- I'm surprised that with a video title as obvious as this for an HMS Daring video I never thought of it before. Unless I did and forgot. Which is entirely possible. This is me, after all.

The Yoshino captain here, I was surprised how quickly I melted down under Daring's fire. The moment he smoked up and Zao spotted me I knew I was dead. Great play by both Zao and Daring.

Yeah, Yoshino's aren't well known for holding up under heavy gunfire haha
After this battle I was so impressed I returned to the British DD line :D

Jingles, you should create a series where you discuss the history of some ships! You’ve done something similar in the past, where you briefly discuss a premium ship’s history and then dissect how it performs in-game. I’d love if some form of this made a return to the channel.

I wanna see that zao's perspective, he was the real hero here for most of the mid and early game
And Montana - I'm guesshing his game was nothing spectacular, but still solid and important work for the team - he held on fighting alone and delaying enemy team in the east

What could that shimakaze possibly have been thinking?!?! He just had to run away and there was no way to lose. But no... instead he tried to cap in front of a Daring while on about 200hp. Very high quality potatoing right there, a rare vintage.
He thought he was in wot. Farming those cap points when victory is in the bag :d

I understand why Yamato stopped that floding - he was on low HP without a heal available. He risked being set on fire, but that would reveal Daring to him and he could shoot back so it was a better alternative. He made 2 mistskes, though. First was not running away in the first place - before he even took those torpedoes. He went between B and C caps to chase Daring. Second mistake was trying to run away behind island at the end. There wasn't even enough time on the clock for him to get behid thad island. He would be better off just nose in or angled instead of taking AP on his upper belt. He made himself best possible target for Daring's guns
Battleships aren't allowed to win against destroyers. If they ever do, it means the battleship needs to be nerfed.

For a moment there I thought the title read “Who Daves Wins”. Not unexpected for a Jingles video, but “BeardedGaming” is an eminently pronounceable name.
That zao is the teammate we all want to have but none of us deserves.
Jingles did not even mention the Double Strike that guy pulled off. Arguably, the moment the match flipped.
See this is why I like the British in WoT and WoWS: they aren’t too good to where they’re broken, but not too bad to where they’re underpowered. The British are the perfect medium

The enemy team had at least three layers of assured victory in the final minute of the match. As soon as the Yamato turned in instead of out. The final potato was peeled.
I thought there is no way the shima is potatoing this cuz shima outspots and outruns daring but gotta suicide

Tbh Yamato may have just mashed flood repair asap from when floods actually did massive damage, I sometimes still do that as a reflex.

I would've liked him to shoot a bit more AP. He left it waaaaaay too late in the end and almost lost because of it.

@@caspervaneersel8531 I was fully kitted out for starting fires, I ran the risk of trying to set one early enough to help me kill it faster, but as you saw the risk didn't pay off. The AP did the work though in the end :)

The last remaining Daring class destroyer is the HMAS Vampire. Pay her a visit if you’re in Sydney, definitely worth it.

This was a fun battle to watch. Then again, most of the battles that Jingles does are interesting to watch. Plus I’m early so double points

The Daring is my favourite ship in the game. My grandfather served on all 3 Australian Darings (Vendetta, Voyager (Sunk) and Vampire).
And once im qualified I hope to serve on their modern counterparts of the Hobart-class.

My favorite DD is the Haida. I might be biased as a Canadian myself, but when I get into matches with no radar I’m a huge threat with my incredibly long lasting hydro and smoke. Countless times I’ve hydro’d other DDs who thought they were safe in their smoke.

Old Yamato should have pushed nose in at the end there. Gave the Daring broadside at the last moment which meant the AP started to chunk. If the Daring was forced to stick to HE til the end the Yama probably would have survived that. Better luck next time.
11:50.. it was Zao torpedoes since Yoshino has 20km instead of Zao 12km torps, the friendly Zao and the Daring deserved a compliment by each team members since besides the two of them pretty much wasn't done by the entire lot... what a huge carry.. must have ripped his pants while at it.

I had this great little game last night in my Iowa that would’ve been perfect for one of those double features, but I didn’t have replays enabled. Came around a corner, surprised the shift out of and deleted a broadside Mino, then nailed a Bismarck for the game-ending kill with the next salvo

This shows what a guy can do when he has just one other logical player on his team. That zao and even montana really helped out in the endgame

many times jingles said zao torps or yoshino or shima torps wrong. yoshino has 20km torps, they dont stop in such short range. Daring also wasted his last smoke. enemy zao didnt expert load anything, he shot the AP that he originally had loaded. An impressive game bearded gaming!!

You neglected a little bit talking about the Daring's unique (not to RN dds but others) ability to root out camping radar cruisers with her ability to fire torps in a very narrow arc. One of my favorite targets when in my Daring is the red Des Moines camped behind an island. I let her fire off her radar, and when she is in cool down, I get within 9 km and then fire all 10 torps directly at her (and then run away before her radar is back up). Even if she sees my torps before they hit, it forces her to move which makes her vulnerable to the rest of the team. Also, don't underestimate the power of the heal on this ship. It's saved me on many a game.

I don't know about the title of this episode. In the last 30 battles or so I played, the side who camped better and waited for the other team to come to them, won.
This really doesn't seem to be a game that rewards aggression and daring, in general.

07:19 my heart was beating so quickly at this point
12:12 - "Those were the Yoshino torpedos." Uhm, no, He was within 7km of the Yoshi when it was last spotted. That thing has 12km torps base, 20km upgraded. Those torps ending before getting to Bearded rules them out. The Yoshi was in front of the Zao and did the zig-zag. Yoshi has some forgiving frontal arcs on her torps so she shot 2 salvos at the Thunderer and hit with 2. At 20-22k damage (depending on which variant) that's why the Thunderer went buh-bye. Zao didn't have enough time to round the headland and fire those torps. So those were the DD torps fired at the Thunderer catching up to Bearded before running out.
Seeing that the tops are looking good against the Yamato :D

@@nikoclesceri2267 they are currently being investigated for supposedly killing unarmed afghan civilians suspected of being terrorists. the claims include planting a weapon on a unarmed man so they could kill him and killing prisoners when they couldn't fit them all on a evac helicopter., and i'm not sure of the results but i think some may of been found guilty
