Great video Dan. Heal strikes have been my problem for a while so I will give this drill a try.
I love the other similar tip using a concrete block instead of a towel ! Reminds me a little of when I went to the doctor with respiratory issue. His advice was to just stop coughing and I would feel better.

Great! Great! Great! Nobody else has this solution. I swing in to out! Worst case is short hook. Best is nice long draw. Thanks for giving me a way to fix my problem.
Great video. But in my humble opinion the most common reason of heel strikes for amateurs is a severe over the top downswing move that throws the club out the target line. Shanks on irons would then go well together with heel strikes on driver.
Great video dan more tips please, any we can practice indoors need to find the middle for more consistency.🏌🏽

Very interesting. Would have been to see the trackman numbers showing your inside to out path Dan.
I'm still wondering how to un-trapped a stuck draw into a tight cut. I've found that practicing the push draw on the range is so harmful to my course game. Some slicers would love learning to hit a draw and I get it, but they just don't know how awkward it feels to come so far from the inside under the plane.
Maybe do a video on what causes the in-to-out path with a toe strike? That's what I have typically struggled with and it is every bit as destructive as you say it is.

dan, at 6.27 your backswing is very flat, (well below the shoulder line) I suffer the same, will this be another cause of a heel strike?
@@DanWhittakerGolf cheers for the reply. im 6 foot , but normal arms (i think) i,m fighting this flat swing and my heel strikes are disappearing. tough game!

Dan, I noticed with irons my heel strikes feel most pure. And center strikes feel absolutely awful. What’s with this?

Great Drill Dan....... I missed the Ball, but I hit the head cover 100yards down the range LOL. I managed to have two Heart Attacks last week, so I'm confined to the house (no Golf, no Gym & no driving) for the foreseeable future. So I'm relying on your vids to stop me from getting too bored. Kitty is already threatening to put me back in hospital!!!!!
