    Hi in this video i want to show simple trick making armor for action figure
    This is one of the very basic way that I usually use to make armor, this way you can achieve a nice and thin armor or adjust the thickness to your liking.
    You could also develop the trick to suit the armor that you want to make.
    List of the thing you need
    1. Clay - if you don't live in my country and need to talk about the clay that you could use, let's disscuss it in the comment
    2. Clay roller - or any cylinder that could be use as roller
    3. Metal ruler - i use this as the thickness gauge when rolling the clay to achieve the armor thickness i want. You can replace it with any thing depends on the thickness you want to achieve
    4. Plastic clip
    5. Scissor - make sure it is a sharp scissor so it can cut clean
    7. Paper to mark the armor shape
    Don't forget to subscribe for more tutorial or if you have any request for tutorial, let me know in the comment
    Many Thanks & Best Regards

    Hello my friend, I want to make arm and leg armors for the character Rikimaru in the Tenchu game in 1/6 scale. Can I make it with the material you used here? Will it be hard and durable without any processing? Can I give them an antique bronze effect by painting them?

    I'm wanting to make the Roman General Armour that The Gladiator wore in the beginning of the movie .How can I do it? Can I use baking clay like Sculpy?

    • @wangdennys
      @wangdennys  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you want to use the technique on the video
      I sugget using 2 part clay or air dry clay, so it will hold the body shape for the base
      Then do detailing after that

    • @wangdennys
      @wangdennys  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After the base armor in video dry
      Then you start detailing

    Also, can the air dry clay be used to replace the clay you are using? thank you.

    • @wangdennys
      @wangdennys  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure every dry clay will work. But you should try.
      Making the spartan armor is pretty much the same base like in the video. After that adding detail and sanding.
      My advice, dont rush it

      +Abysmal Clozdark sorry the mixing is almost 5 minutes and very time wasting for viewer. It is just a matter of folding the clay and then roll it with hand then twist and repeat for 5 minutes or longer if you mix more clay. Much like what i did in the video before skip, repeat for 5 minutes

    • @wangdennys

      Usually by color
      The dominant color of the clay will be the final result when mix thoroughly
