    I recently learned about this system and i want it.
    I am new to drafting patterns and am self learning and I have been watching many videos and reading. I think I can.
    I have been sewing since i was a little girl. I have a good understanding on howctobuse commercial patterns so I'm in the ball park.
    I want to take my skills up a notch or two.
    Just about every pattern i havecever bought, i have had to alter it for it to fit. I'm short and chubby. I just dont fit.
    I like the idea that i can manipulate my own thing.
    Even if these are more vintage they will still work. If you get a set of slopers or blocks that have a good base, then you can create anything. Its easy to update with new fabrics and minor adjustments to collars, sleeve, and pant widths. The basic foundation is timeless.
    I love your enthusiasm. I will be watching for inspiration.
    I'm getting the system as soon as I have some money .

      Thanks for watching! Yes its all about altering and making the patterns your own, I love it! I've been behind but more content to come with me using the system, stay tuned 🙂.

    I have the system, but haven't tried it yet. I would love a beginner tutorial that involved cutting out the facing and adding seam allowances. Enjoyed your review.

    Do you know if you can use the non plus size system and convert it to plus size? I ask because the non plus size has like 258 pattens I think and the plus size system has roughly 35

    When I learned how to sew years ago, this was around at a much lower price. These patterns are the same as conventional patterns but on a smaller scale. You will have to adjust these patterns.

    • @UpgradeMyDiva
      @UpgradeMyDiva  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! Yes that are similar to conventional patterns but I love that they are made to measure versus commercial sizes. I haven't found I've had to do a ton of adjusting afterwards, it's been fairly minor based on the design I may be going for 😊.
