Great video Stanley. Met these guys a few years back when this blade first came out and demo’d the 6-10 on a tractor. This unit is absolutely incredible for cleaning parking spots between cars when we go do our final cleanups! It also excels in tighter loading docks as well! Very productive unit.
@@coreywillis9417 we just demoed it as our 4066 has loader arms. We bought a cotech blade though. It’s an ext rev 6-10. They’re built extremely well! If I didn’t need to load salt I would’ve bought one of these. The mounting brackets for the tractors are where Stanley’s blade shines.
Perhaps the most advanced pusher? Seems highly versatile. But with so many moving parts that might be more chances to have problems? Then again if the company is Canadian, they do know a thing or two about snow and how to move it effectively. Thanks for the excellent video, Stan!
I think the Arctic is better in a few ways, but if you are one that trailers a skid steer around, want to haul it legally, and have a lot of production it’s hard to beat. Time will tell on the longevity of it. Thanks for all the great videos only complaint is we need more videos!😂
Although I live a few states to the east of you, we haven't had the snow, like you have had. Today, we're supposed to be near mid 50s. Next week, we're going to be close to 50s. We have no snow on the ground and haven't had much snow at all this year. We've had a few bouts of heavy snow, but then it warms up and it all disappears. Tuesday and Wednesday 50s, then Thursday and Friday 30s, then upper 40s for next week. Normally, we would have a typical winter. My neighbor hasn't made in money in snowplowing part of his business. He's looking to lawncare instead. I remember the blizzard that hit the Midwest in 1978, but was only 2 years old at the time of the 1967 blizzard.
Great piece of equipment. Brings efficiency to a new level. I've seen these before and the design never ceases to amaze me at the thought that went into this.
I love the concept of it great for when you’re constantly on the move from site to site, but that artic is way better at scraping that sticky snow, the free float on this one takes away from the force to the ground and you would expect the weight of all the steel to make up for it I just wasn’t seeing it
Im sure it’s great new. How will it hold up after 3-4 seasons of getting smashed into curbs and frozen snow piles. My guess is those wings won’t slide in and out so easily and I haven’t even gotten to corrosion from ice melt. I’ll take my 10 year old Arctic Sectional HD over that any day. These engineers never have to fix this stuff in the middle of the night with 4” of snow on the ground and -10 temps. Less and simple sometimes is more!!
Stan it’s no arctic sectional doesn’t scrape as well but if doing large areas at different sites nice to be able to transport and not have to remove. That’s why I bought a 8’ Arctic but it’s been sitting haven’t had to put on loader this year
i wonder how that would work in gravel, or stay-mat. i often throw plenty of stones with my snow blower, but i would love to be able to push snow too or back drag when its conditions unfavorable to blow in. but then again, if only John Deere made a better snow blower for my 1026r. it works most of the time, but it clogs way too easily. uses three bladed thrower before the chute, but i think the chute geometry needs work, to be more streamlined. and, maybe a little more power too. perhaps a hybrid would be a great idea too, considering fuel economy, even if 5 gallons diesel lasts me a month or more haha. still, anything would help with the prices increasing all the time.
Gotta love the French Canadian brand love. May not understand the guys too too well, but once you see their stuff work. You know what they’re talking about haha 😂 These things are mint for commercial parking lots no doubt. Same with driveways tbh.
Stan, You Have Been Showing Some Of Coolest Pushers I Have Never Seen 😳 Wow Now That One's A Game Changer 👍 Such A Slick Design 😁 Stay Safe And GOD Bless You Always ✝
One thing I noticed is that it's a pusher and a dragger.. And you don't get the snow built up in the corners. It is almost impossible with the side boards that rotate.. Nothing more nerve racking than snow build up in your square pusher and it won't push as much as you expected. Yes it will push but the wind rows are more noticeable..
Hey Stan! Still watching obviously, but I remember you had a video with the guy on the phone up in Canada a while back. They had it on a jd tractor and it was a contest with a skid steer.
I'm from Ontario and took a trip out to trois rivieres and noticed almost everyone runs this pusher on the front and a blower on the back of their tractors. I also noticed everyone's front lawns had snowbanks as big as their houses.
Literally do 99 percent of what this pusher does with the one I fabricated from 2 2×12 angle iron and industrial rubber edge. It's been snowing long before all these add ons.
At the airport we had Cotech, Artic and Metal Pless snow pushers, on my favorite tractor (John Deere 8-280 HP) I had a Metal Pless 10-18 if I remember, fully extended I always left 2 small tracks of snow at the extension point, never a super clean job, I had to make another pass with the plow half retracted, but we had mostly fixed wings, I would have loved the flipping wings, we only had flipping wings on a Deere-744 with a Metal Pless that when fully extended wings out it was almost 30 feet wide, but mine at 10 foot wide you are limited of where you can access and plow, but a 7-12 is capable to go almost anywhere...and to be able to back drag like that is awesome!
Interesting and educational video as always. It will be interesting to learn how durable it is overtime with the amount of moving parts and lack of rigidity. It’s easy to get caught up in capturing the right angle and footage when filming and forget that you are interfacing with a piece of equipment that can amputate a hand or finger in an instant with the accidental touching of a switch by the operator. Keep focused on your safety when filming and use a pointer that allows you to keep your arms, hands, and fingers a safe distance away. You will be safer and what you are trying to point out will be more obvious and precise to the viewer. We love your videos and do not want you to have to make them one handed.
F**k JD and every snooty elitist new world order scum that works there. They're not welcome at my door. Not everyone who works there is bad but we got plenty around here who are exactly what I just called them. Edit: run whatever brand you like btw.
Wow, someone put some thought in that. I agree with one of the other comments though, it's getting real expensive for these things. They better knock some serious time off your schedule to make it pay for itself.
Id love to give this thing a try pushing the snow we DONT have LOL! This thing is awesome! Hows that Cat machine been working for you after all of these years? Hope you have an awesome week! Have you had many snow events recently?
😎👍 - "in the world" does raise a question - there are many other countries that need, and build, machines for moving/clearing snow but how many have english language channels?
Looks like a good plow for small tight lots.Especially where people won’t move their cars.Don’t see it taking the abuse like the arctics.Doesn’t the company Cotech make feminine products.
could watch hours and hours of that kinda dynamic plow work. LOVE IT!

did you end up purchasing one or just the demo?

Sure didn't scrape very well. Might be the poly edges or the float feature.
Simplicity is the most direct path to competency.

Soon the pusher will cost more than the skid steer.
It does cost more than some 😂
probably already there 😬
I would love to know how much that thing is my guess is $20,000

That is a fantastic pusher blade. I can see you 'inventing' all kinds of things to do with it.
Seems nice but looks like they need to stiffen up the springs so it doesn’t collapse forward so easy.

I am concerned with all the moving parts. Everything works good now but I am wondering what happens when something doesn't move.
You never cease to amaze with these new plows
That is awesomesauce Stan!! This will change your game!
That's an awesome pusher. Enjoying your videos Stan pushing snow. While rest of us seating here hoping for it snow🤷🏾♂️.
Nice! `Thanks for showing the details about this attachment.
Looks like great weather but probably flipping cold. Maybe negative 15 degrees Celsius (no idea in the other temp style)

Awesome for trailering, can't wait to see it in fresh snow...

I still like the arctics when you compare how the cutting edge is on the arctics compared to the cotech
Gotta love the French Canadian brand love.
May not understand the guys too too well, but once you see their stuff work. You know what they’re talking about haha 😂

It didn't scrape well at all in this video
Wow... & that concrete you were rolling sure wasn't fluff... Thanx!

I did notice that it does not seem to scrape all to well over packed in snow. What do you think?
You can get it with a steel cutting edge. This is great for driveways they don’t want to scratch up
Does it not scrape down to pavement? Never really saw it scrape clean
I like the Arctic better. Seems like it gets a better scrape.
Might be the poly edges
Ok, Stan, get together with these guys and the Muskox crew and design the ultimate expandable blower pusher!!
Love your content, keep it up!
Thats awesome how you are doing the plowing between the vehicles
Hey Stan! Still watching obviously, but I remember you had a video with the guy on the phone up in Canada a while back. They had it on a jd tractor and it was a contest with a skid steer.
I was just about to comment this same thing.
So badass Stanley!!
A Wide-Out for a Skiddy! Slick Rick! I mean Stan! ❄️ ❄️
This must be the one for the no scratch and sniff client 👌
Sweet stan the articulation set up is simlar to my mvp3 westren plow
We use them in Québec with a lot of snow !! They are tough and great snow plow !! The best by far 👌👌💪🏻great vids stan!
i can agree ive seen these get tossed around they are tough
It didn't scrape well at all. Not sure if it's the poly edges or float feature but that's an issue for me.
I'm from Ontario and took a trip out to trois rivieres and noticed almost everyone runs this pusher on the front and a blower on the back of their tractors.

That looks like an awesome pusher. I hope mechanically it holds up to the abuse for ya. A lot of moving parts.
Right I can see this being used in driveways and small parking lots. Not really for bulking out huge lots
@@lesleyboeder1798 for its size it works for any situation you would put that size machine

Cool pusher! What sunglasses/safety glasses are those? I like the way they protect the eyes.
Definitely a time saver , great video.
Staring always shows off the good stuff Timmy though it didn't seem like it scraped as good as the others Maybe I'm Wrong I love the skinny fat idea

Great video, awesome pusher! I want one 🦚
Not gonna lie that with a steel cutting-edge in the smaller size would be perfect on my s185 out on the farm with how much it can change and flex
As always awesome content wow what a AZZ kicker my opinion Best TH-cam channel ever
Remember Tractor vs Skid steer vid this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Cotech😉
What an amazing pusher. Truly a game-changer. It would of made this 10 times better if you had it on a deere skid steer instead 😉

Definitely a cool pusher, I would be curious to see the scrape in fresh snow though.
Hey when we going to see that Arctic plow that hooks to a truck?!?!?!?😅😅
Nice plow. I was wondering when someone was going to make a pull plow that pivots. Bet one is in your future.
That's a pretty impressive piece of equipment.
Getting ready to go Salt. Doesn’t scrape very well with that Polly cutting edge, steel edge will probably clean nicer.
Wonder about a extendo dirt versatile bucket mulcher piece
A metal pless can't be beat
here to help
Looks like fun!
Stan, you kick ass brother
Look kind of a cool and unique pusher blade!
If this doesn't excite you, then we can't be friends. Lol amazing
Bad ass plow. The cat certainly isn't working like the ASV
Have one I love it but it does start to bind when switching from back drag to push
Super super cool 😎. Price?? Thanks 😊.
Another awesome tool for the job.
Love the versatility! Hate all the moving parts! Plus the cost... I'm sure. I'll stick with the snow wolf!

Neat machine. Really handy.
That would be perfect for apartment complexes. I’d hate to see how much that cost!!
I'm guessing 30k
Just under $20k
Not even close to an arctic, however it does roll snow very very nicely
Doesn't scrape very good though
Awesome vedio
I wonder if steel would scrape better or if it's the float feature that leaves so much snow behind.
That’s awesome!
Love the pusher
That’s awesome, im sure it works great until it doesn’t lol
The Batmobile of plows!
What is better for pushing the snow, Tracks or tires?
snow tracks definitely

Oh boy that's a hard choice. Check out my videos for some in depth info on em 👍
