  • Today we learn how to implement Cellular Automata (CA) in Python. This includes simple NKS automata as well as Game of Life. The package we use is cellpylib.

When learning any new language, coding a Game of Life is usually my 'hello world' 1st project.
(I read both the original S.A. and Byte Mag articles when they came out. Dates me I know. Shout out to all the Dr. Dobbs fans out there. If you know. You Know!)
    🖖😎👍
(1st time I coded GoL was in Tiny Basic)

beast I love the speed of instruction and the skill level required. Thanks

Is there a way to implement this in a Data science project? Do you know possible implementations in this field?

Definitely a niche topic, but one that happens to interest me a lot. Going all the way into logics its amazing how simple a system can be and yet not Turing complete. Logic seems not the antitode to chaos, but at its origin. Kudos for your braveness to address definitely minority interests. Always enjoyable to wach you and sort of frustrating to see how fast you type and think.

import, import , import, dude talks too much and codes nothing, learn to do it from scratch, not that hard, and you learn way more cool stuff, this is rubbish sorry
