Aot is one of those animes that you don’t understand why ppl r so obsessed w it, and even think ppl r a lil too obsessed, until you watch it. And then you understand it. And then you become one of those ppl who become obsessed w the story. And then it consumes your every thought for a few months
Wow that is a scarily accurate description of the AOT effect lol thanks for stopping by
My heart will never recover from this series
Isayama will pay for my therapy
My heart won’t recover from this video bro that shit was beautiful I was abouta cry in the middle of work
This video is very through and honestly deserves way more recognition. I like how you go over the character dynamics and how important those dynamics are to the story 😊
Glad you liked the video and yeah man the character dynamics of AOT were probably one of the reasons why I got so invested to begin with haha! Thank you for watching
My first interaction with this show was watching the series finale- but somehow, I think having the context of how it all ended actually made the first three seasons even more tragic
God dude I could not imagine how painful the first 3 seasons would be with the context of the ending
I haven't even watched the video yet, but I just wanted to say that the thumbnail is god-tier
Cannot tell you how many rough drafts it took for it to look okay enough to post lmao glad it looks good
28:48 the most accurate statement literally ever. They all need to be paying for my therapy at this point
Solid plot summary. Heads up: corps is pronounced core not corpse
Stand proud, you cooked.
Glad it was edible lmao thanks for watching
MASTERPIECE ANIME AND VIDEO
Dude great content I love the type of videos you make please don’t ever stop uploading you’ll blow up one day
Thanks for the kind words man! I enjoy making these so I don't plan on quitting this stuff anytime soon. Thanks for watching
What a great video! I truly enjoyed that. BOIS LEAVE COMMENTS FOR ENGAGEMENT
Lovef the video bro! Keep up the good work!!🙏🙏🙌
Thanks man appreciate you stopping by!
47:32 btw this improvement is very little to do with the animation team improving their "understanding".
It comes down to the time available in which to animate (the later parts had much better production schedules), and also which specific animators were available and willing to work on the show.
Arifumi Imai, an animator who's work you largely just credited to Wit Studio, created the 3x2 and 3x17 Levi scenes you praised, as well as many other sequences in seasons 1-3.
He was working for Wit Studio, but later left to be a freelance animator. He was too busy to return to animate for AoT until the final episode, where he animated the amazing final Mikasa + Levi vs Eren odm scene.
Oh wow didn't know about any of that so appreciate you pointing that out man. Arifumi Imai is a legend
@@NotNormalYT np bro, happy to inform! I am a bit of stickler for crediting particular animators and directors for their work, not just the studio they happen to be working at/for at the time.
If you're interested in knowing more about animation and the anime industry, the channels MankoMan and Probably Pretentious do a good job of explaining stuff.
It usually varies depending on the anime, some have much healthier production than others.
Also was seven when this came out
Great video with an outstanding ending!
Glad you enjoyed it:)
W video keep going
damn nice vid broo
Thanks bro
One of the best disclaimers for spoiler warning.
Glad the message was clear despite the incoherent wording lmao
This video was so heartfelt. Using an hour of my day to watch this video was a great choice. I love your editing and your humor is gold. I would be lying if I said that I didn't get a little teary eyed at the end. Keep up the good work!
Glad it left an impact on you my friend. Thank you for the kind words man!
LETS GOOOOOOOOOO The GOAT is SO BACK!!
Edit: Time to actually comment on the work instead of yelling “FIRST!” So… wow. Just wow. The editing style has gotten much better, as well as your script writing no matter how much you make fun of it. And the opening up at the end is so relatable, living the same day over and over. There’s so much to say, and all of it feels odd in one sentence, but all I have left to say is keep up the amazing work dude. I’m behind you the whole way.
I'm glad you found this relatable on some level man and I'm thankful for the kind words dude
Really cool video!! Haven't gotten all the way through yet but it's awesome
Really feels like the kind of quality from a channel with way more subs ha, hope ya get there
And was that Filmora you were using?? I use that too haha
Thanks man glad you enjoyed it. Yea I use Filmora as the main editor and DaVinci Resolve for some effects not possible with Filmora and it's cool to find a fellow Filmora junkie lol
@@NotNormalYT funny enough, I've had DaVinci resolve recommended but haven't actually tried it yet.
I guess the idea that I can have two separate audio/editing softwares to do different things hasn't settled ha,
Is there no issue with importing one fike to another program?
@@linenotter In my experience I haven't really had an issue importing stuff to it. Maybe a small glitch here and there where it won't import immediately and I gotta do it again however besides that it's been a relatively smooth experience for me. Just gotta get used to the interface (something I'm still trying to learn lol)
create video! i love it :D
5:45 false, they only devour other humans, not animals or plants (also "life" )
Loved it❤
Glad you enjoyed it man

Is this just a plot summary?
I cant lie AoT is on the same lvl as FMA Brotherhood to me...i love painful endings.
There is…no fucking way “Jean” is pronounced like that in the dub, right? Right…guys?
