Was so touched to see that despite the desperate situation, the kindness and big heart of some of our kababayans--with blown-down houses & just living under a makeshift tarpaulin or cloth as their temporary roof--still offering coffee to other good-natured people (some foreigners) giving the relief goods. It just shows the human dignity, hospitality, and resiliency of Filipinos eventho they were totally swept away by typhoon Odette.🤗👏❤️
I'm so happy that my kids have Filipino blood in them. The first time I stepped foot in the Philippines, I was already in love with the people. Philippines is my second home and I'm happy to share it with my kids. They should and will be proud of being quarter Filipinos
With us Filipinos, it doesn't matter if you're only half or quarter Filipino. As long as you claim kinship, you will have a family anywhere in world specially in the Philippines.
It's true!! A few years ago myself and my wife missed a flight from manilla to Vietnam and a filipina also missed the same flight and its late at night and she invited us back to her house and insisted we stay for a few days and drove us around sightseeing.. so hospitable!! A really wonderful woman!
I've met many wonderful people in the Philippines. There are however bad apples such as utuber local Ging in the Philippines who is profitering from this tragedy.
Filipinos are very resilient with lots of tragedies and calamities we still able to crack jokes, laugh and smiles.Thank you so much Finn Snow for your care to our Kababayans.
Its always such a contrast that the people are so wonderful but those charged with the care of the country, provinces, baranguys only care about themselves. Sad..ehh what am saying its politics. Only amplifies the corruption where people have soo much less or face such hardship.

i remember when I was young when some people came to our house (i dunno who they are) and my father would always cook chicken for them, and we ate whats left.. and on regular days we just had salted fish 3x a day.. in some western culture they may call it stupidity but in the Philippines that's hospitality..

Relief and aid continue, I am so, so proud of you guys for taking the humanitarian cause seriously. Your dedication to help out is incredible. It's been days since you guys started the distribution and still going on non-stop. I don't know what force driving you to do what you guys are doing but it really is mind-blowing - unmatched generosity is unbelievable! Watching the video and listening to the stories of the people sounded tidal wave must have occurred too. The video speaks a thousand words. The typhoon happened a day or two but the magnitude of destruction is unimaginable! I can not think of an appropriate word to impart my appreciation and gratitude but there is a saying that said, "God is going to bless you abundantly and exceedingly" Excellent job guys!

My wife’s family lives in Butuan , it was spared by Odette , all they received was monsoon rains with little wind. I have many times travelled through these areas , they’re strong people ( in fact all Philippines locals are the hardest, most kind people on the planet… it’s not going to be an easy task seeing the devastation when I return to visit this spring, my family will do whatever it takes to help out 100% we know it’s going to be many years before the landscape will return to the way it was before the typhoon. God bless , stay safe and keep doing what you’re doing. Thanks for showing us exactly what has been happening and for keeping it real. You guys are saints , good things happen to good people.
