Um, your information on San Pedro isn't right. It's NOT attached to the mainland and you CANNOT drive to it. It's an island and the only way to get there is by water taxi. Trust me, I know... it's home. Otherwise good video...☺️

I get where u are coming from. San pedro the town regarded as an island, as it is not attached to mainland Belize. The town sits on ambergris caye, which the caye itself is not a true caye as the landmass is attached to mexico's yucatan peninsula. And that is a fact. And yes, awesome video.

Beaches in Hopkins and the Placencia peninsula. ATM, Barton Creek and Caves Branch caves. Go to the Mountain Pine Ridge region and see Caracol, MANY waterfalls, plus the cool landscapes. Toledo and Orange Walk have lots to see as well.
I think my favourite thing about Belize has to be their national anthem. Who could forget the inspirational and awe inspiring song, "Don't Stop Belizeing"?
Belize is amazing everyone should visit, to many places and to much to see all on one trip. Anywhere you go will be memorable :) TH BELIZEAN WAY OF LIFE!

Just a correction San Pedro is an Island. It is in no way connected to the mainland, not even by bridge. The only way to get there is to get there by boat or a domestic flight from Belize city. Great video I'm glad you guys had a great time in Belize.

@@melissataylor881 I love going diving so it's a most. At the end of the village theres a Caye full of coral around its really nice an ofc the resort have lot of thgs for you an am at the airport 😅could be your guide but on a srs notice everything the guy said you can do in placencia
spending 4 days in Stann Creek in the southern part of Belize. Then, I have 3 days to go somewhere. I love nature - jungles - birds...could you suggest somewhere to go for those 3 days and what you would do in Stann Creek? Thanks
@@patkeeg1 so sorry I was off the net for some time yea. But since your down south I would suggest Hopkins village an monkey river that's my top 2 places. Other places would be Cayo its just one of the best places to see nature.

Belize is in my travel bucketlist now.
I recently visited Belize, and while I was there, I visited Crooked Tree island, a Bird Sanctuary, and a paradise. I stayed at Birds Eye View Lodge, located on the ledge of the lagoon, and tI especially enjoyed the boat tours around this freshwater island. It was something like none ever. Also, I was told the names of Tillett, Gillett, Wesby, and Codds had discovered this island while hiding from the British, the Spaniards, as they were all British Pirates from around the mid-1700 century.
The zip lining and repelling looked awesome!

Ambergris Caye is technically attached to Mainland Quintana Roo, Mexico.

"Actually, Ambergris Caye is not really a caye but rather the end of the Yucatan Peninsula." One can live in san pedro but not all knows its history and geography.

Having been to Belize three times for a missions trip, I got to explore this amazing country three times and it truly is an amazing, underrated vacation location. I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in going here!

You will not regret it. Make sure you go to the San Ignacio + San Pedro, Hopkins and/or Placencia. You might consider the Lamanai and Punta Gorda area.
Was there for 11 day and traveled from town to town. And yes it's worth it. I miss it everyday! San Pedro and Hopkins were my favorite❤️❤️ I want to go back!!

@@ornellamartin6316 for San Pedro I stayed in Caribbean Villas Hotel and in Hopkins was at Lodge Jaguar Reef, a bit expensive but such an experience! The one in San Pedro is like 10 minutes walk from the town! Be careful at night! Don't follow anyone at night somewhere. San Pedro is sketchy at night but just use your intuition!! You're gonna love it

A really nice place to visit in the Cayo District is "Belmopan Beach Adventure Park" it's a family owned park located near Belmopan the countries Capital. It has a private "Secret" Beach on the river, Horseback Riding, River Kayaking, Tubing, and some other things were offered as well like I think Beach Weddings and Horse Wagon rides. You can find them on Facebook and Instagram.

Yes the Great Blue Hole is not really one of the top destinations in Belize like that. So much more to see that actually doesn't even involve the sea/reef.
