i like their version of it, it felt like a realised version of what sam raimi wanted to do initially, make it alien and creepy, people just want everything to always stay the same, this was a great reimagination
Finally someone says it! One thing that bothered me the most was Insomniac naming most symbiote suits "black suit". So thank you sir for knowing the difference lol. I don't think it should look alive, but in the context of MSM2, looking like its alive works. In the comics, Peter removed it because its alive so when its obviously alive but he doesn't think to remove it, that rubs me wrong. I also think a Spectacular Spider-Man styled evolution of the symbiote works best. It looks like cloth, but slowly it evolves to have more of an alien appearance over time.

I definitely don't like how they showed the suit and Venom in this game. First, of course, the design. I always imagined that the suit looks like cloth or something close to that. But they made it shiny as hell, even other variants looks like its some kind of a goo. Second reason is that Spidey uses all this tentacles, etc, which is definitely doesn't suit him. Same with Venom. I always saw him as dark Spider-man, but he doesn't do any websling or something, just some huge guy with tentacles. It's a common problem nowadays with him anyway

i think when he first gets the suit it should look cloth by bonding with his actual costume but as it goes on i think a metallic look would convey it’s not normal but also not looks alive
it depends on the adaptation I feel like the suit they chose makes sense for the universe the suit took on a more armory look make a similar upgrades were put to the advanced suit, the suit Read Peters mind in transformed into a look that was best suited for him

At first, it looks like Cloth and some standard suit But the more time Peter is in the suit, the more "Alive" it gets to look visually We can take an account that we have a few POV shots of Peter looking at himself in the mirror It looks standard, nothing much. But for the audience and other characters, it looks weird.
A lot of people who don't like it just want everything to look the way it did in the 60's. While others have solid reasoning as to why it's not their favorite. I personally like how they interpreted it, it looks like a suit made out of the symbiote. It's not too detailed, just some lines here and there. But when it looks corrupted and alive. That's cool, it shows the hold it has on Pete.
I’m good either way. But if the suit can perfectly replicate regular clothing without looking goopy, then it should be able to make a suit that isn’t goopy. I kind of wish each Symbiote suit he has in the game had a toggle to switch off the organic aspect so we can see the designs as more cloth-like suits. It certainly does make it feel more alien and further separates it from stuff like nanotech. And it makes stuff like the tendril’s feel more natural and flow with the design a bit more
I didn't like it. The suit looks like shiny ass goo. Makes it like look an early PS3 model. Gives the impression as if the corners of the lenses are low quality. It's just .. odd. It ruined Venom for me, too. The suit and Venom has an established look that, if someone were to make a variant of it, would be better opting to make it more stylized instead of "realistic" like goo.
