i just started playing mono red because i was having bad luck when i saw a meme about idiots playing mono red for wins and it legit works.

14:26 You should have brought out Ilharg which in turn brings out Terror or Drakuseth for extra overkill lmao. Great content as always, I have been playing a similar deck since the exp came out and it's hands down my favorite deck this exp.

Just remember that Ilharg puts a creature on the battlefield tapped and attacking. Putting Drakuseth into play with Ilharg's ability doesn't trigger the attack ability.

I've been paired, for 5 times in a row, with mono red aggro^^ and not in ranked but casual play^^ it was harsh, but I left with a 4-1 win ratio, so all's well that ends well

I think I have or can craft all those, was going to wait for Ikoria to craft anything but I've wanted to do a Purph deck so much and I've got most of the cards already. Might have to give in and drop the hammer.
yeh red decks can be annoying, hazoret was lame in standard, embercleave is lame, but nothing is as lame as a card with the words "counter target spell"

Drakuseth is so much fun to play, opponents scooping in 3, 2, 1 .. :D Suits of course even well in a reanimator deck

I play a deck similar to this idea, but I splash blue for some better drawing power. I didn't think to add Anex I'm going to have to try that. I also run Storms Wrath to help the board sweep.

Omg it's big purph! He's my brawl commander and I also named it big purph. Try it in brawl with plenty of looting/rummaging to smooth out those bad draws. It works.

CGB is one of those land snobs? It's fine to enjoy same art lands but, it's also cool to enjoy a sweet mix.
I'd add Ferocity of the Wilds, but it might be too slow. I only play Big Red in both Brawl formats.

Now THIS is how to play mono red
Now I come back to this deck after bans, this deck is a clear proof that Fires is/was broken; an all 4-lander hand should almost never work; but it does, because fires gives you 15 mana turn 5. The fact that you gave up 6 mana on turns 1-2-3 don't matter because you get 8 on 4 and 15 on 5.
i literally did this deck 1 day ago but i built it in control shell while you went for aggro, i think your version may be better than mine but certainly less janky xD
