Brosnan was always my favorite. He was also my first Bond. So he will always hold a special place in my heart. But Craig just blew me away. Granted, it's mostly the writing, but Craig's bond is grittier, rougher around the edges, and just impressive as shit. I'm glad this is one series over the past few decades that got the reboot treatment. It really needed it, and I feel that Brosnan was the best sendoff for that "era." The way the last three films has progressed has really been amazing, and I can't wait to see where they take this.
The thing I started to notice about the Craig/Bond series, is that as a reboot, _Casino Royale_ shows an entirely different Bond, one that is younger and a bit more reckless on his first few assignments, but as the films progressed to _Skyfall_ and eventually _Spectre_ , Craig's Bond would slowly but surely evolve into the James Bond we've known for so long. By _Spectre_ he is shown to be a bit more mature.
I think he's referring to the Walkers brand of crisps. digitalcontent.api.tesco.com/v2/media/ghs/9e13df7c-3b57-4d50-8886-122b627892aa/snapshotimagehandler_1555425766.jpeg?h=540&w=540
Hey Unusual Suspect, did you see "Kingsman: The Secret Service"? I ask cause director Matthew Vaughn and writer Mark Miller thought of the idea while they were getting drunk in a pub together and started complaining about how spy movies these days were so overly serious and lost all sense of fun. The result of this conversation is a movie that's like if someone took "Men in Black", combined it with "Kick-Ass" and filtered it through old-school Bond tropes (crazy gadgets, eccentric supervillains with worldwide schemes and lairs, etc.).
Do you plan to review any more Bond films? If so, I'd like reviews of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and "Licence To Kill" as they're my favourites.
You see, Suspect, whilst Vesper and James are arguing about buying Bond back in, Eva Green is enjoying a game of tiny elf tennis. It's a rare occurrence during film production, but it happens. for more information, contact Luna Lovegood by polka-dot homing parrot.
I think you might have missed a small detail. This film is the "first" in the story. And Brosnan has gotten more "development" so Craig isn't supposed to be the usual bond, at least not yet.
because in order to have a product placement said company must a agree to be in it or they pay the producers to add it ether way a lump some of dosh changes hands
I like Craig better because better acting and he is closer to Ian Flemming's interpretation of Bond. Flemming's Bond is cold, cynical, and brutal while Craig brings human emotions to Bond and make him more human. Bronson is more looks wise and he sticks what the film fans (who never got a glimpse of Flemming's interpretation Bond) are use to.
Fleming's bond though is so sexist, homophobic, racist, and egotistical if he was American he'd probably be the perfect republican candidate for any office in the red states
Its weird to think that Craig has now been James Bond longer than any other actor. While yes hes not matched Moore's 7 films (or Connerys if you count Never Say Never Again) Craig has now spent more years playing Bond than either of them
It's probably for the best that they made it holdem poker the card game as it's a very popular game in the novel the game is called chermaine de fer also known as baccarat and is probably 1000% more impossible to understand than poker few people play it anymore it's the card game he plays in Dr No at the start and the game he plays with Xenia Onnatopp in Monte Carlo in goldeneye if I've seen the Dr No scene once I've seen it a thousand times and I still can barely get my head around it
This movie rocked. Totally re-vitalized my love for the franchise. I'm more a Dalton fan when it comes to James Bond but Craig has impressed me. Boy, you've got way too much time on your hands to make such a heavily animated video, man. Cool final breakdown though.
I personally think that Daniel Craig was the better Bond, I love how he is more dark but has a little bit of humour as well. And to be honest I think he is a slightly better actor, not that that Piers Brosnan was a bad actor, just Craig is slightly better.
In general, the newer bond films actually seem quite a bit less risqué, in regards to the involvement of bond with, and the pursuit of women, both in the films intros, and plots... A little change of pace, can sometimes allow us to feel something, as we either accelerate, or decelerate, rather than staying constant, so I kind of find it welcomed, but miss it at the same time...
You say one of them wasn't British, and then pointed to the Australian one. You do realise that Brosnan was Irish, not British, right? So that's two who weren't British
Actually, Someone else than bond killing le chiffre goes with the logic of this movie : it breaking the codes of the franchise. Because they want to "kill the father" and create their own new version, because it's the begining of the characters, so he is not James Bond yet, so the codes are not supposed to work yet, whatever, the movie is breaking many of the saga's rules. JB who dosen't give a crap of how his cocktail is made, the Austin martin being destroied without a proper car chase, a opening credits without naked dancing girls, JB being brutally tortures, killing all the JB girls, no gadget, no Q, no money peny, and no dramatic killing of the villains from JB. So it isn't really a problem seeing than it is what they wanted to do, breaking all the traditions of the saga. But this is a relatively risked artistic decision that may not work for everyone indeed. And this "breaking code" method can work great like in this movie or the first Mission Impossible movie, or work really poorly like in the last Terminator movie.
But I just finished watching Spectre (without having seen any other 007 movies besides Goldeneye) and it has JB caring how his cocktail is made, opening credits with dancing girls, Spy Car Car Chases, a surviving Bond Girl, exactly one gadget, Q, and Moneypenny. Not to mention the villain monologuing while Bond is strapped to a torture table. So I call false on your comment!

Did you guys know that in Spectre, the grey guy with the ponytail is one of the guys in front of Craig in the huge hall scene when whatshisface is seen for the first time. This scene is also in the trailer, but the guy is edited out
You know. After the lady says sorry and the elevator falls into the water, you should've put that scene in from The Spectacular Spider-man episode Persona where Black Cat says "Oh. Was it something I said?" and then you would say, "Either that or she doesn't like him that much." That would've been funny.
Connery wasn't the Original Bond The first Bond on Film Bob Holness (Yes, him from Blockbusters) was the first Bond when on the radio before first film and no he wasn't the sax player from the song Baker Street
Yes, but Mr White (the old guy who was talking to the Ugandan general and got shot at the end) was telling him to trust Le Chiffre with his money and the general, was asking how he does that.

@@cinephile9885 Goldeneye takes the top spot for me. Licence to Kill is right behind it however.

Daniel Creig kind of looks like Jeremy Rener.

This is my favourite Bond film and boasts one of my songs: "You know my name"
"I know what the M stands for: Moron!" Funny thing, Denbigh said the exact same thing in SPECTRE!

The Unusual Suspect Isn't Sean Connery Scottish?
