I love this. Owner of the company takes the blame, and their company gets better - BECAUSE THEY DONT KEEP MAKING THE SAME MISTAKE!!! How many companies fail because owners don't view a mistake as an opportunity to improve, just try to blame the operator, the customer, or the equipment manufacturer? Your the best, keep it up!
I see so many guys operating machines with the front tires off the ground when pushing. The machine will push a lot more when all 4 tires are on the ground with all 4 tires getting traction. Why turn a 4X4 into a 4X2?
H. White if u notice they don't get stuck even with the front wheels up and by the time they're pushing so much that the rear wheels alone can't push it then the snow would be coming around the plow cuz theyre pushing too much. And remember the rear wheels will usually be contacting pavement.
Yes, most of the time it’s more efficient to have all 4 wheels on the ground, but sometimes the front 2 wheels off the ground gives more down-pressure for pushing/scraping if need be.
It's the same with tracks. Most people put pressure on the bucket or blade to make a pass but some will not realize to pick it up and let the tracks grab to get all the push or dig power the tracks can provide.
Any time the front wheels are off the ground even a little bit, the down pressure defeats the fluctuating edge and forces it into maximum down position. If this continues you will be replacing the edge more often and wearing out the machine prematurely,
I was just about to rant on that. My old boss would be screaming (old school) you go from all 4 wheel traction to 1/2 traction and say good by to the cutting edge in half a season. All you need is barely 15 degrees on the bucket as the weight and drive of the machine takes care of the rest. Also slow down the speed, the sudden stop may toss the operator out or injure and damage the machine. I've taken a few operators to the hospital from bashing their head on a sudden stop.
Hey Stanley! I appreciate how you correct your employees without be-littleing them. That way they learn the right way without being resentful and they grow to be an asset to your Company, and you earn respect from them at the same time. We need more bosses like you in this Country. Hats off to you. Well done. I really enjoy your videos. Russ from Oregon.
You were fortunate to be able to get your equipment in and out on day one as I've seen repair shops working round the clock fixing hydraulics, broken welds and damaged plows. Sometimes guys are too hard on equipment or not familiar with a parking lot and because of the amount of snow that had fallen, sometimes they would catch the edge of kerbs. I used to love plowing day and night.... although I wish we had equipment like you have now.... 👍
Hi Stanley! I was watching last winter when you were having problems pushing snow with the skid steers. You made the adjustment with going with wolf claw tires. Well I made the suggestion at work and they have bought two sets for skid steers for trying out. If it works out like I know it will we will put on more of them. Thank you!
You are an awesome boss! You respect your employees, you give them all the information they need to be successful and you understand that people are not perfect. I have watched a lot of you'r videos and I have yet to hear or see you do anything that shows a lack of character. You come off as a very friendly man with great energy who is thankful for the blessings in you'r life.. fun and very refreshing to watch. Well done!
Metal Pless in my opinion makes the best plows! They have a live edge system that is phenomenal. No need to worry about manholes or valves that are sticking up an inch or two.
i have just spent 3 hours watching this channel..i watched a few of the best tools in trade shows but somehow got to watching the snow plowing vids.... i dont own a plow but the channel is interesting regardless.... well done
Watched a few of your videos, I really like the way you get your message out, truly helpful. You got my sub today at about 0:45. You started to make an excuse, caught yourself, said nope thats BS and took ownership. That's stepping up to the plate and bunting on base lol
subscribing because of the cat. in my neighbourhood they tore up large chunks of asphalt in 2 places, they tore off a couple mailboxes, bumped into a curbstone with the corner of the plow, it was hard enoth to actualy damage the stone and they drove in to steel railings ment to stop people from driving on the lawn and bent them badly and drove into a steel gate they forgot to open. wonder if they gona do something like that this year as well.
The way you approach these situations with your guys is also important. Using it as a teaching moment instead of a scolding moment also improves the way these guys operate!
@9:41 Stan you're not alone. I get excited watching the snow fly off these big trucks too. Very good tips throughout your video's. You got another subscriber. I am a snow plow addict.
You crack me up! I am so glad I found your channel and the fact that you're a local Minnesotian. I am the same equipment geek you are, and I really value your reviews. I am a one man show now, but I hope grow to a comfortable size. I appreciate your "teachings" and will use the tips for my business. I also really admire how you handle problems and breakdowns with your equipment and employees, hell, I would work for you. Although, I keep and handle my equipment in a manner my OCD allows me to. :) Keep up the good work! Your videos are greatly appreciated! P.S. I am the one who offered you a Snoway Plow demo. Would love to buy you lunch and let you demo the plow. God bless!
I know a guy who bought a new CJ5 and a plow and a steel cab when we were in High School .He put himself through college with that. used it for his daily driver for about 6 yrs. I think it finally died of cancer from the road salt.
Bill Fitzpatrick Wow that's pretty cool. The road salt is so hard on stuff. My brand new trailer is rusting already. My uncle did the same with our 62 Willy's Jeep that we still have today. Plowed snow to help pay for school.
i wish i worked for you! you obviously have a ton of respect for your employees, evident in the way you handle the situation, the way you spoke to your guy and the way you take responsibility is brilliant!
reminded me of Jocko, former navy seal, wrote a book called ultimate ownership, and you completly embodied that in taking ownership for the broken plow, Respect
I like the back drive plow makes sense. I bought another used Fisher ez v 8.5 not doing commercial unless we get buried with snow. Respect to those doing for a living. Adding Truck-lite LED after I went cheap on halogen . Installing used equipment gives me edge because I fix what was wrong with the plow system.
Well, I was not expecting this. I Thought you would have been plowing a dark parking lot and a semi just plowing into You, since your bobcat in a mat black hard to spot in the dark! Be safe man!
Most people dont plow snow in a SEMI.. So not likely another plower woulda "plowed" into him! Imagine, a semi with a 52 ft trailer, trying to turn around and work in a parking lot plowing snow? You did say, Semi "plowing "into him. Suggesting the operator of the semi was plowing too!
Great video, I had a plowing company 10 years ago and I sent a guy out to plow. He came back with the plow in the bed of the truck and a-frame still on the truck. He was hitting the plow banks too hard at the end and broke the plow off. I lost 10 contracts that night we had one truck(88 Dakota) I had been plowing with it for years and never broke off the plow(having Cerebral Palsy I impress people on plowing!) Stan, I didn't take responseabilty when he did this, great video!! Just wish I never gave it up, plowing snow and cutting grass was like a drug for me................. Ken
Just took delivery of an F350 ext. Cab 6.5' bed 4wd 6.2L gas with 9'2" Boss XT V-blade with LED headlights and a Fisher Speed-Caster 900 last fall. It was incredible this winter. Twice as comfortable and cheaper than the 2500HD Duramax from last year. Better visibility, less suspension drop when plow is raised. Only down side is its turning radius and solid front axle. But other than that it was twice as much joy to operate over the duramax, while spending 10's of hours at a time plowing and salting. One thing I didn' notice you utilizing were amber roof beacons? Do you have a specific reason for not using them? Or did I just miss them?
Running a small business is no small thing. My favorite saying is...."experience is what you get when you don't get what you were expecting". Great video with real content. Keep up the good work.
I was also thinking that, I just love how you take the responsibility! (and not blaming the employees) People want to do the best work they can, we don't know everything. That's super encouraging for employees, it makes them want to do even better work!
In 30 yrs of snow removal I've really come to love the Boss setup, they're just well built and the quick attach frames can't be beat. If your talking about anti icing or Deicing then there is nothing better than the VSI brine maker and sprayer setup. I know people are going to scoff but seriously what used to take 1000 lbs of granular salt to pretreat now take about 300 lbs and for what used to take 1800- 2500 lbs to deice where getting bare pavement that doesn't refreeze with about 950 lbs. People ask me all the time how can that work it's simple the salt is activated when it hits the ground you don't have to wait for the moisture from the snow to activated it, the best part is there's no spring cleanup and my facility's love it because the salt doesn't get tracked into the building saving them major money on floor maintenance.
Hey man. Been watching your videos lately mainly because I'm new to snow plowing but not business in general. I like how you have humility. Accepting responsibility. And by the way I know how hard it is to run an operation that size and for what its worth your filming more because you're growing your brand there ain't nothing wrong with that. Keep doing what you're doing brother and yea you may be polish LOL
Uh work for a big company doing snow removal and we use artics, u can break something eles on those pushers, the front of the skis can be wornen down from to much down pressure and uncurling to much. As the side wings / ends "float"
Uh you can break anything plow/ pusher but like i said with proper use. I did snow sunce i was 16 yrs old the artic will scrape better than most. The little triangle cut out on each floating side wing shows position of where curl of mold board should be.If you exceed that yep you will destroy the cutting edge .The skids are ment to wear down verses the wings being destroyed just like others.Any way you wanna plow 90mph like an idiot Dont MATTER what brand you hane gonna be gonna in 60 seconds training is a must EXPLANATION is also a must but hands on traing is the best .
My favorite piece of equipment was a Mack dump truck with a 12' reversible plow on it, I used to plow UPS terminals and piggy back freight yards, Stan I'm telling you if you ever get parking lots big enough to warrant it, put a plow on your Dump truck you will love how much fun you will have and how much time it will save
So I watched the video kinda disagree with you about having the front tires off the ground if you lift the arms up slightly and set the plow o. The ground so all 4 tires are on the ground you have a lot more traction and if your on un Paved areas it will keep from digging in the ground or ice exc have a smoother finish ... less were on plow and equipment and you have better reaction time if you have to lift or move out of the way ... I like you videos
With you making fun of your own Polish heritage reminds me of a story my brother told me years ago. He knew a Polish lady who went into some sort of business and inside there were a couple of guys telling Polish jokes. Without batting an eye she went over to them and asked them if they wanted to hear a good Polish joke and of course they said yes. She told them a joke, speaking in Polish, laughed like hell and walked out.
@@rtta51 no cuz if u hit a patch off hard ice the float will go right over it ..if u have it locked with the slight down pressure u have a way better chance lifting that and having a smoother finish
@@rtta51 pro tip... if its a location u are un familiar with take your time hell even do a walk through of the site first ask the owner about water mains and man holes
@@boltactoinbarney cheaper than snow wolf for same size if you get the standard cutting edge. At least in canada, my quattro was 11k and the metal pless of the same size, but with longer wings was just over 10k. With the live edge would have been 18k
Good job. When I use that style of blade o float the blade. It really helps with concrete parking lots and you hit a bad joint. The equipment seems to feel smoother as well
I was thinking the same thing. My Deere 332 has float, and anytime I put it into float it stays there. Never ran one of the snow pusher blades for skid...
Searched for a comment about floating the bucket, yes you can if your machine allows. It provides much more longevity of cutting edges and it helps reduce the rounding effect on the cutting edge. If the angle is kept consistent then floating the blade creates a extremely sharp cutting edge that shaves the packed ice in highly compressed areas and reduces the need for pressure. BUT it only takes 1 of the operators to use the machine differently to loose the cutting edges angles and start the down force war all over again. The cat skid steers floated well in forward movement however the bobcat would ram lock?? when going forward with the bucket. the boom was still floating but due to the angles of the rams if the bucket had the chance to grab it would lock and not float up, when using the roller, snow plow and bush cutter/mower this was not and issue. The bobcat was one of the early ones that had all controls on the joysticks (none foot pedal). the cat was a 246c? from memory.
We have a box blade very similar to this one. We used it on a John Deere 244j and now a 324k high lift. Both use float when they operated the plow. I do have a friend who uses a regular box blade on his bobcat and he just keeps it level with the ground adding no additional downward force. Even when I scrape with the bucket on my CAT 257D I don't push down on my bucket we all found just letting the blade do the work was the best solution. It took a new windshield and a mild concussion for me to realize you can't force the blade to make a better clean.
I ran a bobcat 650 with a kage innovations plow. Loved the ability to remove the cage to clear parking spots. The cage also hops up over curbs when pushing piles over the curb.
Working for a state highway dpt. I have seen an office lady(everyone plows in snow a emergency) grind a 3000 pound interstate plow until the bolt holes on the drivers side were just gone. The first full hole was about halfway down the plow. She put the plow down before she left the lot and did not pick it up a whole 12 hour shift. Mind you this was with double cutting edges, the front edge is 1inch thick high carbon steel. The back is 3/4inch high carbon steel with a carbide insert that runs the full length of the cutting edge. In her defense she was not a truck driver, had no desire to be a truck driver and was not hired to be a truck driver. But someone had the bright idea that all employees had to have a cdl and everyone had to plow. Even the little old ladies and gentleman who had been working a desk job for 30 years. This little money saving measure cost us god knows how much money as tax payers. I saw equipment damage just in my little corner of the state in the 6 figure range.
Just a DIY guy here... Asphalt and concrete make quick work of steel. On my first snowblower I ground through the skids/sliders until the cutting blade was also destroyed. It only took two seasons in Columbus, Ohio, weather which isn't all that snowy. But, I usually do around 6 to ten driveways of the neighbors as a goodwill gesture in addition to clearing mine. Being a DIY guy, I just fabricated up my own replacement skids from scrapyard steel. But, the effort took some shop time -- not really worth the savings. However, I still didn't want to grind through skids at that rate in perpetuity. The next go-around with coming up with a solution involved outfitting the snow blowers with metal wheel rolling casters. So far, the casters are working perfectly. I do have to keep them oiled due to road salt conditions. But, they don't wear out as compared to friction skids and the blower cutting blade metal never experiences wear.
I don't know if you read these messages or not but here's something that can save you time and money. I saw the one skidder that was riding on the rear wheels. The bucket was the standard size. But think of this machine like a farm tractor. You want it moving as much snow and covering as much ground as possible without putting too much back pressure on your bucket or blades. In other words you could attach another bucket on each side to cover more ground as long as the snow wasn't too heavy and you didn't lift it like the backhoe tractor was doing. It wouldn't have to be other buckets. Cut up old tractor tires and mount them on the sides. I'd put them on and off manually but smarter people would figure out how to do it with hydraulics. And just mount a Go-Pro camera on top of the machine, not your body. You only get the one. Thanks.
Alex Behrens with the wings folded forward, if the operator tilts the blade too far forward, it will cause the leading edge of the wings to wear faster. The new floating edge compensates for this issue. When used on a truck, the truck does not have a tilt function, and not an issue.
Its up to the business owner to train his employees on the way he wants his work done and how to use his equipment . This eliminates worker mistakes and any damage done after proper training is because of misuse !
@SpartanChalo13 Yes yes as Cherokee I should be on the east coast Where I grew up Rather then in Arizona taking care of my grandmother where she wanted to retire to.
Thank you, you just taught me about the down pressure on the machine. I didn't know you should only be able to slip a piece of paper under the front wheels. Thumbs Up
so glad you corrected you crew on the proper way to operate YOUR gear. It honestly drove me nut every time you showed them running the way they did. The way I have explained it to guys is with a File an the edge of of a piece of metal. Take the file with no pressure an ride it along the edge of metal, how much comes off the metal. Hardly anything. Now take an PUSH down hard on that file an go across the piece of metal, that time you probably removed a huge amount. Now picture the file being the length of payment you plow. How much snow could get under the first way. NONE. Only one reason to run the old way now, it they don't respect you, an if that's the case, time to find someone else that want the job.
Hand equipment: Fiskars snow shovel with the bent bar, which makes it easier to lift correctly, and actually get snow on the shovel. Blower: Honda HS on belts. A really steady and easy machine to work with. It chews thru 50 tons of snow pr.hour. Bigger equipment must be Volvo L70-110G. For smaller sites, a gotta go with Lundberg 5200, 4200 or 6200. This is a Swedish brand of small wheel loaders up to 8 ton, and can be equipped with a 5m blade or so, if needed.
The best thing to use if it's equipped is "float" or "balance" mode. We have a little garden tractor we plow with sometimes, you push the joystick down until it locks for float, bucket rides nice and smoothly across the concrete. Also if you hit a crack or something, the bucket will ether go over it or the front of the tractor will go up, keeping it from busting pins or bending the bucket.
Thank you so much for explaining how the damage occurs. I live in VT and own a very small John Deere tlb (Series 1). I use it to move snow in my own yard only. I also use it all summer with forks for tree cutting and removal. The cylinder damage that can happen due to too much force is something I had not considered. I will definitely use my gear as you showed. I had some very bad habits I will correct.
I went from V Blades to all Wide out Blades ! I have a Fisher XLS and Western Wide Out. For those who may not be familiar they are 8' blades that extend to 10' and the sides fold in like a box blade. So you can run at 8' straight 10' straight or 8' with scoops ! These blades are rated to catch 40% more snow than a V Blade ! V Blades are usually 8' 2" and when you put to V position you only have about 6" catch width compare to a Wide Out Blade has a full 8' catch width !!
I like the fact that you took the blame for it. The boss I see on camera is one id want to work for. I really hope that’s how you are off camera as well. Great job.
After many years of running only bobcat I like the new Caterpillar skid steers with hard filled wheels. Not nearly as much bounce or tread wear. Only downside is the cost and being pressed onto a rim. Good video with good points. Always watch you edges.
Love the video, love watching how you guys work, and especially love how you take responsibility for everything. You can't watch everything, but you have to watch everything. God bless.
On every snow removal attachment for our skid steers have a little plum painted black for the mount and orange for the garage that moves freely and can be seen from the operator position. When the blade is level the orange piece points directly down so you evenly wear your wings
Stan as your main edge wheres out on your blade, you need to angle the blade more forward to cut and stay off the shoes. This leads the door edges wearing out because guys don’t open them up more to compensate. My guys are famous for this. One winter i put on 3 sets of $300 door edges. Now i dont let them use it lol. I get 3 seasons to a set of edges if i am on the machine 90% of time. The 6-ways are the best innovation to plowing since the power angle blade.
This video got me amped. Screw Florida and the heat, bring on that snow already! I like how you talk about keeping an eye on the equipment, its the best preventative maintenance their is.
To first start off, Stan I like your recent editing of your videos. For trucks I like exspandable wing plows( preferred fisher, western, or blizzard now snowex). So much more productive. For heavy equipment I like the metal press plows but they are just way to exspensive. I lik the Quattro plow and the fast tach plows( just like a KAGE). I like steel edge plows also
I love to plow hate the winter! I got into it when with my ex 14 yes ago granite most time I was just riding along but I learned a lot! And when I first started plowing I was just a natural! I’m trying to decide to go south where warmer or north were more snow make more money! The only reason I love won’t is plowing! I just love doing it! Not very many people will say that!
Haha true that! You're probably a rarity there but I feel that to some degree..sometimes it's really fun but boy can it get old too 😴 Glad you enjoy it, we need people like ya!!

Yes, most of the time it’s more efficient to have all 4 wheels on the ground, but sometimes the front 2 wheels off the ground gives more down-pressure for pushing/scraping if need be.
That kind of snowplow you don't press down on it's just stupid
It's the same with tracks. Most people put pressure on the bucket or blade to make a pass but some will not realize to pick it up and let the tracks grab to get all the push or dig power the tracks can provide.
Solution is simple, a tracked skid

Hi Stanley! I was watching last winter when you were having problems pushing snow with the skid steers. You made the adjustment with going with wolf claw tires. Well I made the suggestion at work and they have bought two sets for skid steers for trying out. If it works out like I know it will we will put on more of them. Thank you!
That's great ! Thank you and glad I was able to help out
You are an awesome boss! Well done!
Thanks Matthew, I really appreciate the great comments!
Metal Pless in my opinion makes the best plows! They have a live edge system that is phenomenal. No need to worry about manholes or valves that are sticking up an inch or two.
Thanks for the input!
i have just spent 3 hours watching this channel..i watched a few of the best tools in trade shows but somehow got to watching the snow plowing vids.... i dont own a plow but the channel is interesting regardless.... well done
Appreciate that Brain and thanks for watching !
One would think that a snow plow manufacturing outfit would have a better plowed yard.
Thank you !!
The way you approach these situations with your guys is also important. Using it as a teaching moment instead of a scolding moment also improves the way these guys operate!
Agreed!
snow plow factory doesn't do snow plowing on it's parking lot 🤣
Hell no. Same way as I'm a mechanic but hate working on my own cars... why do it for free if most of the time you get paid a lot?
You shouldn't criticize yourself for being polish you are an extremely intelligent person love you videos keep doing them
Who else is watching this in bed 🛏🛏🛏🛏🛏🛏🛏🛏🛏
On the toilet?
@9:41 Stan you're not alone. I get excited watching the snow fly off these big trucks too. Very good tips throughout your video's. You got another subscriber. I am a snow plow addict.
Thank you, I really appreciate it !
I like how he forgot 10 seconds later what he was just told.
haha yeah
God bless!
A Willy's Jeep is our plow vehicle!! Lol.
Better than a shovel 👍
I found this channel just as we're bout to be hit by a snow storm here on the east coast. Interesting.
Glad you found us, thanks for watching !
reminded me of Jocko, former navy seal, wrote a book called ultimate ownership, and you completly embodied that in taking ownership for the broken plow, Respect
Thanks Craig !
I live in central Alabama, I don't remember ever even seeing a snow plow.
You are a very lucky man, and are not missing much! ;-)
What he said^
I like the back drive plow makes sense.
AlexMoto the lights aren't a giveaway?
AlexMoto hmmm the black plow in the middle of all that white snow...
Ken Surratt I said at night. Have fun seeing that😂
AlexMoto yes with all the lights on the skid it's just fine. Not like they are ghosted out too.
Ken
Thanks for sharing Ken and thanks for watching !
Your screen name is telling of why you bought a Ford. Look.
Running a small business is no small thing. My favorite saying is...."experience is what you get when you don't get what you were expecting". Great video with real content. Keep up the good work.
my best advice for snow removal or equipment is living in Arizona ;) I dont know what snow is anymore, haha
Lol, good advice Peter!
World's greatest boss ever! Taking ownership of this rather than making excuses... I wish we had more of these bosses in the world.
Thank you and thanks for watching !
He's still doing it, show him how to do it, don't just tell him!!!
I was also thinking that, I just love how you take the responsibility! (and not blaming the employees) People want to do the best work they can, we don't know everything. That's super encouraging for employees, it makes them want to do even better work!
I agree, thanks for the comments!
You don't need to try to get any subscribers. Your videos do that for you👍
Thanks for watching Georgie 😀
Thanks for sharing and for watching !
Who knew snow plows where so technically advanced! Take Care
Thanks, you too!
Arctic Sectional best scraping box money can buy .only thing you can really break in the rubber block's on proper use
Thanks for sharing Dennis 👍
Uh work for a big company doing snow removal and we use artics, u can break something eles on those pushers, the front of the skis can be wornen down from to much down pressure and uncurling to much. As the side wings / ends "float"
Metal Pless is the best scraping plow, nothing better on the market.
Dennis mcclintock who are you saying this too ? We never said about beating up a plow. Metal Pless is the best plow on market.
The Quattro is definitely a game changer for snow plowing. I wouldn't use any other plow for skids since using the Quattro.
YES! Yes, i get excited about crap like this. Lol
Haha awesome!
Me too....lol
My favorite piece of equipment was a Mack dump truck with a 12' reversible plow on it, I used to plow UPS terminals and piggy back freight yards, Stan I'm telling you if you ever get parking lots big enough to warrant it, put a plow on your Dump truck you will love how much fun you will have and how much time it will save
Benny Bruin what year is the Mack?
Are you related to Richard Rawlings LOL just kidding cool video brother
Agreed!!!! hahahaha
About as arrogant
My favorite snow removal tool is the sun and a humid subtropical climate. That combination works quite well!
Appreciate the feedback Dustin and thank you for watching !
Love when customers hover around the back door ...trying to lift up a back garage ... not annoying at all
With you making fun of your own Polish heritage reminds me of a story my brother told me years ago.
Haha awesome!
I have to say I’ve work with a few plow guys and you are by far one of the best bosses I’ve seen at least on video anyway : )
I appreciate that Tim, thank you !
Wouldn't it be easier to run it in "Float" position?
I agree. Maybe they don't know what that is.
@@rtta51 no cuz if u hit a patch off hard ice the float will go right over it ..if u have it locked with the slight down pressure u have a way better chance lifting that and having a smoother finish
@@Aseinou Until you hit a manhole cover.
@@rtta51 pro tip... if its a location u are un familiar with take your time hell even do a walk through of the site first ask the owner about water mains and man holes
i like how you talk to your guys and you do a very good work
Metal Pless 100% best snow pushers!!!!!!!!!
👍
100% expensive too.
The equipment seems to feel smoother as well
best snow removal option?? live in a warm climate.
Haha ok agreed!
Stan I appreciate how you take responsibility for your company a lot of owners don't do that great job 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Cant you just put the bucket into float.
FishFind3000 float only works in reverse on the bobcat ssl, it just overrides it going forward
Yea, the "everyone need to know how to do this" idea, is never a good one.
It just makes for unhappy equipment, due to unhappy employees.....
rusty schackelford I
rusty schackelford I
haha, that's awesome. government employees don't care!
Sounds like Idaho...
But, they don't wear out as compared to friction skids and the blower cutting blade metal never experiences wear.
you should do more ventrac videos
I'll keep that in mind, thanks!
Thanks.
The original design was bad to begin with they should’ve been metal from the start I use one of these on a loader
Alex Behrens with the wings folded forward, if the operator tilts the blade too far forward, it will cause the leading edge of the wings to wear faster. The new floating edge compensates for this issue. When used on a truck, the truck does not have a tilt function, and not an issue.
Stan, as a small business owner I really respect your attitude towards your employees mistakes.
Thank you
Its up to the business owner to train his employees on the way he wants his work done and how to use his equipment . This eliminates worker mistakes and any damage done after proper training is because of misuse !
As a resident in Arizona my best snow removal tool is the sun. Very little snow here and it will melt after a few hours of sun exposure.
Wish we had more of that here 🌞
Andrew H stolen native land
@SpartanChalo13 Yes yes as Cherokee I should be on the east coast Where I grew up Rather then in Arizona taking care of my grandmother where she wanted to retire to.

Dude, way to own up. Love your attitude. Hope you have a good group of guys working for you.
You bet, thanks B!
Stop trying to be Richard Rawlings!
Who the hells Jack Knockelson
Thank you, you just taught me about the down pressure on the machine. I didn't know you should only be able to slip a piece of paper under the front wheels. Thumbs Up
The boss
so glad you corrected you crew on the proper way to operate YOUR gear.
Thanks for watching & for sharing that Greg 👍

Taking the responsibility like that makes you no boss but a dam good leader! and when you said it's my fault I said I want to work for you!
Boss
Hand equipment:
Fiskars snow shovel with the bent bar, which makes it easier to lift correctly, and actually get snow on the shovel.
You're welcome Chris!
I love Fisher Plows. The extreme V plows work great 10 years and no problems and the minute mount system is nice and quick, and strong.
Thanks for sharing 👍
I like the fact that you took the blame for it. The boss I see on camera is one id want to work for. I really hope that’s how you are off camera as well. Great job.
After many years of running only bobcat I like the new Caterpillar skid steers with hard filled wheels. Not nearly as much bounce or tread wear. Only downside is the cost and being pressed onto a rim. Good video with good points. Always watch you edges.
Love the video, love watching how you guys work, and especially love how you take responsibility for everything. You can't watch everything, but you have to watch everything. God bless.
Thank you Cydeline, really appreciate it !
I´m using a Lännen 8600E backhoeloader with Drivex 2.3 meter wingblade. I enjoy every moment i plow with this machine!
Thanks for the tip and thanks for viewing !
Tow-master wing plows and underbody mounted snow plows we use for the county are game changers
Haha! Polish! I like watching snow plows as well! Big thumbs up!
Thank you !!
The mark of a good leader is owning the responsibility. Well done.
Thanks Kyle !
This video got me amped. Screw Florida and the heat, bring on that snow already! I like how you talk about keeping an eye on the equipment, its the best preventative maintenance their is.
Thanks for the great comments and thanks for watching !
I like steel edge plows also
Cool 👍 Thanks for watching Chris
I love to plow hate the winter! I got into it when with my ex 14 yes ago granite most time I was just riding along but I learned a lot! And when I first started plowing I was just a natural! I’m trying to decide to go south where warmer or north were more snow make more money! The only reason I love won’t is plowing! I just love doing it! Not very many people will say that!
Haha true that! You're probably a rarity there but I feel that to some degree..sometimes it's really fun but boy can it get old too 😴 Glad you enjoy it, we need people like ya!!
