My family and I are so grateful that I get to do this.
Very nice Crafsman thank you! Would love a _Pt. 2_ on this subject/articulated jointing😊 particularly any continuation on your thoughts/further experimentation/wear & tear update on “that figya righ’ thur”
What do you use to 3d scan? Photogrammetry? Share your setup
Crafsman's voice and sound of rain? That's some zen level atmosphere right there, right there.
Got me feeling so mellow I had to take a nap.
It is that Bob Ross level of calm.
Made muscles relax that I didn't even realize were tense
it sound like Alpha from twd.
@@ravendarkcloud wow, I just thought about it and its hella true.
Having Crafsman in this world is one of the perks of being alive. 💙
Crafsman, you're not long winded. You are thorough and generous. We the audience appreciate you as you are. -signed, Your Steady Crafters
Third?

😂🤣😁
TheCrafsMan SteadyCraftin crafsman I wish we got to see your puppet talk more it’s funny
That's funny!
CrafsMan... Wut?
“He livin’ a different life anyway. He ain’t gonna be lookin’ too far back y’know?”
This hit me hard. 😢
Soon we gonna see Crafsman with a full beard 😄
Yeah, it happened! He grew a quarantine beard.
"There just nothing to it but to do it" is my new motto
came here to say that - you said it - perfect
I would hope that you will release a soundtrack of your music, Music To Crafs By.
yes this
190% would buy
Shut up and take my money!
Eminem reference? As in music to be murdered by?
I gotta have one of those frog figures he’s so cool!
You inspire me to try my hand at real life art like sculpting and painting
Crafsmama's little laugh at the end was precious, and these videos about this skull frog makes me want to make little characters!
When I get in bed and it's cold the blankets help with my "Snugativity"
I like to call it "Cozynicity"
I have two new words x3
I watched while having breakfast, extra relaxin n noticed I ate my cereal slower lol
HA! :D That's wonderful. Thank you for watching!
Do-not-disturb: Enjoying craft instructions from TheCrafsMan 😊
Who else here absolutely loves the music for this channel? It's so cool and calm!
Crafsman, I know the bubbles is a bit of a dissapointment, but the figure still looks absolutely fantastic. It's inspiring to see you plunge headlong info these efforts, and produce such awesome results. Looks great, and thank you sir!
Wow - thank you so much for this! It really does a lot for me reading comments like this.
Crafsman, this is the most inspirational thing I have seen in my 38 years of life. Thank you.
I think the fans would love to see you make and sell custom figures of you, Crafsman.
Aaaannd I just finished your shop tour video. Looks like you're already working on that. Such a cool figure and I am jealous of your shop.
That Berserk shadow box from Glitch is amazing!
I love longwinded crafsman, though. The more crafsman the better, it's so soothing. I miss the kids book readings, too. 😌 So relaxing.
the giggle from Crafsmama at the end made my day. thank you for the video Crafsman! you're a fantastic human bean
Very kind! We thank you for watching, and for being so nice!
LOL! Is this the first video in which Crafsman has had a soul patch?
I wondered that too heh.
It's the first time I've noticed it!
I KNEW IT!! It's so subtle I was starting to wonder if I'd just never noticed it before.
Also, I feel like "Clay Gray" would be a great name for this big froggy fella! It has this sense of gravitas about it. Like he could be walking down the street to get some groceries and people passing by could be like "Whoa, is that Clay Gray?? I thought he was in outer space fighting alien baddies or somesuch." But nope. He's just nippin' down to Krogers to grab some celery.
I had to go back and watch another video to make sure tripped me out
GOASTxMOUSE lol same!
I love the flute stab at the end. It fits so well with your aesthetic. When you do your two-part mold, that’ll give you the opportunity to brush resin in the mold to get those pesky bubbles out before you pour the rest of the resin in.
What would you brush it with? I have tryed to brush resin on the outside of pieces but I can't get it smooth. Not with a paint brush, any way
Some resins you can run a lighter over them to get the bubbles out. I also get a little beading needle sometimes and pop bubbles with that.
Four years later this is still my favorite little creature you have made.
half a hour with the Crafsman making these amazing figures is the best thing I could have wished for!
Im always happy to get a crafsman notification
If these videos were 3hrs long id watch every minute of it... twice probably. Definitely inspired to keep steady craftin! Thanks Crafsman!
This is a fantastic technique, not perfected but on its way to perfection! all the information you share is really usefull!
A 28 minute video on any other channel feels like an hour. With the craftsman time flies by!
Something real satisfying about those ball joints being pulled out. I hope you get a chance to do this frog for the general public.
Love your channel. My wife is a crafter and I am her assistant. Your figures and jewelry are fantastic. Keep making this great content.
I really enjoy this series and watching you figure out work arounds with the issues you encounter with your battle toad
I'm glad you enjoy it! Thank you for watching!
With each passing video, I am becoming more and more likely to make an action figure. XD
IKR! Never cared about such figures myself - until I started watching Crafsman! And now I've got one of his figures staring at me from the windowsill. And a 5# box of MONSTER clay over there, and some of the blue-tipped sculpting tools (never used those for regular clay), and a ton of stuff in my amazon cart (vacuum chamber, etc.). Onna' dese days...
I'm going back over old videos to help keep my mind on an even keel. Seeing these little magical creations take shape helps me stay connected to the world in a positive way. Thank you, CrafsMan!
Crafsman too pure in this world, love u crafsman!!!
There's just something so nice about hearing Crafsman talk. :)
you dont know how much Happy i am for you to finaally release an actual figures formed like this
this is truly blessed
I love the design of your Frogman... and adding ball joints to a custom cast figure is just wonderful. Your personality is just the icing on the cake... or the kung fu grip on the GI Joe... or somethin' like that. You've been making my day for a while now so I thank you Crafsman.
I recently got into building gundam model kits, and I have to say that Crafsman's videos are as helpful as all of the other gunpla videos I've watched together. Thank you so much for educational content with such a smooth delivery!
This dude delivers quality content, great guidance, and support to his viewers. He's the Bob Ross of the sculpting world
I like the little soul patch Crafsman is rocking in this episode.
The use of mold putty to make a mold of a ball joint is so clever! I would have never thought about that! I have to give it a try.
Homemade ball joints for the win! I know its hard but don't stress out about the bubbles, the way I see it it makes it look more hand made. I even like the seam lines.
When you touched that grey turbulent lookin resin my brain flew out the back of my head D:
I can't wait to watch the whole vid later, hard to focus on the deep mind of the Crafsman while working.
Hearing CrafsMama wheeze in the back round is the best thing I've heard all day.
I also had that Psy-crow figure! Love the design of earthworm Jim! Great video as always Crafsman! You make the internet a better place.
Thank you, Chris! And I also really like the design of Earthworm Jim!
After I had written you (a couple of weeks ago) about making a frog character, I found that you had already made this gentleman! I love him and wish he was someone I could purchase. All of your characters are so endearing it is hard not to want them all. Thanks Crafsman for once again putting a smile on my heart.
Also I can't wait to get me a little froggy fellow in the future! He's cute
This little dude has single handedly made me fall in love with the idea of space frogs 😍 he’s sooooo so cute!
Diggin' the soul patch Crafsman, looking forward to the Mutton Chops! 😁
You're right Crafsman that pot is very mesmerous.
Absolutely brilliant. Nice joint... snap! When I hear the words " connect the rocket pack to the chicken's control panel" I KNOW I'm in the right place 😍
Hahaha I was hoping someone would comment on that! As soon as I heard that, I was like “I’ve found my people” 😂😁
Dude I literally put your videos on to fall asleep to and then rewatch them for the content. your voice is too good.
I’m so late to the game and know absolutely nothing about resin use but have wanted to make my own ball and joint toys for years and I absolutely LOVE this guy! Immediate subscriber.
Absolute best youtube personality on the internet! Makes it all seem so easy... love your creativity and toys!
I love the bass heavy song in this video, it's probably one of my favorite steady craftin tunes
😆 the outro was Awesome!!! "You got to tell me baby" 😆 Crafsman....you are the BEST part of my day!! Hi to CrafsMomma!!!
Best part of my day! Thank you again for taking the time to shoot and produce these videos.
That subtle head turn at the beginning.
Blink if you're in danger, crafsman!
I really love watching your videos, CrafsMan. They always put a smile on my face.
You're never long-winded. You always give us important and useful info.
Keep steady Craftin'!
CrafsMan, you're the coolest! This is more than just crafting. It's a real soul-soother to hear a man's voice be calm, cool and patient while he's teaching (and learning/exploring possibilities himself). Rest in peace, Bob Ross and Mr. Rogers, the Crafsman is the next new, kind, teacher-man. Thank you!
Crafsman! Glad to see you putting more of your music into the videos
Your ball joints have a satisfiying click to them that show their quality! Thank you CrafsMan for another great video!
This is a great Easter present while in quarantine! No matter what religion you celebrate, we can all enjoy these videos.
The little skull dealy on the belt reminds me of Sir Daniel Fortesque from MediEvil on the PS1
Nice hat btw
Love the idea of the dump molds, and yeah with a little magnet or a clip it could very easily be a little low cost trinket like a button, pin or fridge magnet.
Dump molds are used by Hollywood model makers. Apparently there's this one model bit that is super popular when kit bashing stuff. In fact, it's used in nearly ever ship model that has appeared in every single Star Wars movie. One shop eventually started making many, many molds of the bit in question. If they had leftover resin they would dump in on the molds. When they cured, they just popped them out and dumped them in a bucket, for anyone in the shop to use.
I have to admit you are one of the only creators I don't listen to at 2x speed. . . not sure what that says about you or your content, but you are doing a great job!!
That little ball joint "pop" at the end of the video was so satisfying!
I haven't cast anything since art school an age ago, but you are making me fall in love with the process again.
Thank you for all that you do.
Peace and happiness to you and your family :D
Awwwe snap! You the best crafsman. Thank you so much 💜 I cant wait to see your little figure all done.
The Crafsman never fails to put a smile on my face.
Thank you for all that you do!
I ❤️ all that you do crafsman. But these two frog gentleman videos are so good! The fact you love making toys shines through, so remember you’re own crafsman advice and keep doing watch you ❤️ and makes you happy!
Figure raises hand to everyone in the comment section: “Ya’ll settle down up in here”
I'm never going to make any of this stuff, but man this channel is addictive.
I think it came out awesome, bubbles and all! Well done; thank you Crafsman!
I started on my own figure inspired by yours when the last video came out and I can't wait to finish it!
Man you are AWESOME!! I could listen to you reading a phone book. Like a modern Bob Ross!
That is cool. I want to make some articulated figures. Never made toys before, but this looks like something I want to try. Great vid. Subbed.
CrafsMan, thank you for making this. This was awesome. I'm a sculptor. As a kid, I always wanted to make toys when I grew up, but, I didn't understand how production and costs worked. Now as an adult, I don't want to be constrained by company designs. This made me very happy to see someone do. It inspires me. I may return to sculpting original designs again.
Love watching your process and the final result and also your hat!
I automatically like the video as soon as I hear "Hel-loh...."
I automatically liked this comment when i read "HEL-loh"
"I guess there is nothing to it, but to do it." - Life motto right there. Needs to be a T-shirt.
Hey CraftsMan, CraftsBoy over here, we use a vacuum chamber to remove bubbles , when pulling the vacuum the bubbles increase in size , thus increasing the chance of them floating to the surface, and when you go back to normal pressure before the mix cures, the resulting bubbles are even tinier due to the 1 ATM pressure pushing them together. I love you channel man, keep it up!
I love that the videos are this long. I can watch for hours!
Your videos are amazing. The way you talk about your projects with so much love is awesome.
"Turbulous" "Mezmerous" I love the crafsmanisms
Your channel is so wonderfully positive and I love that you're trying to pass on your knowledge and passion for making in such an interesting and genuine way. Also, your voice is so soothing.
Me: I've gotta get ready for work.
*CrafsMan SteadyCraftin video pops up*
Me: I've got time.
Today I learned the little beard is called a 'soul patch'. Also a lot about joints and molds.
"Flavor Saver"
@@SkragorSkumdreg Oh no xD
That's how I explain "Ghost" to people too, lol.
Absolutely inspired. And for the record, I actually LOVE a few little bubbles. We all have "bubbles," right? Gives him even more character. Gives him "experience" and etc... Thank you for sharing!
I gotta get me one of these frog toad looking warrior adventure type kinda guys!! Great work CrafsMan!
3 times after I first clicked like I scrolled down to do it again only to find I had already done it. This is a good video I enjoyed.
I don't work with the mediums you use, but I am still inspired by your work. I try to bring the attitude you display towards your art to all of my projects. Thank you for being a role model.
To help with less air bubbles..try putting silicone or resin in a disposable cup at the end of a desk or table..put a small hole in it (bottom of cup) and let it stream really thin into your mold on the floor
I like to think that Mr. Rogers, Steve Irwin and Bob Ross passed the Torch of Wholesomeness onto The Crafsman
I love the way you present your crafting...so unique and I love your sense of humor. Very informative and entertaining...so glad I found your channel :D
My life's new mantra:
"There's nothing to it but to do it." -Crafsman
Hi Crafsman! A hug from Italy, I really love your channel: I learn a lot of nice ideas, it’s very relaxing and it feels like a community here. I’m also very pleased that people are sending you their creations/gifts: it’s all very nice 👍 ❤️
