My heart actually skipped a beat when you opened that box of blow mold candles! I am 72 and I love seeing the vintage things you guys appreciate. Be sure and check the garbage bags and boxes the old Christmas trees are in. I found a vintage village in the box along with the tree. I Enjoy your adventures.
The old colander and rolling pins have resale value. I saw a wooden magazine rack. They can be uded in ways other than holding magazines. My Mom puts rolled up throws in them.
You guys definitely got quality over quantity this trip. I'm so excited for your blow mold find! How cool is that cooler, so 90s 😎 and I'm loving the vintage coloring books.
The container in the cooler is for items u don’t want to get wet - my mom would put sandwiches in the part so would be cold but not wet from melted ice
The last pick I saw an ancient Egypt set for kids with the books! I had that when I was little it was so fun lol. Its great seeing blast from the past…*
The strainer is at least 66 years old. I know because my mom got it as a wedding gift when she attempted to upgrade it to something that she liked better my sister, one of my brothers, God rest, his soul, and me started a fight in the back room to see who was going to get it. It’s in my kitchen.
The basket at the top of the cooler was for items that you didn’t want to get down in the ice. Like you never wanted to get my dad’s creamer having any ice chips in it or anything like that so things that you’d like cold but you don’t want mixing with things that can get wet with no problem go into that basket up on top. Many many trips many many picnics were served by a cooler like that.
I would of taken the frog and glued it and the Atlas omg for sure and that cabinet was awesome so much good stuff left behind do you guys ever do your own yard sales
Check that little hair clip thing you got in the jury box see if it has any markings if you don't recognize the markings I want you to look it up and make sure you check the one with the old man on it
Laudenburger that should have been the name stamped on the bottom of that basket yes it looked like one of the baskets it was worth a lot always flipping over and look for that name the weavings always like those kind
Saw a crib mattress at the beginning of the video and thought you crafty girls could probably make your own doggy steps from some of that thick foam. Just a thought. Some of them are all foam.
My son's neighborhood had bulk pickup the other day and while driving through I noticed what looked like a bunch of pumpkin pails on top of a pile of stuff by the curb! I almost wrecked the car! I thought oh, Jeanine and Laura will be so proud! :D Unfortunately, upon closer inspection it turned out to be a large blow mold of pumpkins all stacked up together that you could put lights inside - still really neat, but sadly badly broken. I'm gonna keep looking though! You guys give me inspiration!
Did you check out the briefcase with the dad plaques in it. I love that kind of thing if in good shape and maybe leather. Thanks for sharing. This💚🍐❤️🍎 was my first time to watch but wont ne my last.
THOSE HALLOWEEN LAWN SIGNS 😍😍😍. The Igloo is awesome too! They actually just re-released them in that colorway in their Throwback Retro line. Don't ask me how I know😂
I'm going to add this for anyone interested (including you Laura &Jeanne while you are out and about trash picking, especially at school locations). Don't throw away those old rubber soccer balls, that were used in soccer games in the late 1960s, 1970s. Yes, I said rubber. Many of these old rubber soccer balls can be worth hundreds $$$, but they have to be "game balls" If anyone out there has old rubber soccer ball, that are flat and very worn, same thing, don't toss them out just yet. Here's the breakdown.... they must be rubber they must be full size they should be very worn and have been used in games they should not have any dry rot. They do not need to retail air. If anyone out there has one of these old things, I'd like to talk with you.
It's like that saying one man's trash is another man's treasure or one women's trash is another womans treasure to nice have fun doing that i used to do that in my old neighborhood until I moved with my brother up in the hills they don't do that here but if they did do that I would have been doing that to it is fun and you can find pretty good stuff too
Should have grabbed that empty Pokémon box. I grabbed a free wii box last month at an estate sale…. Dude offered me $20 and then $40 fir empty box. He must have been putting a package together. That box would have added $60 to his profit… had I let min buy it. Of course I refused, since Mona is always picking up empty boxes to complete sets. Could have even sold it empty. Ah well… next time! 😁
I can't believe how much good stuff you just walk away from. Y ou are walking away from money!! Gather and every month have a yard sale. Back in the day we lived in a poor ,but beautiful area of PA. Once a week we traveled 125 miles to a large auction, flea market. 5 auctioneers selling at the same time. Prices were low.We could fill a full size van for under 100.00. Once a month we had yardsale mania. Our big driveway was filled by 6 am. We sold for low prices and would do 1,000 at a sale and kept the best stuff for other auctions...made money there. ( Ebay didn't exist then. )More than one way to make money.
Another nice haul.. OK and I’m just gonna say this lol what pisses me off about scrap metal people that drive around and I say this every time they ruin things by cutting the cords and that’s exactly what happened to your blow molds lol that guy that you were talking about that trailer is probably the guy that cut the cords for the copper inside. I don’t mind if they take metal and crap like that but when they start pulling stuff apart and take parts of a gas stove like the top burners and they take cords and snip all of the cords for scrap weight this is the stuff that aggravates me because they ruined it. And there’s a lot of families that could use stoves and refrigerators and certain items that they tear apart. I’m sorry that he cut the cords on all of those blow molds....grrrrrrr🤬
Why did you not go into the trees to see the kitten it was crying for it's mum it seems like it was starving and needs feeding it's mum must of abandon it
I see things I would have taken. I’m not sure what your looking for. You have left many things that would have made you money. I’m sitting here saying take that and you don’t. I’m not being ugly but are you actually taking anything or are you just showing what people throw out. You actually took a jewelry case. Gotta go I’m getting upset I am a picket and your not.

Every time I watch these videos, I’m amazed how much stuff people just throw away
The old colander and rolling pins have resale value. I saw a wooden magazine rack. They can be uded in ways other than holding magazines. My Mom puts rolled up throws in them.
Old rolling pins bring good money..
You guys definitely got quality over quantity this trip. I'm so excited for your blow mold find! How cool is that cooler, so 90s 😎 and I'm loving the vintage coloring books.

Love that vintage cooler! Igloo is actually bringing those iconic colors back. They released a retro edition.
The last pick I saw an ancient Egypt set for kids with the books! I had that when I was little it was so fun lol. Its great seeing blast from the past…*

Wow… those blow molds are an excited find! Cord replacements are an easy fix. Congrats Ladies!!!
When Laura said scrap metal people, all I could think of was it sounded like one of your Goosebumps books. Revenge of the Scrap Metal People!

Amazing free finds, especially the jewelry box and the blow molds.
The basket at the top of the cooler was for items that you didn’t want to get down in the ice. We don't have bulk trash days here, so it's fascinating watching you guys picking! I knew that those blow molds were probably Empire by the Noel font.
Take the drawers out of the jewelry box and look behind them i once found a 18kt gold ring that way!
Love you both you’re my favorite channel I couldn’t watch you guys all day you’re a fab pair xxxxx Sarah uk 🇬🇧 ❤
I still use a jewelry box like that.
I like to call it, "Curbside shopping" instead of garbage picking.😊
Check that little hair clip thing you got in the jury box see if it has any markings if you don't recognize the markings I want you to look it up and make sure you check the one with the old man on it
That big basket with the car mats in it looked like a a Longaberger basket? I’m probably wrong? But look out for those , they are worth money!
Road side picking is fun
It sure is
Laudenburger that should have been the name stamped on the bottom of that basket yes it looked like one of the baskets it was worth a lot always flipping over and look for that name the weavings always like those kind

Garbage pickin is my fave. You absolutely need 2 hands! Teamwork makes the dream work! Thanks for taking us along!
Did you check out the briefcase with the dad plaques in it. I love that kind of thing if in good shape and maybe leather. Thanks for sharing. This💚🍐❤️🍎 was my first time to watch but wont ne my last.
My son has a vintage metal Coca-Cola cooler with a basket. It was for sandwiches so they didn't get soggy or smooshed by ice or drinks, etc. 😊
I can not believe all of the good stuff these people are throwing away.
I think my mother had those trick or treat signs in 1993 they is old 😂🤣🤭
THOSE HALLOWEEN LAWN SIGNS 😍😍😍. The Igloo is awesome too! They actually just re-released them in that colorway in their Throwback Retro line. Don't ask me how I know😂
