- A week ago today, the lives of 67 families were forever changed, and hundreds of others will never be the same.
It has been a week since an American Airlines plane and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter collided midair over the Potomac River near Reagan National Airport and all 67 victims have now been recovered, officials said.
Officials said the chief medical examiner is still trying to identify one set of remains positively.

I think it's relevant to investigate the mental and emotional state of the helicopter pilot at the time of the collision.
I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU! MENTAL IMPLICATIONS AND SO CALLED HUMAN FACTORS ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES! AFTER DECADES OF MY OBSERVATIONS OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR, I CAME TO THE STRANGE CONCLUSION THAT SOME OF CONTEMPORARY LADIES MAY TREAT THEIR DAILY ACTIVITIES CONNECTED TO THER DEMANDING JOB POSITIONS - FOR INSTANCE AS A MILITARY HELICOPTER PILOT - AS IF THEY WERE RIDING, JUST FOR FUN WITH FRIENDS, A ROLLERCOASTER AT AMUSEMENT PARK! THEY SEEM VERY EXCITED AND HAPPY TO BE THERE AND DO SO! THEY SEEM SOMETIMES COMPLETELY DISCONNECTED FROM HARSH AND DEMANDING REALITY OF THE JOB THEY ARE ON AND CONCENTRATE ONLY ON THEIR PLEASURE! CITY LIGHTS AND BRIGHT BEAMS OF MOVING PLANES - INSTEAD OF BRINGING THEIR ATTENTION TO - CREATE FEERIES OF REALISTIC ILLUSION OF FANTASY WORLD! THEY MAY LOSE SENSE OF DUTY AND PURPOSE! THEY MAY AT MOMENTS FORGET, WHERE THEY ARE AND WHAT FOR! MONOTONY OF ENGINE SOUND COULD ONLY MULTIPLY AND BOOST THESE EFFECTS AND MAKE THEM SLEEPY AND THEY CAN FEEL LIKE LEVITATING IN UNREAL DREAMY ENVIRONMENT!
IN SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES THERE IS VERY DIFFICULT TO ABANDON SUCH SEDUCING WORLD OF IMAGINATION, FANTASY AND DEAMS AND RETURN TO BE JUST A MERE HELICOPTER PILOT ON DEMANDING TEST FLIGHT OVER WASHINGTON UNDER VERY DIFFICULT AND DANGEROUS CIRCUMSTANCES OF VERY BUSY AIRPORT VINCINITY!
I AM CURIOUS - IF I AM ALONE WITH MY OPINION - OR IF SOME FOLKS SHARE MY POINT OF VIEW?
Who in the heck would young Rebecca give her life for? Who on the ground gave the copter the perfect time to take off to impact the airliner...
Military helicopter supposed to fly below 200 feet. That's why the black box info from the chopper was important. In your words, if everything was grounded, there wouldn't be an accident.
Oh I thought POTUS already told us what caused it.
why heli fly above 200 feet? Why?!
Analog gauges on the L model Blackhawk. An input error of .1 inch of mercury on altimeter calibration is equal to 100 feet of altitude, example: 29.82 versus 29.92 which is standard atmospheric pressure at sea level. Video clearly shows the UH 60 was flying at a consistent altitude prior to the crash with no last second inputs to deviate from flight path.
@@DavidJones-hr9bn ALL THAT SAID - THE MERCILESS TRUTH IS THAT - IF FHE PASSENGER PLANE WAS HIT AND CRUSHED BY HELICOPTER AT 325' ALTITUDE - THE HELICOPTER AT THAT MOMENT MUST HAVE BEEN AT THE SAME 325" - NO MORE AND NO LESS!
