Upgrade time for me. I was offered a S11 but requested a S10 because I already had supplies and it worked for me. It was less expensive (half-price) for one that was returned with low hours. I checked when I picked it up and it had 300 hrs and a 4G modem.
I disabled my modem - put it on "Airplane mode" ... I am NOT giving Resmed FREE access to my sleep medical history. It's not like they ask you either! Have you seen this video: th-cam.com/video/WUcpc73mdhY/w-d-xo.html&lc=Ugy4uT0Yr3C6rdEDd2V4AaABAg.9YhHOAXUuDu9YihpfnLbm0
Very interesting never knew about that. I'm on the BiPAP machine a ResMed aircurve 10. And I have 2661 run hrs and I've had it for only a little over a year. Thanks for the information Nick
I got very lucky and found a slightly used Airsense 10 locally with only 100 hours on it (and a 4G modem). The fellow selling had only used it a handful of times, then decided to quit smoking, and apparently didn’t need it again. It cost me less than what I had paid out of pocket over and above our insurance contribution for my Airsense 10 for Her last fall. Before buying I looked at the hours to be sure he was being truthful, and he was! It was a great find!
Hi Mate. Where can I buy an airsense 10 motor from? I'm in the UK. I have searched for ages with no luck. Also I found a used s9 for spares on ebidder, do they use the same motor?
I am not sure if anyone can help a girl out, but I have this machine and the face mask I have is a female/ Small mask, but the issue I am running into is the FRAME that the face mask cushion unit snaps into, those arms that attach to that framing that you connect the face mask straps to... over maybe 4 or 5 months they start to weaken and tear away. Is there any way you can by the Face Mask frame that face mask cushion snaps into? I have more than enough face mask cushion replacements, but that frame set up it snaps into is the part they only give me one of once a year... but it doesn't last a year. I am trying to avoid spending $100+ on a full-face mask set up when I do not need the cushion.
I've got 10,569 hours on my AirSense 10. I'm two months away from having it for 5 years. Now it's making a whistling noise inside the machine. I hate to pay for a repair when I'm so close to being able to get a new one with insurance.
I didn't know much abt hrs before i bought a used one few years ago. It turned out only used for around 1000hrs. Only found after buying. Was relieved once found the low k's..🤓😏
@@CPAPReviewshey from Arizona. My S9 houred out about 9 months ago and I reverted back to my S8 that I used to use for travel. The power button stopped working one night and quickly found a work a round which was to take the button pad off. Use a set of good buttons to turn it on and unplug the machine. This way when I went to use it simply plugged the machine in and the CPAP turned on everytime until I permanently repaired the buttons with CaiKot 44 conductive Silver/Carbon Coating. I won't go into details but I was blessed through a family friend with an Air sense 10 auto set over the weekend with only 18hrs. Now I need to do my homework to see what I need to do about the sd card and if I need to reset it to factory specs or just set the settings for me and run the hell out of it. Lol Thanks for all you do. 🤙
Damn it…wished I knew this before I bought what I thought was a brand new Airsense 10, turn out it was used for 1/2 a year and the dealer didn’t even bother to change the air filter which was grey😡
When Philips sent me my reconditioned machine, they sent me one w 22k hours. Basically, they sent me someone else's worn-out machine for my almost-new one
Very useful info! Checked mine today, 4,681 hours. Should have a lot of "K's" left. Thanks!
Very handy tip! Greetz from Belgium!
Great info, just bought a used one. How do I register it under my name?
as always, great resource!

Clear data.

Everything I have read says yes. There are some new motors on eBay right now but the prices are insane.

There are sites you can buy just the headgear from, even Amazon. You just need to know the model number and name and go from there.

Not much you can do brother. Perhaps rent one for a couple of months

Do you really recommend buying a used machine? Aren't there health/safety concerns with that?
I heard it can be resetted, especially when the pump is overhauled.
It can but i can't work out how to do it. I think you need some special software

My Resmed s10 autosense declared "Motor Life Exceeded" at 21,902 hours.
