    In the market for a used 4x4, ute or pick-up? Well ReDriven's Ultimate 4x4 Buyers Guide will have you covered.
    We take you through everything you need to know if you're inspecting one yourself and how to spot a lemon. We'll tell you the key red flags that suggest it's probably best you run away.
    Also, tell us what 'Buyers guides' you'd like to see in the future.

    At ReDriven, we’ll be taking you through the pros and cons of a huge range of used cars to see how well they’re going now that they’re a few years old, have thousands of kilometres on the clock, and are coming toward the end of their warranty, or maybe don’t have one at all.
    Plus, thanks to our resident mechanic, Jim, you’ll find out what commonly goes wrong with them and what might need to be fixed.
    Most importantly, we want to make ReDriven a voice for the most in-the-know used car experts there are...you guys.. See, you’re the ones that actually buy, live with, love and sometimes unfortunately hate the cars we’ll be reviewing.
    So we want to hear your thoughts. Hit us up in the comments, or on Instagram and Facebook.
    We’d love nothing more than for you to give us as much feedback as possible, so we can make this channel the best it can be.

    And check the aircon - usually quite expensive to fix too.

    Great video. However I think a better understanding of what’s ok and fixable in older cars could be a good second video to this. Some of the items you said would be a walk away may see you never buying an older 4x4

    Hey guys, this has been super helpful. Just have a question.
    On some 4x4’s I’ve seen recently there is loads of rust on the under carriage and in the wheel areas, but on others it’s way better and only rusty along the exhaust and/or drive shaft. Is rust there ok in a 4x4 that’s 10-15 years old, if the rest is really good?
    Cheers!

    All smoke is bad. Ever heard of starting a car in winter? My car always has white smoke when the weather is cold and/or it's been raining, and there is nothing wrong with my car.

    • @lobsterwhisperer7932
      @lobsterwhisperer7932 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had an old XD falcon that would blow white smoke on start-up, but was fine once it got going. I think its sticky valves, which isn't the end of the world with old cars.

      It's useful info to have.
      I once hopped into the car of an acquaintance and within minutes had tightness in the chest and severe pain, hopped out for an hour or so, felt fine again and as soon as I was back in the car, the symptoms returned. Bad energy in a car can be at least as bad as bad energy in a building

    What can this Mitsubishi offer me over say, a unimog? Which I can also afford ...

    • @ReDriven
      @ReDriven  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Nothing beats a Unimog!
      However parking a Unimog in a shopping centre, multilevel or underground carpark is near impossible and the freeway experience leaves a fair bit to be desired, all things the Triton does with ease.
      We are planning on doing a "Should you buy a used Unimnog" video soon. I'm immensely excited for it.

    Used car service history doesn't tell you how many accidents it has been in, how much the vehicle has been thrashed, etc. If you can afford to buy new you should especially when it comes to 4wds. Don't be the sucker that buys someone else's problems.
