Hi, I know this is not related with the video but would you consider making a video about how to choose the right university for a course (prestige, curriculum, facilities, teachers, ...)? That would help SO MANY students!
i'm slowly starting to form my ideal lifestyle. there are four main things that i want to do to better my life. i'm getting 7-8 hours of sleep, i'm currently going to gym almost every day in the morning and i finally got a job. however, i still want to incorporate studying and writing into my schedule (while also being able to see my friends) the problem is that commuting to and from work takes 2 hours of my life every day, and by the time i get home i'm mentally drained and exhausted. how do i combat this?
You can study while commuting to and from work from audiobooks. And if you can get up earlier you can do a study session before going to work. And therefore you can reward yourself by weekend with friends. Also, you can shower after work and drink a lemonade and then sit at the desk and have one short study session before going to bed. One of my major difficulties in habit building has been flossing my teeth. I have been working on this habit for at least 3 years and I still can't force myself to doing it everyday. I suppose it's because I do it at night, I'm too tired to learn a new habit before going to bed. The catch is, flossing is not as efficient when done in the middle of the day! I've tried habit trackers too, they help with other habits, but flossing is a bitch. Any ideas? (I did read The Power of Habit a few years ago, now I think I should add Atomic Habits to my list.)
Some of those ideas are discussed and James Clear refers to the power of habit in his book too! But I find atomic habits more practical and to the point. It's highly recommended!
