Old geezer, 5years old is keeping up! Cant wait to play it on q3, with res 3072x3380 px, and maybe just maybee on 120fps. Im able to play brechers on highes settings, and it have dynamic lightining & shadows with more open invoirement.
developing on quest 2 can bring limitations, on ps5/psvr2 for example there are a lot of loading screens when entering or exiting certain areas even though the ps5 could easily stream the information straight to the APU. But as we see quest 2 getting dropped more and more and give the quest 3 the spotlight. These limitations should in theory dwindle.
Cheers for doing this wonderful comparison. I'm a q2 owner and this looks badass for standalone! I'll be waiting for q4 minimum before I upgrade😂❤🎉 q2 pretty good for us old gamers that enjoy story, atmosphere and experience. I'm not here counting pixels 😂
I brought the quest 3 this week and the clarity and freedom of no wires just makes it highly unlikely I’ll play my PSVR2 again, unless an incredible exclusive gets released in it.
Most of these games are still built with the Quest 2 in mind, even the new Metro game was made especially for the Q2 crowd. Makes sense since there are way more Quest 2 users out there than the newer gen! But if you’re on the Quest 3 and want a sharper image-even by 2x-and higher FPS, you’re gonna have to tweak it manually. There are tons of tutorials on TH-cam for this, though! You’ll find everything from 'How to Boost VR Graphics Like a Pro'. It’s a bit of work, but it’s worth it if you want that crisp, next-level experience.
I’ve got the option to play VR on my PC, but the whole setup process is such a hassle. It’s like a mini workout just to get started-first, you crouch down to turn on the PC, log in, set up capture programs, tune all the settings to make it run smoothly for each game, then scramble to find the headset. Don’t forget to connect it to a power bank, because if you’re using headphones with an external amp, the standalone battery barely lasts an hour. It’s a solid 10-15 minutes of prep before I can actually play, and honestly, it feels way too inconvenient. A lot of people just don’t get this-either they’re limited to standalone VR, or they’re still hyped about their expensive setup and convinced it’s worth all that effort. But every setup has pros and cons. The huge advantage of standalone VR is that it’s quick-just grab the headset, power it on, and maybe a quick 30-second setup, and you’re ready to go!
@@juancarlosalonso5664 I do and the picture does look better on the Oled panels but I get tired of the wire and having to adjust the sweet spot. It’s just not as clear as when I use the quest 3.
Thanks. I already have set up patreon , buyme a cofee and TH-cam Subcription - links are in the description. But to be able to buy Quest 3 i guess it's impossible with current popularity of my work. I might be also get over this or visibly limiting my acticity here, it just takes too much time and effort without any actual benefits and progress. Thanks for your support though, it means a lot to me.
In PSVR2 they are playing PCVR, that is, the glasses are connected to the PC and it runs the game, that is why it looks so good in Meta Quest 2 and 3, it runs natively using a Snapdragon XR2 processor, that is, a high-end phone processor.
@@kloakovalimonada sure, but Quest 2 is older mobile tech and any comparison is kinda silly. At least Quest 3 has a newer chip with enhancements over the Quest 2 version.
Because if it runs this well on Q2, it automatically means it'll run better on Q3. Can people really not extrapolate? Also, there's far more Q2 out there, so more people would want to know how it would run on their headset.

For a stand alone it looks super good

00:43 There's a very noticeable difference here if you're looking at the wall. Meta Quest 3 doesn't have light glare reflections, while PSVR 2 does.
Note. This isnt a compare how it look inside VR, just a compare how it look at the screen :)
Playing it on psvr2, the oled lenses are perfect for games like this and the haptics implementations are great, not to mention the better visuals.
Agree this might be the best implementation of haptics yet. Although Synapse puts up some stiff competition.
this does make me wonder how much of the game
and level design did putting it on the quest have a effect on
this game

Thanks for the comparison. I own quest 2 and was questioning if it will be able to run it. I'm pleased it does :)

Hi Cyco, that looks super good! Hope you get to try Squat Algorithm too on the Quest 2 for free!
Quest version looks poor compared to PSVR2 version but for standalone it's decent.
Quest version is really impressive
Does anyone know if the Quest 3 build is better or if it's using the Quest 2 build? This is pretty impressive for the quest 2 standalone btw.
awesome, VR its amazing
wait wait... its standalone on quest 2???
The comparation result IS your opinión, because until you wear both headsets and try them, It IS impossible to tell. What Is your sincere opinion?
If thats stand alone for meta quest 2 then thats good.
Not bad Meta Quest. Dang PSVR2 cost more than a PS5. Meta Quest 3S starts at $300

So you play metro on quest over psvr2 ?? Ok mate sure you will👍
simonuk1213 I don’t believe you have a psvr2, you wouldn’t play this game on a quest if you did.

We need more SBS like that, too bad that this game is in rough shape and overhyped.
can you set up a cup of coffee system so we can donate and help you get a Quest 3s?

@@ozzun6789Wrong the PSVR2 is connected to PS5 that's why it looks good, otherwise it would be a PCVR v Quest 2 comparison.
@@VRCore. Graphically it is the same as PC...
Meta quest 🥔
Why not Quest 3?
Because 20 millions of people own Quest 2

Bro lots of people are stuck with q2. There will be countless q3 demos
Meta Quest is much better
u blind?
You blind? Psvr has much better textures and lighting.
Also FOV is higher on ps5
LOL no
