I go for a gyro over a falafel most of the time. Try the falafel sandwich next time. Also, they’re really famous for their banana shake. It’s a winning combo! My six year old can’t get enough of the shake.

I recommend on Santa Teresa Blvd the Hawaiian BBQ place. The sign says Daily Donuts and Hawaiian BBQ haha. You know how San Jose is. 😂 It’s amazing though. The Hawaiian BBQ chicken is amazing. It’s in the Plaza De Santa Teresa. 💖 The large plate is $12 something and the regular is $9 something. Definitely recommend going.
The trick to eating banh mi without hurting the roof of your mouth is to eat the sandwich upside down. The crispy sharp top side towards your tongue, and the softer bottom towards the roof of your mouth
I've tried most of these places, they're all good, I think my fav is Egghead (I love the Eggy or Egghead salad). I also love bun beo, but it's best eaten with chicharrons and slices of fresh jalapenos (and the fish sauce of course)😋 - yummers!
