a clear housing, but it has an Amber bulb and an Amber lens on it. I’m not sure if they will work or not. I haven’t replaced the turn signal bulb, I’ve just kept in the same bulb in the housing that the headlights came with.

@@slvrlightning00 Yes I was able to. If I wasn't able to fit the cover back on then I definitely wouldn't have installed them lol
I thought you could access the back of the headlight by going up through the wheel well?
I’m not sure if you’re able to or not. But you would have to take out the wheel well liner in order to do that.
You can absolutely access the headlights through the wheel well, though it's a bit tight, especially on the passenger side. Pulling the liner back would definitely be required. That being said, having full access to the back of the headlights for LED installation probably isn't the worst idea, especially since the LED's may have to be removed and re-clocked for proper beam pattern.
Both high and low beams are h7's . But you have 2 different leds linked in your description. Can i use either one of them on all high and low beams? Or they're different. Thank you. Looks nice 👌 .
Yes because I used one for the low beams and one for high beams. Yes you can use either bulb on high or low beams, they will both fit in either one.

F-150 EcoBeast Really good! A lot better from the bulbs that the Alpharex headlights came with! A huge difference maker!!
Did you have to reset any error codes via forscan when switching to led bulbs
