      Felix and Charles should coach Dubov & Magnus. It was really pathetic watching these two try to emulate the genius of the wooden shield, but you can tell Dubov is scared to play it and Magnus just doesn't understand. Sad.

  • @mycommentpwnz
    @mycommentpwnz 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Very Very Very interesting spot @ 17:13.
    Dubov moves his dark-square Bishop to A5.
    And, upon first glance, it appears Magnus should move Rook C5, to have a double-attack on the bishops on the A/D files.
    Yet, Dubov would undoubtedly move B4 if Magnus did this, and that seals the game as it comes w/ an attack on the rook & a pin. GG.

    6:40 could Bf1 Qa7(since i figured the outcoming position of Qb6 is worse because you need the knight on b6 to attack whites bishop, so you allow the rook to come to a1 with tempo), Ra1 Qc7, Bc4 Kb6 an improvement? If the knight captures the bishop, whites Queen gets centralized and the Rook can come to e1 support e5

    At 13:49, is there a reason Dubov couldn't have played bishop to e5 with check and captured the rook? I don't see any reason he couldn't have, so maybe both players just missed it, or is there something I'm missing?
