Hi in this video i want to show simple trick making armor for action figure
This is one of the very basic way that I usually use to make armor, this way you can achieve a nice and thin armor or adjust the thickness to your liking.
You could also develop the trick to suit the armor that you want to make.
List of the thing you need
1. Clay - if you don't live in my country and need to talk about the clay that you could use, let's disscuss it in the comment
2. Clay roller - or any cylinder that could be use as roller
3. Metal ruler - i use this as the thickness gauge when rolling the clay to achieve the armor thickness i want. You can replace it with any thing depends on the thickness you want to achieve
4. Plastic clip
5. Scissor - make sure it is a sharp scissor so it can cut clean
7. Paper to mark the armor shape
Don't forget to subscribe for more tutorial or if you have any request for tutorial, let me know in the comment

Mabuhay & Hello
Great method! Love that idea of rolling it out in the bag, good for a lot of different maker applications!
The clay you use looks like Apoxie sculpt, thank you for the tutorial, hope you can show us how you do it in 3d printer
Quentron Ozmero. Yes it is
Some other tutorial in future will use 3d print

Viking armour I'm wanting to make
Hello my friend, I want to make arm and leg armors for the character Rikimaru in the Tenchu game in 1/6 scale. Can I make it with the material you used here? Will it be hard and durable without any processing? Can I give them an antique bronze effect by painting them?
@@whitekhan25 i am not sure about the clay you will be using
Cause it might not be the same with the local brand i have here.
But yes to all your question just in case the clay quality is similar.
Do you make your own sculpting Tools
Yes, sometimes.
With tooth pick, or ice cream stick
Or paperclip or any office tools i could use.
LOL
I could know which doll is that body, to buy it please I need your help
What Brand of paint and Brushes you use for
hey brother can you make ancient times weapons like haladie
Fuck off, Apex
Indonesia???? Haloooo... Please create a sheald & armor spartan
Already did base for armor on previous video
Shield could be a good idea
Later ok
I still have several video on the way
I'm wanting to make the Roman General Armour that The Gladiator wore in the beginning of the movie .How can I do it? Can I use baking clay like Sculpy?
If you want to use the technique on the video
I sugget using 2 part clay or air dry clay, so it will hold the body shape for the base
Then do detailing after that
@@wangdennys I want to keep the Armour light .What if I did paper Mache
? The Armour is form fitting both back and front then laced at both sides .I wish I could send u a photo so you'd see what I'm attempting ? Google 1/6 scale Roman General outfit ( Gladiator ) ACI makes it .
Yes paper mache should work too
Will sanding the plastic bag ruin the mold at all? Also great video 👍
Not really
But it will be hard to sand the plastic bag,
@@wangdennys cool thanks for the reply
At what point do you add armour detail? When it is placed on the body?
After the base armor in video dry
Then you start detailing
Either by adding more clay or carving
@@wangdennys awesome thank you for the prompt response
Basic helmet please, how to make rounded helmet
Good idea
Let's start with non removable or removable helmet?
@@wangdennys removable?
Wait removable is too dificult
Let's start with non removable
Keep upload video
the next video coming up in a few days.
Can I use multi purpose epoxy putty to make body armor?
yes you can
Spartan armor please, not halo but ancient Sparta used, like from the 300 movie XD
Also, can the air dry clay be used to replace the clay you are using? thank you.
Not sure every dry clay will work. But you should try.
Making the spartan armor is pretty much the same base like in the video. After that adding detail and sanding.
My advice, dont rush it
@@wangdennys noted Thank you for replyin XD
Can you get the plastic bag off the clay when it’s dried?
Definitely
Very easy
Simply peel off the plastic
dennys wang tried it, works perfectly! Nice tip 👍🏼
@@madosa.customs nice!
thank you for letting me know

Herro
Herro too
Please don't skip the mixing part
+Abysmal Clozdark sorry the mixing is almost 5 minutes and very time wasting for viewer. It is just a matter of folding the clay and then roll it with hand then twist and repeat for 5 minutes or longer if you mix more clay. Much like what i did in the video before skip, repeat for 5 minutes
I will keep the mixing part on next video
Any tips to know that it's already mixed properly?
Usually by color
The dominant color of the clay will be the final result when mix thoroughly
