I didn't add the release latch to the grill... long story short... I waited about 2 months in between all the orders and getting the wrong pieces sent out, that by the time I had everything the (hand release) latch was nowhere to be found.
I used my own glue besides the 3m strips in the back ... but that caused the plastic to turn a whitish colour... which I had to wipe off several times with rubbing alcohol...
I haven't figured out why it wouldn't work on yours... one thing I noticed is I took the fuse off while the truck was running and immediately killed the truck.
installed the same one my 2014 sequoia, but the hood isn't closing, i feel like it's a few mm longee than the original. it just don't close all the way. even though everything else fit perfectly. any idea what should I do?
@@ayechapin1 I got ya. I just installed this same grill off eBay on my 2008 and had to buy the 2010 brackets. Fits perfect but there’s no clear solution for a latch. I’m using a really long piece of rope right now but going to have to get creative for a latch. I do have the part but there’s nowhere on the grill to specifically screw the latch on

are the "tundra" letters tailgate inserts for 2014+? and how did you get them on just with the supplied 3m or did you epoxy?
The letters i bought separately and they have glue strips in the back... they're the insert for the tailgate's logo

My tundra 2016 limited and it doesnt have drl light so i did like you but it not working you know what happen?

Tundra grille is a little bit longer than sequoia. This won't fit on sequoia.
What is that fuse hook up called? Never seen that b4. Did it come with the grill? I bought mine used and no cool connector
Add-A-Fuse / fuse tap, can be found at the auto store.

You could have ran the wiring inside the hood and away from your strut, way cleaner.
Yeah I thought about it but that would've put the wiring all the way down at the hinge and I didn't want to add more wire to it
