- Hello from BELIZE! I've been on the island of San Pedro for the past 45 days, and with the current Coronavirus lockdown, I'm not going anywhere soon. Many people consider Belize to be a very expensive country, especially the islands of Caye Caulker and San Pedro, but in this video, I'm going to show you just how far $10 a day can go!

The green plums are sooo good. We tend to like sour and spicy/salty in Belize that's why we eat it with pepper salt, but we also sell those plums ripe when they're juicy and its sooo good. Your videos make me miss home so much 😭

Those seagrapes you said they are actually called knips And you are supposed to peel the skin and then eat the meat in between the skin and the seed

Belizean food is delicious because its real food that is fresh without any additives at all. natural. when he said watermelon juice its real watermelon from a watermelon. its so good.

Question for you! I'm heading to Belize shortly. Are you allowed to enter if you haven't already booked a hotel or AirBnB? I wanted to backpack around and wasn't sure if they're a nation that requires you to already have a reservation.

@@BrentTimm i went two days ago, loved it! Plan to go again in an hour. I mentioned to them, that I saw this video, and that's why I went. The server laughed. Also went to Neri's tacos twice now. Thanks for the recommendations! One more thing. For souvenirs on a budget, do you recommend a place in San Pedro? Or even in the city? Or San Ignacio?

We also call it orchata.... like in spain. not "hor"-chata.... in spanish the H is silent.

Why the price of goo are high in the island, it is because they have to pay freight to get it out there 🤔 and they pay alot too.

True but I agree with @raneisha banner. My favorite way to eat them is with stewed (soupy) beans, diced avocados and Marie Sharps🤤. Also great with cinnamon sugar and ice cream or jam.
Our watermelon juice and coconut water has helped me so many times for my hangovers in Belize😭/back home
